About This Class

This class is divided in two parts:

A- An introduction to watercolor materials

B- Demonstration of a few basic watercolor techniques through the painting of a sunset scene with mountains reflected in water.

. . . . . . . . . . .

If you are totally new to watercolor, by the end of this class you’ll have an understanding of different kinds of papers, paints and brushes used in watercolor.  You will also be able to make your own list of the watercolor materials you will need to begin, some of which you might already have at home.

If you already have watercolor materials, by the end of this class you will have learned how to make a basic color chart, a simple drawing idea, and two important *no-fear secrets* that will boost your confidence with watercolor.

You will also learn how to make watercolor gradations, and work in transparent layers.

Then you’ll be invited to practice your skills by painting sunset scene with mountains reflected in water.
