About This Class
Illustrator for Lunch™ is a series of short video courses you can study in bite size pieces such as at lunchtime. In this course you'll learn to create a piece of art using other people's art. You will see how to find and download vector images and how to disect the images to understand what is in them. Learn to delete the pieces you don't want and how to extract and work with the pieces you do want and to combine them to make an original piece of art. This is the effect I will create using my own elements and other people's vectors:

Great tutorial! Really liked how the sub-groups were used. I've never taken advantage of sub-groups before -- indeed, never realized how handy they are. Thanks Helen!
I picked up some great tips and tricks to help me understand Illustrator better...and also inspired to create derivative art. I will work on a project to post later.
Helen teaches the popular Illustrator for Lunch™, Photoshop for Lunch™ and ACR & Lightroom for Lunch™ series of courses. Each course is just the right length to take over a lunch break and is packed with useful and fun techniques. The projects are designed to reinforce what is taught so they too can be easily completed over a lunch hour or two.
