About This Class
Whether you’re a professional chef or a home cook, learn how to capture the beauty of the story behind your favorite recipes and share it with those around you.
This course will help you identify the best recipe to cook and photograph as well as how to document your process with dynamic images and moving words in order fully capture your favorite recipe.
My wife and I starting sharing our favorite recipes as well as those of our friends and family this past year on our blog, Pots and Pans. The projects have grown our own culinary skills as well as our food photography skills, but what we love most is the chance food stories offer us to connect with those around us.
We are excited to share what we have learned along the way, and can't wait to learn from the food stories you create!

This class is like the beginners guide to the beginning.. It touched upon a lot of great information but barely. I appreciate the quick and easy approach but I think in order to help people develop the skill a little more in depth information about styling techniques and editing should have been including. Also, I was hoping to see the final product at the end. I would recommend this class if only to get a basis on what skills you should look to develop elsewhere
We are Kelsi and Doug Klembara. Photographers by trade, in our spare time we love to cook and share meals with others. Pots and Pans is meant to chronicle our favorite delicious and beautiful recipes as well as those introduced to us by friends and family.
We believe a good meal is one shared with others - no matter the other ingredients involved. We love creating, eating and dreaming with our community in Dallas, TX.
