Project Description

Paint a watercolor nesting doll

caca5431

ASSIGNMENT

Painting with watercolors is very addicting and the more you do it, the better you get and you start to understand how the paint behaves and how the brush moves in your hands. It becomes something very personal, because nobody can paint like you! So practice, practice, practice and make it your own!

Your assignment is to create your own Nesting doll painted with watercolors.  Use the wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques and add dark and white details either with a pen or a brush.  Choose a theme you love,, I chose woodland animals and flowers but you can choose whatever you like the most.  If you´re feeling like you want to paint some more you can create an accompanying icon (like my flowers).

DELIVERABLE

A completed project includes:

-One finished painted nesting doll (wit optional additional icon).

You don´t have to scan the finished piece, you can also take a picture with your phone and upload it. If you are scanning it, remember to do it at 1200 ppi so you can use it for bigger things later.

In the attached documents you will find a template for the basic nesting doll shapes so you can customize them to your style and taste.
