Great class! Excellent instructions.
I enjoyed this class. Caroline explained the how AND why of each step taken. Great class.
I just started cutting cards and there are a lot of tutorials out there which can get long or go too fast. This was was just right and gave me some ideas for my own cards.

A World of Cut Paper!

Nature inspires me. I have a soft spot for weird, cuddly, and adorable animals.

I was the kind of kid who constantly needed to be kept busy, so my mom would keep me busy with art projects. My favorite were cut paper projects. When I was five, my mom took me to see The Lion King. It pretty much changed my life, I went home and told her "I want to draw that." She taught me how to see and draw shapes. From that point on, I was mesmerized by drawing animals and it became a way of life.

After graduating from high school, I went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and graduated in May 2011. I majored in illustration, and took selective coursework in visual development. My education enabled me to explore my creativity and encouraged me to explore new media and techniques.

I was hired by the fashion company, Lilly Pulitzer after graduation. For eight months I designed shoes, bags, scarves, and jewelry. Currently I am part of the print design team and help create new textile designs for every season.
