About This Class

This is my very first West African Cuisine series and I am excited you are taking this class. I hope you enjoy it

Moimoi or Moin-Moin (Bean Pudding) is a West African steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled black-eyed peas, onions and fresh ground peppers (usually a combination of bell peppers and chili or scotch bonnet). It is a protein-rich food that is a staple in Nigeria. Some adaptations also put apples in MoiMoi. It originated from West Africa.

In this class, I'll show you in detailed steps how you can create this delicious African dish.

First had moi moi in Geneva Switzerland!!! I am from the Caribbean, but we don't have any dishes exactly like it. So since then I have been hunting for a good recipe and explanation! Thank you so much for this.
Nice to learn different dishes. This one was very well explained.
