So you can paint along with me if you are new to this channel, welcome for us or follow Watson on the agenda and these creative journey where barrier brushes holiday mode, and let's dive into binding. 2. Supplies: For this class, I have been using the following materials. A4 size cellulose paper, I have been using brand are Tessa expert watercolour paint. My ones are Rosa gallery. And I have used the following colors. Can agree. Don gold, aka yellow, burnt sienna, cadmium red, car minaret, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, quinacridone, wireless, and wildland. As four brushes. Mainly I have used these brushes. Big one, number seeks and small one, number three, Galinsky, Sowell, And number four, black well-lit pencil for making under drawing also as a template for Z sick last project. You can find it in the glass Project Gallery. Then I have been using watercolor palette, toothbrush, some old ones, and salt, some kitchen salt. Also, you will need the paper towel in order to remove us extra Morcher. Or you can use a piece of fabric. And also, what are, what are with water. Good holiday mood. Does n Let's start painting. 3. List of Prompts for Winter Illustrations: In order to boost your creativity and greater idea of winter designs, I have ADD into glass resources section, winter, Brahms least. So that is just like define some unusual or some interesting combinations are all one leg in some ideas or so then you can just bring it out to guard it and to give it in some box or from where you can take out like five different bronze. And then to see how you can combine them and see what you will get. So in this one, I have had stars, Greenland candies, and Holly berries. So Z also has a begin. It was Christmas tree, but I didn't like my initial design. So now I have changed it. I decided to remove the Christmas tree and to leave it as it is. So just have a look at this bronze list day if you need some additional inspiration in this glass, I will. Pain Disease, a snow globe with his winter house. The template. You can find it in the glass resources section. Or you can create your own house and just DO watchers away you how I obtained in my one and domain, you're one in your own way. So let's get started. 4. Basic Watercolor Techniques: If you're a beginner with watercolors, First, I would suggest you to practice a bit there with washes hair before you maltose their main class project. So that is quite easy. Just take some pencil and let's create some sheep heart. This one. Now let's power it with the same color. So here I have some mixture that is, I think we can agree on gold and burnt sienna, but any color, it doesn't matter. So it's quite watery you can see. And then you start to cover these harder with a color. We need to move quite quickly. And what you need to pay attention is at here, this line, border line should be all the time wet because if it's going to get dry, then you won't be able to that it would be really noticeable. Border where it goes. So the next one, let's take some golden, yellow or orange color and starts to introduce it just at the very border. And here you can see that it starts already to change. And let's add a bit more of this color. It's stronger. And here you can see what we have created a really simple exercise and just practice or we say feeling different shapes. Let's create another shape and as heart. So also before we have entered this one is still wet, Wild is still wet. We can add another color. In this case, you need to give birth to keep an eye so that the color which you are aiding each should be, it shouldn't be more diluted. The structure of the texture of this colour, it shouldn't be more diluted as in the initial wash. And then you can add some other spots. So that's what mainly what we are going to do in our project. So Zed is one thing. Now let's cover another one and we'll practice with one more thing, quarter which we are one. And rural practice with one more technique which we are going to apply. So I will use yellow graph. And the same, just covering the sheep. Don't take small brush because if you are going to take small brush, then you will need more time took hours the same surface. And there is higher probabilities at the borders. This line will get dry before you will finish. So let's add now a bit of burnt sienna color which you are adding. It should be the same consistency or a bit thicker, but not more watery. And you can see it's really beautiful tolerably. What you are going to need. The next thing that is with we will mix burnt sienna with a bit of wireless it like this. And this one broadly has got already dry, so we will make some border not completely dry, but okay. So then we'll have to wait. This one still hasn't got dry. So that is one thing because you can add. So here, that is another technique which also you can apply while it is still wet is this area you can add already shadows. The texture of the scholar which you are adding. Each will be thicker than all those previous ones. Okay? So if we do still, where does then it will start to bleed legs 0s and 1s, it will get dry. It won't be related like this. And in this case, you will need to make it like soft edge. By soft edge, I mean, so this one is really hard and defined edge if you would like to make it softer. So then first you make the shape, then you take another brush, urines it in water, and you remove all extra moisture with a paper towel and then you just pass it at the very edge. So in this case, it was a bit late. You move a bit quicker. Let's try again. So instead one has got the Already Dry. Oh, okay, is this one is quite nice. Let's make this way. Now with another brush will remove. So it's just them but it's not really, really watery. And we pass here. So this one here, we are on time and we can make a really soft. Then you can rinse again your brush, remove extra moisture like this to make it really soft. So for example, let's try to make that is the same mixture and burnt sienna with Violet. And let's try with this heart. Healthy. This one also, he still hasn't got dry and let's try with this line. Yeah. Look, this one has got already drives this side. So I am introducing this border. And you may know this where it was. Wet, still went and then it has got this beautiful bleed and coloring integration. But this part is quite hard. If you don't want to have these really hard line and decides that it will be noticeable which color you have aided. Like the second one, you rinse your brush and then always wet brush you are making soft exist and now it looks much better. So it's much better integrated into the previous color. So ideally, you are going to have these kind of merge of colors. And it would be a more software and more beautiful. So just practice with different shapes and see what you can get to you. Another technique which we are going to use that is dry brush. For this, you load your brush and then you remove this paint. We sand paper towel. So you're removing the paint live in really, really a beat. And you may notice that it creates this kind of texture and it's really beautiful. And really grades is brushstrokes for great in some texture cell of wooden elements are like in our case, we are going to use it for wooden door. So just practice. You see that it's already almost no galore left. And you can get these kinds of textures and they look really nice. Let's apply now to one of the heart. So you load your brush, remove the paint, leaving really, really a bit. And then you our another thing that they obey. So for editing this dry brush strokes, the base should be completely dry. So this hard is still getting drug. Let's try with this one. So this one here, you can see these kind of texture which, which creates, it's really, really beautiful. So if you want to, then you can add another line. You are removing the color and hear you. Here it comes. So that it's actually like to create some textures. Just practice whizzes, brushstrokes as well. 5. Gingerbread House in Watercolors: Just there find as a template for this house, christmas house in snow blog. And the lead start and now the meditation part does that. Is it just the planar with watercolors for all star dot, I will remove some traces of benzene so that it would be so noticeable because later, it would be quite complicated to remove it from there. Now, once you have put a layer of watercolors, so but I will try move it not completely so that also you will be able to see what I am painting. And we will start with just the world's dido with simple wash, wet dries. It means is that we will have some color prepared and just there we'll cover some areas. And while they are, where do we also, we'll add another colors so that it will be some kind of shade. Let's start there with lightest area says that this here is going to be zeolite as these stars. And probably the stars. So I will use a first lemon yellow. It's quite diluted. And to this lemon yellow, I'm going to add later quinacridone gold. So have prepared, there's a scholar's here. You can see that there's a calorie is quite watery. Then let's start to feel. So we're moving quite quickly. It's better to have another gratia by hand. And with one your cowering as area with one color and with another one, you just add another color. So here I entered. So here I had a tiny amount of can agree on gold. And you can see that it makes already a bit more interesting in the light. And now let's keep on moving with stars. Exist. Don't worry if you're going out out of the border later we will add more definition. And also the BAL. Let's make it with lemon yellow. And now let's add a bit more of Kalemkerian gold. So in some areas, not everywhere, but just to make this a forex, then xj will look more interesting and more alive. We have here one more. Z, star z is one and this heart and this bird, in my imagination as a from Gingerbread. So we will use different colors for these areas. But this star, so they're more like from light lights. So that's why we are going to use the same colors, lemon yellow, quite diluted. Also, you can choose different color solutions depends on your class, like on your project ends and what you have greeted because I think that you've got inspired the ante, how great it sounds indifferent from my ONE. Or just first try with my one ends and try to create something which would be which would be really personnel year1. Okay, so our next stage is going to be gingerbread. Let's, uh, for this I will use yellow or gra. I also use it quite diluted so that it would be really, really alight. And by the way, I'm using Galinsky Sable brush number three. And then we will start with something simple that is this star. And by the way, I'm leaving white line and the border. So I do not cover all the area because I would like to have like glazing why glazing around it. So that's why that part that I am leaving as it is with a bird, the scene, but the bird I will cover. All right, I think. And heart is the same. I'm carrying on laser central part of the heart. And another I'm blue in white so it will be more contrast. And also I had a bit of quinacridone gold. So to make it more interesting and more Shane. And still we have here one more star. So let's use the same yellow or grab that one. I have taken a bit more concentrated and I'm Louis white. Outline around and can agree on gold. For this Gingerbread also, we are doing an add some darker shade for this. I will use a burnt okra. I know it's not burned, burnt sienna. Pardon? That is one of my favorite colors. The disease contrast. So keep in mind that you need to move quite quickly so that while as this area is still the first color is still wet, then you add another color. So if for example, like this urine trip and you don't want to have so much area with this darker color. Just glean your brush, then you remove extra water. Was your Paper towel and you lift the color and remove it. Then again, we'll wash your brush, urines your brush, remove extra moisture and you lift the color, tells it is. Or you also can help with the same until that it should, your browser shouldn't care. And really a lot of water as y. So it will make like background, but like this, it's fine. Ok, so now we will need one more area with yellow ochre a make it really, really diluted because I wanted almost not noticeable. And what we are going to do is this. So this will make them that also more volume. So that make one line and another line. They Renoir one part of yellow paper of whitepaper, sorry. Okay. And then another one. And this will help us to create additional volume. So just leaving one area white. Besides we are using, why didn't this yellow OR grow, but it should be really, really transparent. So this part will also herald ready. Now, what we can do next is let's make snow. That is also a really, really light colors. For this. I am using blue and I'd take it really diluted. And what we are going to make go in order to create this effect of snow. That we are going to add some shadows under our Candice this way. And there was another branch that is just damp brush doesn't have real lots of water and you make it just spread like this. So it has already some color. And it will create also Sam shadows under the star. And four here. That is, I really like this coloring part of process because it's usually really relaxing and you're already like starts to feel this Christmas mood. And you just get that feeling, that really, really nice feeling of of holiday, no miracles. And then with a wet brush and just spreading so late, if it would be necessary, we will add some more shadows, the stronger ones. But here we have already some parts are like that. It's, you can see that it's known. And here on the door, the door, this same. So just a bit. And do we have already this illusion of snow created? And now if you are reading and now it doesn't look oh, for your so scary. Let's start with the main part. Is the body of the house. For this, I will use bigger brush. Number six, and that is again Galinsky several and I will use yellow or correct. And this yellow okra, I make it quite diluted and I will be aliens in some areas with Conoco Dong gold. Let's start. So I'm moving quite quickly. I would like more water. And while it is still wet, this area line, I would like to live with wide. And while it is still wet, I will add a bit of a grid on yellow zs way to make it a bit more interesting. And also a bit of burnt sienna that is more like brownish, orange color for here, whereas there is shadow broadly for this area. Like this. And it would be nice if you have a quinacridone while it. Or just too as a really, really the alluded wireless, you can add a bit more of shadow in these areas while it is still wet and then the color, so we'll get merged in white being quite beautiful way. So that's why you need to move quite quickly. I exist. And for here, I think as a first wash enough, let's move down. Again. I'm Dagan more yellow or gra. Let's move down. So try not to cover with this color, your dynein. Lights of stars. That I'm concentrated because it's really tiny and you need to be quite concentrated in order not to cours en whizzes dark color because it's NSA won't be so bright and shiny. Okay, so we are moving down. Here, we have a bit of yellow ochre. Meet more diluted. Here. Be careful always there with a heart because we are going to leave that area wide and it will get more contrast. So for here. And while it is still wet, we are going to add some other colors. We will add a bit of integrate on gold for some areas. Four here, four here. Yet books now more cheerful and more beautiful. Right here. Then I will add one color. You can add orange your, or if you have golden yellow that is like really weren't orange. And it makes us these kind of really beautiful stars. And another colour which I am going to get, the one which we have used for snow that is cobalt blue. We will end it here in the lower area of their house so that it will make them bit more. Also gives a volume. The Hausa. And like more of these areas, they are going to be like lower Moines or shadows. That's why is there a bit darker? And for this, I will use cobalt blue as well. You can add some dots or this cobalt blue somewhere else. So that to just that it won't be really boring this house. And here you can spread a bit, make it softer. Let's add also a bit of red, but really relates just on the tip of my brush. And I made it a bit of sadness cadmium red. And you need to edit in some areas where it's still wet because in some areas it doesn't get already loaded. So I think that I exist is nice. And quinacridone islet here to create a bit more of contrast. It could be also for here in the lower area and here under this line. With clean them brush you are just spreading it. And the next part here it's a bit lines is to make it softer. And then I will use a burnt sienna to make shadow say in this declaration of the house. To add a bit more of volume and to pop them to Bob. Bob them are up. So just bit of burnt sienna. This part, you may notice that it has got already dry. This is just great. Okay, now let's move to a really fun part. That is, with the sticks. I will use for this cadmium red for first layer and then a bit of volume or we will, for a little bit more of volume, we will use a cadmium red mix there with ultramarine blue. And I will start with from the site. So remember to leave that white area, White that it will create also some kind of highlight. Will help us to grade the volume. Be careful not to touch the value of the house that I have almost digested with my fingers. Otherwise, you can remove some bars are color. For here. Starts to be more cheerful and more beautiful. More like in holiday mood. And for him it was some really tiny like this up. And let's add now darker. For this, I will use cadmium red, then EBIT of Garmin, and ultramarine blue, so that it would be a bit darker color. And there was this darker color. Again, I am going just at the very border so that the great disease volume in those areas. And the variable here, if it will be necessary to add a bit, to make it a bit brighter is, and we will add one Malaya and another one that is the same cadmium red. And I will add a bit of Garmin so that to make the color a bit more cheerful and brighter. And let's start from this tiny area. This one that is really relaxing and getting relaxed. And quite soon you will enjoy your beautiful Christmas cards. So remember to leave this white line. Here we go. And we got the second one. Next, let's add some darker shade for this. Cadmium red can mean red and a bit of ultramarine blue like this. And let's add or there exist. So they are brighter. 6. Holly Berries and Biscuits in Watercolors: I'm making more color. That is cadmium red whisker minaret. Let's make this one. So that is another candy. And we're going to leave some also area white for highlights. It looks really nice. You may usually during this holiday, winter holidays have barriers. You are, I didn't really lots of Kennedy's different cakes. Let's make also while we are here, this bar does well at the door. The same lewin, Some white line. This will help us to create the volume. This starts to get more cheerful. And now let's add a bit more of dark color. And the beautiful drama in blue. Here for candy. This area just near as our border. So that one. And here also close to the border. Next one let's make, it's not a good idea to make now is adore because this is o again, touch the red area it, and it can start to bleed. Let's make red like holy buries, the berries, and just try to live also some area wide that it would be for highlight. Four here with some darker shade like Zs. And they're from another site the same. Remember to leave some wide-area. And four here. And let's add some darker sheet. Another area which we need to cover is that is our lives, four leaves. I'm going to use. Cobalt blue, which we have used before. And then the mixture of cobalt blue with gold. So that will create some beautiful, beautiful green. Let's make this another color also to have it prepared here. And they beat of integrating gold. Really beautiful. I like this color that it's warm and with more off. Yeah, I really beautiful color. I like it. And those leaves are which are a bit further, we will may exam cobalt blue. So just quite transparent. Like this. We can add it with another brush, just a bit more concentrated color from the exist. It makes them a bit more brighter. And from the sides the same. I will make it with cobalt blue. Let's make some Bart's a bit brighter. As a brush, I'm taken directly as a color from Japan. For here it would be nice also this beautiful cobalt blue. Remember to leave was outline of our star. It should be white for glazing like this. And also let's add a bit of blue. And also we can add even a bit of green in some areas. Yeah, it would be my understanding and doing a bit of red. Let's say I have started to it so it was invalid, starts to add more and more to make Winder thinner color like this, I think it's fine. And now let's may exist front ones. Green ones. I think that is going to be more interesting and more beautiful. They're contrast. You can add a bit more of blue to make it more. And be careful here with the heart. Remember to leave with that outline white. And for here one more leaf from the site. And I really like this combination of these greener with this red. Looks really harmonious color combination. I think a bit more of cobalt blue. To make it a bit. I exist. So here we have the, one of the things that I think that I would like to add a bit more of a warmer color to this one, because otherwise it's too cold. And here probably also, I would like to really warm. I have Canuck radon gold, and it makes such a beautiful difference. Now let's come back to our windows are, and let's make exam. I'm darker. And then du would be noticeable was light, the light's insight. For this, I will use here this a burnt sienna. And then for the shadow. So we are going to use a mixture of burnt sienna with clinical dongle. We are connected on wireless or with Violet. So in some areas also you can hear, Let's mix. Burnt sienna was a bit of violet. Tos n. You will get the really beautiful chocolate color. Or here, 30 nice threads is dark color near there. Exactly near the border and any stars. So then they will start to pop up. And quinacridone, Gold Key knockers on wireless bargain. And here I have Dutch towards finger, we're really careful. So some areas, just the outline on the window and here near their star. You can add beta of horizontal violet. This unknown. They start to be more look like, more like real windows in the winter. Let's add the same colour here to make it a bit more as a contrast. And here is the same as it is. Now. I'm ending directly connected on the violet. More volume was another clean brush. I just remove extra moisture. And here make it soft and age. And the next one. That's the same color that is burnt sienna with clinical Don Willett. Very beautiful color. And let's add here declaration. This brush is clean and then I remove extra moisture and they make soft lie exist. This way. Like this from another side. That is quite meditative process and you just can enjoy coloring. So here I will get a bit more of shade. And immediately with another brush, I'm soft tannins edge. This way. We can add a bit more of a grid on gold. And for here, I correct the bids, the shape of this heart. Let's add a bit of dark area here, those A's Bell. And to make it a bit more with volume. And now it's time to omega actually our door. So let's use our yellow ochre here. Moving quite quickly and Canuck radon gold in some areas. Now it looks really juicy. Some areas we will add burnt sienna. So actually you can see that I'm using the same colors. And a limited amount of colors also helps you to keep your illustration more harmonious. This I can occur on the violet. Here means a lower bar die will add more. This way. Like the texture of the door. Only a bit more of the scholars at this burns here. Now we skin agreed on the wireless. Always violet, more burnt sienna for Z side. It looks really beautiful. I didn't like this area. And that turns EBIT quite shake your house. And I will add a bit more. This is burnt sienna with Integrate on wireless. And let's make it a bit better as a border. And the border. Make soft with them brush. Now, which color of burnt sienna was a bit of violet or integrate Anwar islet, which is beautiful chocolate color. We are going to add two more volume to ours, biscuits. So just some areas inside. And then also we are going to make outline with the same car. I won't make it the whole outline because we will probably just always exist without making the whole outline. And these ones the same. First, the inner star. And you can see in the contrast, it starts to get more volume and more shape. And here is a resistor. So we can place already is a stick ends. The next one is going to be, let's make first as a bird like this and some outline, I would make it a bit softer because I am not really her bill has my outline. So you are just they're always then brush making self in our age. Exist. Still. Here we have our heart. Let's make, let's add some more loomed our heart and outline. Now it will start to be really bright. And here is the stick. So the next part is going to be a more. Now we have already all colors placed. What we're missing are Kenji's. And this can do so we can make those colors. One more thing. I forgot about these stars now we can move to the stars. And Candice, I have left on purpose for the last moment in order to be able to like to balance as air amount is a color. So which we have here. So for here, that is burnt sienna, always burnt sienna with a bit of a wireless. And this stars, we forgot about them BY islet. So here our stars will start to pop up and we'll get some more volume. I make it only one side that you will see that once we will add more Shadow of the snow, it will start to be more noticeable. So here we have, again add some centers to our holy varies. My exists. And now let's start to add color to our Candice cells. This one, I will make it red. This one also i will make it red and blue in some white area within. Here would be nice to make it a read. This one to make it red. And probably this one in the lower area. This one, let's make it red, x0, x1. And using that mixture of cadmium red with a bit of Garmin red. And this one I think, would be nice. Next one, I'm going to use grid on yellow. Yellow ones, really cheerful. And four here. And this one, I will use the runner which is more, and this one probably Z star and from this side, and this one, and this one. Next one is going to be cobalt blue and tried to wash really well your brush after connector Don yellow, I can occur Don gold, Berlin. Otherwise, cobalt blue mixed with can agree on goal two will turn into green. And that is another color which we are going to end. But at the moment we are going to add a bit of cobalt blue and force here. So I'm blew this one. That one, I will make it green. And this one will be also blow. This one, really tiny one. We will make it blue. Next one is going to be mixture of cobalt blue with kinetic along gold. Really beautiful, warm green. And we will make several over these really warm green color. As each one. X0, x1. Here would be nice to have green one. And no more space. I will make here one more on the initial sketch, but I will add it looks really, really nice. And this one also just Di Yi Dian. And here it would be nice also played somewhere for here. So that is up to you. Just look your illustration and see where would you like to add some more which color is missing? And you would like to strengthen it. 7. Adding Textures: Okay, so careful radium almost dances part. And what we are missing that I will add more. That this mixture of burned burnt sienna was burnt sienna with bit of wireless. And I would like to add a bit more here volume. Just to separate this is snow from the door. Then with red, let's make here and Nozick AND which will look like Handel. It's really tiny, so it's quite complicated. But more or less this way. And what else? Let's make here this part. And then we will see, I will start with skin agree, don't gold and Bernstein. And now so that is something what I have here on that ballot. And now we'll move to the more interesting part. So each worm like this. And then we'll add some areas of different colours. For example, in a grid on World, I did probably a bit of lemon yellow. Let's have a look. Was it allow me I'd beat some areas to make them lighter. You can notice that now it started to get more yellowish. And then now we can agree, don't violet. In some areas, I'm making more the shadow from the snow to make some more volume to our stand. So far here. In the lower part exists, tells I just kinda put on wireless or you can use a while. If you are using the wireless, then use it to in a less concentrated. So that's done, make it, don't use it really, really sick. Because like ideas that it will get more likes this kind of this kind of color, what I'm looking for. And you can strengthen maybe more for some areas. So here we have our snow. Let's add a bit more of contrast to our lives. And this will also add some more, some more volume. I will use a cobalt blue. And what we are going to do, I will show first do is x0, x1, Just to make lion and then to add some texture lines. Really, really tiny. Here we have one leaf and another leaf. I'm done with my fingers. And my fingers as these areas. If I would be bending without filming, I would just move in different directions so that they'll be able to avoid too tight shirt with your fingers are the colors you just place your finger and it will allow you to hold and to hold a balance. So just add some lines. The next one is going to be Z's. When one's lets it here. Like these really tiny lines. I hope that your ones are going to be more accurate because in my case is at this, I have a camera above and it's not really convenient to paint this really tiny details. But you will be able to move your paper in all directions so that it would be easier to paint. Then some lines. Also you can add some textures. Do your lives like I know some hole. For example, four here and four here. And here. And four here. You won't be really social so accurate. And we'll look monitor here some more lines. And you can notice that they start to get more volume. Also later you can boss again and don't make some lines even sicker. So then it will create an additional layer of volume. I can see that my heart and I quite bail. So I think that I will add another layer of burnt sienna to make it a bit more. So with one brush, I add color, and it was another brush. It's just them clean them brush I spreads these car and now it looks more intersting for here. Yeah, it gets more, more volume like this. And there was the star the same to spread since then the star, because otherwise they look a bit pale. And as a contrast of what we would like, I would like to add this stars. So z are really, really tiny. And you will need to make a bit more of definition so that they will start to be more shiny and more noticeable. So I just add some areas like aging shadow from one side and they start to pop up. And then we can add this to connect this line of garland. And now it looks more modular form. I will make some more burnt sienna was a bit of a quinacridone Violet. And I will add a bit more of contrast. As always, I look a bit more like really boring and I would say, and I think that I will add a bit more of quinacridone islet. So to make it even stronger contrast for here in the lower part and near the star, so that the star will start to get brighter. And a bit more of quinacridone wireless for here from this side. So nine taken indirectly forms a band and it's really, really sick paint. So here we have, I'm missing some shadows for here. In this area was one brushes with color and another one is just there with the brush making soft edge. Here, the same color that isn't mixture of burnt sienna with Violet. So here it's to add more. I will have to correct for that area. While it is still wet, just clean them, brush. You are removing this color. And for here, I will add more. I will make more of these mixture of burnt sienna with a bit of quinacridone while it for here. A bit more. Yeah. So it's like, oh, where is there is a shadow? And to make a contrast of the two makes a contrast that it's like a browser. Roof. Below the roof gets more volume, more for here and from this side is the same. So that is already some small details and probably depends on your painting. And maybe you don't need to add zis. But in my case, Yes, I need. Here also some lines, some textures, some definitions as always, and you, now it's stage when you check if Samsung has got, is missing or needs more definition, more volume. Here I'm missing some shadows, foreshadows I will use burnt sienna and legalese. So just any more of shadow and maybe don't see scholar who is another brush, I just will make some soft H. So here it's more like really a long process when you started to correct and to add details, to see aware is missing some volume. And then you start to add beat by beat. Darker colors. And creating here is really important to, to make a soft edge so that it won't look really hard and not integrated into the main body of the painting, in this case in the house. Also you can add, now that we know so the lights in the windows as they look a bit boring. So I can add a bit more of an upgrade on yellow and to spread it to his wet brush. And now it looks more interesting. So here I can add a bit more. So it looks more interesting now. So it's not so uniform. And the light. What else here? We can add also some definitions, some like shadows, mid stones. And these parts are which I assumed to be a really shadows. They look really bright. It doesn't work. So they don't work because actually they're really lighter than those areas of the house. So which are about and which are closer to the light. And yeah. So that's why in this area we will add a bit of cobalt blue and a beta, alpha quinacridone while it. And we will see how it will work now. But it looks now more like real houses at the lower part is dark. Icebergs are color just there with clean them, rash exists. And from this sides are seen to make soft edge exists. And what we're going to adhere whizzes doorbell, No, I think that we can leave it as a way as I wanted the light. But then I felt like no, actually if it would be Londoners and yet you can add like light around, but this is just doorbell. So actually what we need even instead, a bit darker here, and then it will pop up. Yeah, no, it looks magic right there. Exists this way. So don't be scary to add more dark colors in the shadows. But tried to add them bit by bit so that it one beam from the beginning so dark so that you won't be able to correct anything. So gums. And yeah. Now, the house starts to look more with more volume because it was quite boring before. Yes, so it looks really nice. I will adhere sum shadow for here. So that also to pop-up disease, really beautiful, shiny light this way. And the water we are missing now, I think that for here we're missing some area. So I make it, I made in cobalt blue and spreading this part. And now let's add more shadows to do the snow. And then we'll, we'll see what else we need. That is cobalt blue. And now we will make a bit stronger. This shadows convert to the first ones. I also, you can add a bit of yellow. Let's see that whether we will need it to make it as a color not like blue snow, but more like grayish, gray shade to let c. And the moment I will make it blue, and if it will be necessary is then we can make some gray and make it gray. Well, I think that's the moment I like it's blue because it looks fresh. But the other options that you can make some sound great. And just by adding a bit of red, blue, and yellow, and then you will get some kind of gray color. Here. In some areas we can add. And you can add a bit more of red, then it will be more of blue. So actually it's like mixing sound kind of neutral color. And in some areas we can edit, but I don't really like to edit quite a lot because AB referred to leave for snow, that it will look fresh snow because this color is gray and it already is different color entered gives different field. So what here? Yeah, let's add a bit of this cobalt blue and go to operate some additional shade. And four here. And four here. So this let's make just always done brush. Making soft. I hope that you're painting with me. Because without painting, I would say that it would be boring, at least for me. But thoroughly relax and also Georgetown one painting. But it's more interesting and more enjoyable when you yourself happy. And so that's why I encourage you to paint with me so far here and bit more. X0, x1, and x2, we have missed this Candice. So let's add also some shadows for this area. And then adjusted with clean them, brush, making. It looks now more cheerful. Until now you know that there's going to be the funniest part weekend and also some, if you want to again add some texture, like some lines, disease area that is at color as a mixture of burnt sienna ways can occur down while it. So just add some texture. And to make it more interesting, to dwell look more like wooden one or something with more volume. And also we are missing here. More texture to our door. Zen, you will notice how it gets. In this case, I don't, my brush doesn't have really lots of water and that's why I can get this, this kind of brush, dry brush strokes. And they're perfect for creating these kind of texture. So of like wooden doors. And I will makes more of burnt sienna whisk integrate on the violet always While it depends what you have. I remove some extra moisture and extra color, sells it to get my brush dryer. And then I had a bit of texture. And here in the lower part as well. Now it looks much more beautiful. Here we can make a bit darker that site because there's actually no light, so it shouldn't be darker. And then these areas will start to pop up. Some also dry brush strokes in the lower area of the house. 8. Snowglobe in Watercolors: I think that this, our candies are missing some bright red color and some contrast. So I'm mixing cadmium red, always Garmin red, and a bit of ultramarine blue, red. And I will start that a bit more of color. And now it starts to look much more beautiful. In some areas. Mainly I add the dark color closer to the closer to the border. So that is quite relaxing. So I fault was it. You're also relax in with me. We scan this. You also can add some shadows to the red ones. For this door also need some shadows. It starts already, everything. Change. Berries. Let's it also sum. So that is how it goes, is that first, first layer, then you'll local war or is missing some volume or some contrast. And then you start to add more and more bit by bit. And like this is, and you get everything working altogether. So have a look. What is the difference between this one and this one. And that it's really, this one is really pop up. I will add a force here also. At the very end. It looks even better now. And this one, it looks really bail. And so that's how it's changing. And when you have two of them, you can compare which one it works and where it doesn't work. And it needs additional contrast. So that's why Don't be afraid to add more contrast is only things that it's better to edit beat by beat and not all at once. Because then you will be missing light areas exist. And here, it looks much better. My bird doesn't work and z star doesn't work. So for this I will use a bit more of burnt sienna with Conakry done awhile it. And we will make some more there exists. And for here and doesn't know with red brush, just a spreads a car. And here are the same. To make it soft. And it spreads or color. And maybe the more here, under there. And when you have almost done now is as a most interesting that as the funniest area, I had here, a little bit more shadow, so that to pop up is that area over there, this star. And now this is the funniest part. What we are going to do is the pain. Just now globe, one of the main things so forth, snow globe is a you need to leave Sam highlights white. So here we have them already indicated so that not to forget and just because of this debate them. And another thing is that we can make that work and make two versions that is up to you. One is the US or some kind of really light blue. That disease could be Silurian blue or from one GSC is really, it will be really beautiful contrast. Or you can use a horizontal blue, these two colors or some kind of cobol that require some kind of really beautiful blue, these kind of really then they're blue color and then it will be like really fall off light and air and transparent. Another issue that I think that we will go into this version is to make a dark like as if it would be during the night is his house, and then to add snow. So then we will have more fun playing creating snow and different textures. So r less that for this, you will need to move really fast and to be really attentive and to be really attentive and not to digest those areas which we are going to leave white. So let's start for this. I will use cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, and violet also. It could be an option so that you can use indigo. But I think that at the moment let's try without in us, our darkest color is going to be very concentrated while it. So let's start first though with lighter areas. And zed is going to be gobbled blue. So in some areas. And then I will start that and other color. So we'll take quite big brush. X0, x1 should be very careful. And you need to move quite fast though that it wasn't, your brush shouldn't be, shouldn't be dry. Because once it will get dried to 1B here, really careful. Because if we do get dries ends a border, it would be quite ugly. And you need to be really careful with all these borders. So my first layer is cobalt blue, more of cobalt blue. So I tried to make this outlines really soft. So it starts to get drying. Tried to move really fast. And the next one we are going to introduce ultramarine blue here in blue. So we are adding it here, their cells and X1 is ultramarine blue. And ultramarine blue from this area. And you need to move really, really fast. So for here now starts to be really beautiful color. And let's add a bit more, a bit more on this shadows. And now we start to it. While it quite dark and area, areas. For this part you will need to move quite quickly so that the Baines One get dry and you want to get some really ugly backgrounds. And I would suggest you to take a bigger brush cells that you would be able to color began areas out of paper. I am now using sam, concentrated ultramarine blue. And also remember to count as a central part of the heart. Jazz that add ultramarine blue. And in those areas where you can see there is that you need to make it darker. You may see is that here where we have a darker color and that our snow No, it looks brighter and white. Is the same with Z, say leaves at the back of the house. That comparative those air darker background, it will be no disability more. So just don't be afraid to add even darker color in order to create more contrast. Now I'm in the darkest color, which for which I am using while it. And this is a good thing for creating a contrast between their outline of snow globe on to highlight. And now the most exciting Bart is at bled said some magic, some magic and let its, I'm sold. I am using I see sold. So just place it in those areas of the top part of snow globe. And it will help us to creators at texture of snow. And it seems that I'm missing some darker areas or so. I will add a bit more of wireless. And your case suggests check your painting and see where you need some engaged if you are still missing some dark areas. And so you can add a bit more of wireless, but pay attention and not to place a y4 paying down on the dough ball of crystals of salt. And now we'll have to leave for our brain to dry completely. And then we will be able to see which effects it has created. And we'll pass it as a fun part is at, is aiding snow. 9. Let it Snow! Creating Snow Effect: Now we are missing the final step, that is some snow and we'll create some really magic and a wind there. Seeing for this, I will use those brush, just that Jaegwon, which would be quite old one. And we'll have this kind of results. We would like that they won't be really straight, but already quite used. So then they will create more interesting splitters. Heard me that now we are going to make dead sounds, splitters and white. Gosh. So first, if you have Guassian tuples and just take some small amount onto paper and then use it from the paper. And if you have like me in some, in some container, so then, first you will have to make it wet, emit this, be careful not to make. So I'd go Ashe with your normal what the colors because it can make really dirty colors. Silver like, more like muted. And the ones you have here already, quite liquid paint. Then we can move to the next step. So then we can move to the next step is that is the day. The toothbrush and some snow. By the way here is there is a I have already some snow that is that texture which has I have gotten our Once everything has got completely dry and I have removed that salt. So you can see that it has created a really, really beautiful older it is these kind of stars, textures. And now we will add a bit more of snow and you will see how it will change. So it will start to be really, really bright. So what I'm doing is with one finger starting to make the direction like this. And at some worse flatters. If you need a bit more. So anymore. What? I exist and barfing our doze brush. And let's add a bit more snow year now it looks really beautiful. And that is great. Think of grading dark background with white snow, Luke. Really, really snowy. And debit for, for that site in this area a bit more. And here we have our snow. If you are unhappy with some areas, you can remove some. But actually, it is really, really snowy. Also, if you don't want so much snow on the house, what you can make is took our it before. But in my one, it's already a really snowy snow globe. So I hope you have enjoyed and you have created your own winter designs and I'm really looking forward to see what you have created. 10. Final Thoughts: Thank you for joining me in this class.
