About This Class
This series of video classes focuses on how visual arts students can use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & Adobe InDesign. The courses will take it from the top and introduce each piece of software as well is where it can, and cannot, be useful. The next class in this series Digital Studio 2: Line Drawing & Painting Fundamentals introduces Photoshop's awesome painting tools.
In Digital Studio 1 (shortly to be followed by Digital Studio 2, 3 etc) we will be introducing Photoshop with a run through of how to create layers, text, shapes and how to cut out images. We'll be using a meme as the theme and having some fun as we get to grips with Photoshop's core tools.
In this class you will learn your pixels from your polygons. How to work with transparency in Photoshop (and eventually in InDesign & Illustrator too). We will look at colour and image manipulation and of course how to export and output your work for screen or print.
So lets get started with Digital Studio 1: Introducing Photoshop and make some meme's.
If you have any questions then just send me a message.
