Welcome to the course Basics of Derivatives.

In this course, you will learn the basic aspects revolving Derivative Contracts and Instruments.

Derivative contract is a financial instrument and it derives its value from the value of underlying asset.

Basically there are three types of Derivative contracts namely,

a) Forward Contract;

b) Futures Contract;

c) Options Contract.

Each and every contract has difference and certain things in common.

In this course you will learn about

a) Derivative Contracts;

b) Its use;

c) Its features;

d) Differences;

and supporting simple case studies.

Detailed case studies will be covered in a separate course.
