About This Class

This class will walk you through the process of how to go from a set of pictures of a lovely lass (or gent) to a highly stylized portrait.

Drawing on the art forms of portraiture and fashion illustration, illustrator Jessica Jo Fisher will show you how to pull the key features and forms that capture the uniqueness of an individual and articulate those features and forms using line in order to create a final, polished, minimalist fashion illustration.

Detailed step by step instruction..very well done!
Jessie does a WONDERFUL job thoroughly explaining the process while also making it fun and not at all frustrating. Having no real experience or skill with portrait drawing, it was exhilarating to see the portrait I drew was an actual, life-like looking human. (Usually, most of what I draw ends up looking like a very poor emulation of Picasso.) Thanks, Jessie! Please feel free to teach more classes on this minimalistic style! ;)
Loved this class! I was already familiar with photoshop but decided to attempt this in Procreatae on my iPad Pro. All the instructions were still relevant as it is a layer based drawing app. I gained some much needed confidence as I have never attempted to draw digitally before.
