About This Class

Join Skillshare Product Designer Andrew Mercando for this 60-minute, essential class on mobile app design. You'll learn how to use Sketch by designing the interface for a simple to-do list app. Sketch is a great tool for all digital product designers to learn, it is especially great for creating interfaces for mobile devices. Sketch makes it easy to get your ideas out of your head and onto the screen beautifully.

This class is great for anyone who's been wanting to try mobile app design, but doesn't know where to start. You'll come away with a good grasp on the Sketch tool, what it can do, and how to leverage it to make your ideas possible.

It's a good course to learn how to use Sketch. The only one I've seen on Skillshare. It is not a good class if you want to learn how to make app mockups.
This is a nice introduction to Sketch for mobile UI design, if you haven't used Sketch before it's worth your time although beware there are a few differences between the version used in the course (3) and the latest (at the time of writing 41.1), but nothing that a search shouldn't clear up.
Great class!

I'm Andrew, a designer in New York City. I'm currently working on Skillshare as the product designer. In my spare time, I also co-founded a pickle juice company called Backs on Backs. I try to see at least two concerts per month and instagram mostly pictures of my friends. Previously, I was a senior interaction designer at R/GA.
