About This Class

In this class you will learn how to remove the white background from your inked illustrations by scanning them and using Adobe® Photoshop® software. The best thing about having your artwork isolated is that you can change its color, use it on different backgrounds and add different effects to it. So join me and let´s get rid of all those white backgrounds!

You need a basic knowledge of Photoshop for this class.

Great Lesson!
Such a useful class! Thorough instructions on the technique and then a lot of bonus effects that are possible using the same method.

Sandra Bowers

Freelance Illustrator+ Surface Pattern Designer

I'm Sandra Bowers, I'm a Freelance Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer based in BC, Canada. I'm originally from the beautiful Medellin, Colombia, where it's springtime all year round!

I have very big eyes and I love animals, specially dogs.  Most of my inspiration comes from nature and animals, so I'm lucky to live in a place where I can sit in the garden and watch many free animals come close enough to admire (coyotes, raccoons, bunnies and many many birds!).

I create illustrations and patterns for companies to put on their product or promote their brands and I also create art for my own line of products (available soon in Canada and the US).
