About This Class

Copy an oil painting in watercolor, here we are copying Renoir's "Two Girls Reading".

I demonstrate the drawing and entire painting process and I explain my thinking process and strategy. The actual demonstration was over an hour however the video is speeded up to fit within 10 minute timeframe.

Walter Mosley

Brooklyn based painter

Walter began drawing at age 3. He began private instruction with Bob Gerbracht at 23 and later recieved a BA from SJSU, studying with Maynard Stewart. He then attended the Art Students League of New York for many years studying with Frank Mason, Thomas Torak and Gregg Kreutz. 

He has exhibited with the Allied Artistst of America, Audubon Artists, American Artists Professional Leauge, and The Greenhouse Gallery. He was the first artist chosen to participate in the Bryant Park Painter in Residence Program and is an American Artists Professional League Fellow.
