My name is Angie Knowles and I love being an online instructor, helping others learn exciting and fun new things. I believe that learning is a life long adventure and plan to never stop until I die. In the process I have acquired a long list of skills and hobbies I can't wait to share with my students and followers. I find teaching to be so satisfying and I hope to be able to impart my knowledge with you.

Sewing

I believe sewing should be simple and fun. No need to do things the hard way. At the same time, I expect to have a professional look when I finish. I've been sewing for over 50 years, and have sewn everything from clothing, kids clothing, home décor and had my own custom slipcover business for over 13 years. I also taught at the annual Slipcover Summit for 9 years, teaching other slipcover professionals new techniques and ways to save time for a more profitable business. have an extensive background in different forms of art and design.

I have an associates degree in Clothing Construction and Pattern Design, and love using these skills in my many interest.

Textile Arts

My many interests in sewing led me to the craft of textile art. I've learned to dye fabric, screen print on fabric, free motion stitching and many other techniques, which I want to share with you.
