Project Description

Craft a blog pitch with a brand in mind.

  • Get started: what do you love to write? Select 2 or 3 core topic areas that you’re passionate about.
  • Pick a brand: What’s your ‘dream client’ that you’d pitch to, within those categories?
  • Goals: What are some business goals that this brand might have, that you can help achieve through content marketing? (app downloads, lead generation, thought leadership, sales, etc.)
  • Pitch: How will you sell yourself as a writer in your pitch? Why are you awesome for this job?

Start writing your blog pitch in the Project Gallery – even in rough draft form. This is a great place to get feedback from fellow writers, revise your pitch, and make connections to grow in your freelance career.

If you've done content marketing before and already have a published post, please share a link!
