About This Class

Customer service is something we all experience on a regular basis. In fact, every time we go into a store, shop online, travel to work/college or take part in activities outside of our home (like the gym) we experience customer service. Sometimes it hits the mark and we have an excellent experience but all too often the experience is either mediocre or non-existent.

In business customer service is key. The customer may not always be right but they need to feel like they are because if they feel undervalued, unloved or uncared for, they will go find another business to deal with. And here’s the thing:

No customers = No Business!

In this bite size course, we are going to look at a number of things a business owner or customer service professional needs to be aware of in order to keep customers coming back, time and time again.

  • Introduction – overview of the steps being covered
  • Attitude comes first! No matter how great your product or service, if the attitude it’s delivered with stinks, you probably won’t make the sale!
  • Facts & Stats Quiz – what you need to know about the impact of good & bad customer service
  • Customer Service Standards – Why every business needs them
  • What customers want to hear – can do versus can’t do
  • Making A Good Impression - Verbal, Vocal & Visual and the impact of body language on our messages
  • Summary – key points to remember
