About This Class

Building an ebook with the standard epub format is not as complex as you might imagine. The process involves some technical steps, but with some self discipline and following the clear steps on this class, I am pretty sure you will be able to reach the goal and build your own ebook from scratch.

Once you have your ebook file you will be able to read it on your iPad, and why not, start selling it in Amazon or iTunes!

Excellent! A very well-structured class that gives the student a good introduction to the various elements that make up an EPUB.
This is a fantastic way to get to grips with the basics of creating an ebook. Guille explains everything clearly, and provides a solid foundation for further experimentation and learning. Would be nice to see some discussion of CSS for the formatting – maybe an idea for another class?
Great introduction to creating your own e-book! Guille's steps were easy to follow. He provides the files you need to get started, and you just have to duplicate and change the content. Some HTML knowledge would be greatly beneficial.

Hello. Hola.

I never thought I will become a Software Engineer. But in 1999 it seemed the best way to aproach the interesting platform the internet was becoming. Since then I have worked on many different online projects. From big ones for brands such as Google or Barclays, where I colaborate with many different specialist, to small personal projects, where I take care of all the different parts.

On 2012 I joined a five guys start-up in New York, called Svpply.com, and a year later we were bought by eBay. Now 2014, after resigning from eBay, it’s time to try by myself. Like a big boy!

If you are interested, you can find some info about the last projects I've been working on at: http://www.guillelopez.com/projects.pdf
