In this class you will learn about the new features and improvements for the Pen Tool in Affinity Designer from version 1.7 and prevalent in 1.9

This is an add-on class to the previous "Learn to Use the en Tool in Affinity Designer" where you will learn how the new pen and node tool features will make it even easier than it was drawing anything.

The ideal student should have some familiarity with the Pen Tool in Affinity Designer. Taking first the previous class on the pen tool is recommended, although not necessary if you already know how to use it.

It will be covering new icons, user interface visual cues, new features and an exercise to put the lessons in practice.

1. Intro: Hi and welcome to this class. Where you going to learn about all the new features and updates for the pencil? In affinity? Designer version 1.7 This is an ad own or up the class. So the ideal students scenario would be something like You already have some familiarity with a pencil in affinity descended 1.6? Or that you took my other class. Remember, use the mental infinity designer. So if you haven't or you don't have immunity to go ahead and take. So now let's start and hope you learn a lot and whatever you have doubts or questions or whatever, ask me. I'm here. 2. Pen Tool Icons from 1.7: So here it is the new affinity designer one thought seven latest person well before we were working with the person Want out. Six. You go over a note, and if it's a small, it's going to transform it into sharp. And if it's sharp, you can always present hold at our option Intercable and then dragging with your mouse. Before we could just click in shift track over the notes we wanted to select. Now we have an extra option, which is having all the notes that site clicking out in your keyboard, holding it. And basically what it is is just a new way off doing things. Nothing changes just more possibilities. Now for the next four icons thes ones you see in black here. Let's go now and see one of the new features. This one here, you're gonna see the no tool with a little circle below it. This is a notes selection tool use is a modifier, which is the out or option in your keyboard to work as a note selection tool on a selected core or segment. Pen Tool 3 New Modes: So what I'm going to talk about now must be really good news for some few, especially if you're not very experienced with pencil. And that's a few years to illustrator. So the first thing we're gonna do is selected that pencil. So selecting it, the first thing you're going toe notice is that we have some more icons in the contextual menu for more and for snap.
