WATERCOLOR COURSE - Simple, Easy and Step by Step!
Have you ever wanted to take up watercolors, but found most classes are too heavy and academic? These classes are similar to a Paint Night but we use watercolors. The classes are Easy, and no basic knowledge of watercolors are needed. You can usually finish your first painting under 2 hours.
This course is simple and easy to follow, plus minimal materials are needed to start painting today. Use any watercolors or brushes you have on hand, but I'll give you my favorite supplies and a PDF list to go by.
The course is broken down into small easy steps and I'll paint along with you. If you have questions as you go along please feel free to send me a private message or on the QA board.
Watch it over and over or enjoy a private painting class with your family and friends along with some coffee, tea, or wine.
Once completed, feel free to share your final product on social media, you can find my links in my profile. I love to see the final work of my students.
I hope this course is a 5 star rating for you, but if not please let me know what I can do to make it a better experience for you.
Have fun and enjoy!

I love Kellie's classes, but I am a beginner and this one was not what I would put in the category of beginner. It was a hard one for me. Many layers and textures and details. I'm really glad I did it and I HIGHLY recommend her classes, but if you're a beginner, beware on this one :).
As an Artist I work hard to develop paintings that speak volumes, my love of Maine, and all it has to offer. I was BORN ON EARTH DAY and have lived in Maine most of my life.
My interest in art sprouted from early childhood. I am fascinated with the beauty in nature, landscapes and seascapes surrounding Coastal Maine. I started painting abstract in high school, creating mood through bold colors and shapes. My focus over the past 10 years has been watercolor which allowed me to use a more realistic style using softer lines and vibrant colors.
Since 2007, I have been teaching Watercolor and Alcohol Ink courses through JoAnn Fabrics,Hobby Lobby, Adult Educations Community Centers, Corporate Team Building Events, as well as private one on one classes.
Since 2014 I have been the Portland Maine International Jetport Artist. If you fly into the PWM Jetport look for me! You will find my work there at the Down East Market Place, or you may see me there signing my art.
