Water is one of the most fascinating subjects to paint. If you follow the right steps it is the easiest to paint.

My class will take you through various exercises which will make it easy to understand the water and its characteristics. We will get to know the colors, how to draw a boat and also learn about reflections. Then we will progress to practice projects and finally to our main class projects.

Hey there! Myself Zaneena Nabeel, an architect by profession and an artist by everything. I'm originally from India, currently based in Dubai. I experiments and enjoys all sorts of medium. For me art is a therapy and I find immense happiness playing with colours.

Since early childhood I loved to draw and paint. when I joined for my architecture studies I totally gave up on art as I got so busy with my studies, but the love for art was growing deep inside me. Once I graduated and moved to Dubai I started investing little of time on art. I started visiting art events and talks and realized the endless world of colours waiting for me. 1. Introduction: what color is a beautiful medium and painting with watercolors. It's so much fun, especially when you experiment and learn new subjects. It's over two years now, since I have started using watercolor on. Ever since I have started painting using article it has become my favorite made him to work with. I don't think there's any other kind of painting where the color can buy it so on and create match patterns. There are tons of little tricks that make it a lot easier to understand how to paint well with water. Close on, Dhere. In this class, I'm gonna take you through our fun dried on how you can paint realistic water, no matter which medium. Water is always a talented topic, but I have made this class and easy and understandable manner. There are so many exercises which will help you paint toward a close escape like a brew wave alone about different colors. How you can use them to create your reflection on add more character and life to your painting way will be looking at each and every material you need in detail. I will also be helping you to choose the best clothes for your water close escapes on. Along with that, I would like to be teaching you eight unique techniques which you can exclusively use in your Douglas escapes. This class will be much easier to follow if you have taken my world class. He's came for beginners there. I'm explaining everything you need to know about painting, border and reflections. This is going to be a super fun and challenging class where you will be painting a series off realistic watercolor Seascapes along with me. I cannot wait to take you through the class topics on if you're as excited as I am, joined me and get ready to Telerj. Awesome! 2. Class overview: before we begin, I won't eat off you to know how this class is organized. What All you should be expecting in this class. Andi, what are the topics that I'm focusing on? It's gonna be a little overview off the entire class. Elaborate class. So I want each of you to have an idea. What are you going to loan? And this class before you put in your time and effort into this class, we will begin by discussing eight and every material that you will need the kind of shades kind off crushes on the kind of people that you should be using. We will be discussing about everything in detail right from the pencil and eraser. So after getting to know about art supplies, we will move to a sketch practice where we will be learning to paint a different type of boards. Some crew is boards and some wooden boat as well. This is just a warm up exercise to loosen you up on. This will also help you in your future. Protects to get subjects for your Seascapes. We will be using some of these boots and our upcoming painting passport. So it will be much quicker and easier for you to paint that on our main projects on. Right after this elaborate get practice will focus on the colors, the colors that will be using for our water. I will walk you through the color that I'm using here for my paintings on. Also, if you don't have these colors, which are the color that you can use as an alternate for these kernels that will also be explained in the section. I will be doing a quick scratching off all the colors, the colors that I'm using on the colors that you can use. If you don't have them. You just need to watch sensation on have an understanding of the colors that you will be using for your water. In this color study, I have divided the colors and a few sections, so you need to choose born color from eight section to proceed. Photo on that will be the color that we will be using in our projects. Once we have a rough idea about the colors that were using, I will take you to an interesting section where we will be painting eight techniques which you can use in your water Close escapes this exclusively for water. It's not the basic watercolor techniques like we don't bet on wet on dry. I'm very sure all those techniques are familiar to each off you and this section. I'm just focusing on the techniques which you can use in your watercolor Seascapes from those eight techniques will be focusing on one asked me, Proceed, that is this detailed ripples. We will be focusing on this particular technique. In the next exercise, we will learn to paint realistic water using this technique with a single color and he'll be have it. This is gonna be a quick exercise. There. You will learn to paint reports. We will be sketching them first, and then we will add paint onto that. I will also show you how you can use the same triples and a different shade in the section . I will also be explaining how you can adapt the shape of ripples from real life. Photograph how you can manipulate them by making them closer and making them falter, on also drawing them in different colors that all will be covered in the section. So those are all the exercises. And after these exercises we will proceed to remain paintings where we will be adapting the techniques that belonged right from the sketch to practice and to the techniques people be electing everything in our main paintings. On this is the first painting that will be attempting. So this is the same board which we tried in the sketchbook practice. Each and every exercise we attempted in this class will be used to another main paintings. That way, every lesson you learned in this glass become stronger of any finish your main class projects. They will be painting a similar kind of abort which we attempted here, the one in the main project. It's gonna be a little more detail of ocean off the same boat. That means it becomes much easier and quicker for you to paint this painting. You have already tried honorable exercise and you have already tried the port, so you automatically becomes an export when you attended the second time. Similarly, in the second project astral, we are adapting what we learned throughout the class. This is a bit more challenging project where you will learn to paint realistic would on There are some more details involved in this painting, You will learn to play with different tunes off a single shade on also have to add realistic reflection on how to use masking fluid, how to add and more details. Everything will be explained in the section. So that's all about the class. There are quite a lot of exercises, and I'm very sure each off you will be able to paint standing particulars escapes. Don't be scared. Relax and give it a go. Maybe you won't get it right at the first time. But that is absolutely okay. I failed multiple times when I was attempting this class, but that doesn't mean you won't get to try the next time. Just let go the fear of feeling Go with 100% confidence and challenge yourself. All right. On that note, let's get started. 3. Materials you'll need: Let's start from the basics. I will be using a mechanical pencil and a kneaded eraser. You can go with a normal eraser under normal pencil. It doesn't matter on Ben, you will need a sketchbook. This is my sketchbook from art itself. So, watercolor, you can either go with the sketchbook or you can just use a piece of paper for our sketchbook practice session on For the schedule practice, I will be using this custom made pallets where I have squeezed in the colors that I use most commonly. For the sketchbook practice, we will need only few shades. Some blues on some orange Mancina, Andi Pain Secreto At the Darko tunes. We will be working with a very limited common colors which most off you will have. So don't worry a lot about the colors you will be fine on. That was about the colors that you will need for your sketchbook practice as they progress , we will be doing our advanced for to close escapes on. I have a section where I'm explaining every color that I use for my water on. I'm also giving alternate options if you don't have the same color. So you will get to know more about the colors that we use for the water from decision. Don't worry about the brand. Whatever brand you have got, but you will work perfect for this class on order means that I have given here as common colors, so you don't need to worry at all about your colors. So that was exclusively for the water to add in some all range and right, I will be using my open sketching palette. Trust me, you will be fine. I will be using only the common shades such as all range bond, Xena on and paint. Scrape. Next to you would need a mixing palette to mix in all your colors. This one is a plastic pallet. You can either go with plastic or ceramic. It doesn't really matter, or you can even use a ceramic plate and start off palette. You will need to judge a water. One has to stay clean on the other one. Strip prints off the pains from your brush. It is very important to have two which are so water throughout the class. At many points you will have to apply a clean called the water onto your paper. So it is very important to have a jar off clean water always next to you. These are glass jars. I think one off it waas off jam on the other one. I think I called. Dates are open it. You can always reuse these kind of empty bottles you get in your kitchen. I always prefer working with heavy, transparent bottles so that I don't hit it accidentally. And also I could see the color off the water changing and I can instantly change my water. This will also helped me get clean and fresh colors when I paint now on to the most important thing the watercolor paper I will be using Archer School Press paper, which is 1 40 l. B. This is 100% quarter on. It has got a nice texture to it. I love the exercises that will be doing in this class. Require multiple washes of water, so you have to go with an art is great paper, which is the minimum off 1 40 l b so that it can withstand all the multiple layers of water that you're applying on now. Want the brushes that you will require in this class? You will need couple off round and flat brushes. Let's first focus on the flat brushes that you will need the first break. She will need us awash fresh. This is Princeton light 1.5 inch wash brush. If you don't have Washburn's, you can use any off your bigger sized brush. This is to apply. Even go the water onto your paper, and next you will lead a medium sized flat Bresch. We'll have to apply Grady and Bushes at some areas, so I will be using this Princeton Velvet Touch Wash push, which is three by four INGE on Ivan. Also the using a smaller sized flat brush. Two Applied paint. This is Princeton Neptune flat brush, which is half inch It is absolutely okay. If you don't have all the three kind of brushes here, you can stick to a medium sized wash crush, preferably a tree by four inch bush brush, which will kind of help you to do everything that these three brothers can do on DNA. Now let's have a look at around Precious. You will need a bigger size drowned fresh. This is Princeton Heritage. Wrong for size. Number 12. This one is to apply the Bickell leaves and details. Then you would need a medium sized a round brush. This is again from Princeton headed Eight Cities. Sykes Number Sense. This is to apply all the details on the medium sized waves and triples. We will be using this fresh quite a lot. We will be using the same brush for our skits book practice on. Finally, we will need one more brush at the detail. In brush is the size Number two from Princeton headed eight CDs. Again, we'll need to add tiny details at some places on. For that, I will be using this brush. So that was all the bridges that you will need in this class. It is absolutely okay if you don't have all of them. As I mentioned earlier, insert off these three flat brushes. You can stick to one a three by four inch wash brush would be fine. You can use the same brush for applying even coat of water on also for painting. It is just that you will need to wash it quite often because we need to apply clean called the water. We don't want any kind of pain stain on that brush. That is the only thing you need to be careful about. Similarly, with the wrong brush, you can stick to our medium sized round brush, maybe an eight. But you will need the detailing British. This is to add all those tiny details. You cannot replace that. Okay, When I'm doing this painting, I will be using masking fluid to mask. Although Drew pan all the strings which are attached to the port this one has from prima. It has the needle tip. So it is quite easy for me to use this mosque in fluid. I can directly apply toe worthies group and all those things here on I can directly paint over it. If you don't have a masking fluid, it is absolutely OK. You can use a wide quash and a detailing Bresch on You can just dip your brush into the paint and draw all the through pants trains. The only thing is that you won't be able to mask it. You will need to draw on top of the painting once everything is done. But it is still okay as the DDO that we're adding with white guard is not so complicated. Does just these lines if you don't have a wide glass, you can also use your Whitewater color in ethical consistency. Or you can use a wide Children to add in all those details. This one is from Sakura. It is called Sekera Julie Rule size number 10. And finally you will leave a masking tape to mask all the four sides of your paper so that you get clean sites on. Then you will need a paper trouble. We'll need to paper travel to remove the excess porter from your brush. This is quite important. So please have a people trouble close to you on. I will be fixing my paper onto this board while I paint so that it is easy for me to move the paper around and add in all the details. I have the flexibility to do water where I found with the paper. I can tell tone. Andi, change the orientation. You won't have this flexibility if you fix the paper onto your table, get a old piece off cardboard or a Bic O magazine or book or anything and fix your paper onto that while you paint. This will be very helpful. So we discussed about almost everything that you will require in this class. But it's absolutely okay not to have the exact same thing that I'm using here. Go with whatever you have with this kind of similar. 4. Sketchbook Practice - Part 1: here we begin with over sketchbook exercise on. I have my artist cell sketchbook here have done quite a lot of sketches in this book. It is not 100 person artist, great quality sketchbook. But still, it works well for me as I'm not using multiple layers of water, You can also use a piece of paper to do the same exercise. You don't necessarily need a sketchbook on. I have my mechanical pencil and a needed your exam on. Along with that, I have a wide Children. I will be using this at the end of the section where I will be adding some deals using this gel pin. Then I have my custom Lee palette there. I have to squeeze done paint into this half pants. So this panel is made using the shades which I use Normally you can go with any watercolor that you have got Edo pants particular, or you can directly squeeze your paint out onto a pallet and work from that. We will be working with the range off common shades. So don't worry about that. You will be fine now talking about the brush, I will be using this one. This is principal Heritage Ground Burge size number six. You can go with eight or six or any medium size brush which will work perfect for this exercise. Last but not least, you kneeler people travel a spoon on but that we can jump right and Tober exercise on this where the sketches we did in our previous class, they did a very rough exercise to understand the shape off the boots and the reflection on day two leaves exercise is gonna be a little more advanced. We will be trying different types of boot in a much more realistic way. All right, let's begin. I'm starting the drawing a straight line somewhere at three. Food off the page on, then adding an inclined line right there and then another one over the right end. It's gonna be a little more longer now I'm gonna connect days to line, starting with the little straight line. Then once I'm reaching the centre, I'm just turning the line into a Kobe line on meeting that to this point. Next, we need to add that cabin on the top. This is that crew is bored with the cabin where people can sit inside and to draw the cabin , pick almost the middle after boot. And from there I'm gonna draw a straight line going towards the top. Once you have drawn that line at a small inclined line on the top, just like this, And from there again drawing a straight line. This is the roof off that cabin again. An inclined line on another tiny inclined line and opposite direction. And from there I'm drawing a slightly Kobe line and making it to meet the board. Now I'm adding the windows. You can add a rectangle piece there on our few lines inside, and divide that into three or four. And now I'm adding a tiny circle here and a name for the board. Zanny. Nana, being 30 July, that is my birthday and my name. You can go with any name that you want to give to your boot on. Then at the center. This point I'm adding a box. Andi, from there I'm going to draw a line towards the top. This is all those trains and roads which you see on the board. This is gonna be a little longer and I'm stopping it there. Uh, from almost here, I'm gonna connect that line and inclined line on making me tear with genital box. Now I'm gonna add another detail on the top, starting with an inclined line, a straight line and then a box on the top of this is that receiver kind of thing. Maybe to get signals or something on another rod here, one or two you can add. And then from there I'm gonna add a flag. So all these little details on our lot off character to your poot madding few lines at the bottom. Now we need to add a few more details over the left side on, but that we will be turn with our first boot. I'm adding a straight line here, just a rectangle box, which is a continuation of that cabin. Andi, over here, I'm adding another rectangle box. You can extend those lines outward. And from there I'm drawing a straight line and taking it across on again, making that meet the bottom line, adding one more line there. And now I'm marrying those poorly real sort of things on the top one. Right there. One here on another books. Over here. On that we are done, but detailing our boat. The last task is to add in the reflection. So here we have the entire length of the boat and the reflection Will beach is the mirror image of that profile. So here you will have a line like this on on the other. And Jaspal, just like a mirror image on. You just need to connect those two line. So you have your basic reflection right there on. Then you need to draw the additional lines. Everything will have reflection. It is just like how you are looking at the mirror and seeing yourself. Everything will be intact in the reflection. So here in this one, we tried the side profile off a boot. And if you're looking the board from the side when you're standing there or you're on a different port, you will see only the width of the board. He won't see the entire length. That is what we're gonna try next. Start with the straight line on this fun. You don't need oh 90 line because you're only seeing the wit off the boot on the middle of that line, I'm adding on of the straight line, a perpendicular line. Now we need to add these lines So there will be two like this because it's a side profile. You're seeing only one on the other side as well. You have a similar line, so one incline line there on a similar inclined line on the other side. Andi, you can connect those two lying to the center line with the Cooley line. And there you have your basic profile of the boat. Just like how we added that cabin on the 1st 1 we need to add that will hear passport. This one asked. You're looking at from the friend. And now I'm gonna add of windows, start with the rectangular outlined, and divide that into three or four windows and I'm gonna add on a door single window over the side. Andi Now the board is starting to look more realistic. That flat look is gone. I'm just sickening that roof line. All right, there we have the basic profile off our boot. Now I'm gonna shameful the top, pushing off all this lines, just reducing the thickness on making it little Kobe on the top to make the wit lesser at the top on more wider the bottom one to have added those lines you can erase off that corner. Part on the boat looks much better now. The next task is to Are those strings and lines on the top? And from this point, I'm going to draw a straight line on from here. I'm gonna draw another inclined line which meets the boat. Right there. It is these same lines, which we added We need to add another line here on day, that detail on the top. I'm just reading a line on a box on the top and then under the line over here on time, adding a flag on that as well, just like orbited in the previous one. On Finally, we will add a rough shaped over reflections, starting with the line at the center on drawing these toe inclined lines and meeting it at the middle of this line. You just need to give a rough shape. Now, later will be coming back with our watercolor. So we tried to different views of the same boat. One would choose the entire length of the board, which is a side view on the other one. We tried when you're looking at at from the friend there, you see only the word on. No, the entire line. I'm going with the same way how we drew the 1st 1 It is just that I'm only focusing on half off the boat, so my boot will end somewhere right after those windows and the remaining. I don't need to draw. I'm adding the windows and and then that little circle and earning for the boat. Next, I'm gonna adul those strings and rope on the board. And I have added that and that detail on the top. Then I'm gonna add an air inflated so clocked you pure on. Finally, I'm adding a basic shape for the reflection on but that other sketches done so we sketched three different views of the same boat. Now it's time to add some color on to these. All right, let's begin. I have a jar of clean water. Then I have my palate with all assorted colors. Then I have a piece off people toe well on. Finally, as I mentioned earlier, you would need a medium size fresh to add. No, the colors size number six or eight is perfect to paint all this boot. I'm using this Princeton heritage size number six a round brush. 5. Sketchbook Practice - Part 2: I hope you all have your materials treaty. We are starting to paint first I'm going with a light tint of blue. But your blue you want to go. But you can use that on time adding a light and of blue around the windows on dwell here asphalt. I'm going to ring these cabins to be white and color, so we just need to add in some lighter tones of blue just to indicate those shadows on bond . There we have the captain. Next I'm gonna add paint onto the windows. I'm going with pain. Scree. I'm taking a little off paint. Agree on. I'm gonna apply that. Were the windows leaving a little white space in between? Make sure your blue has dried properly. I forgot to add that light blue tune over here. I'm just adding that also in this is also part off the cabin. Now let's pain the boot. I'm taking a bright blue for my foot. You can go with Prussian blue or ultra marine blue or any brighter blue that you want to go with it. Andi, I'm adding all very bright Total that were this line the entire top line, the color that I'm using here as bright blue by white nights stick to any bold and bright blue that you have caught. Now I'm taking a little water on just bringing the tune down over the bottom line. No, I'm switching to Bonn, Sina, and I'm gonna apply or bones in our line over the bottom. So we applied a bright blue over the top and then we added a little water. When we reach almost 3/4 off the boot on towards the bottom, we added, Oh, bone seen online, Andi. There we have the Baisley off our port. I'm just adding a little more pride to blue over the top. As the cabin is right. It will look more nicer than you have a brighter blue for the port. That will be a nice contrast. Let all that dry. Meanwhile, let's add some came onto this flag. I'm using this yellow orange by middle of machine. It's a yellowish orange. You can go with any sort of orange. I just added that in, So we have all the basically is right there. Now I'm going with Payne's gray, and I'm starting to add all the details. I'm adding some taco tunes on the wing toe on the top line on on the left Flying. Just need to add line like these on the top, on the left side, on all those windows and I'm giving a line at the bottom Astro, focus on any of one side to add in your shadows Children, be on all the sites now I'm moving to the roof. Just add a line using your pains. Grief. No, I'm gonna add the final details on the boot. I'm going with a bit more brighter tone of blue on. I'm adding all the shadows on that white cabin, which will be the blue that you have used. Go the next tune on ardent some lines on blended into the background. Just a few lines would be enough because we want to keep it as white as possible. For the window, we added the DACA tone on the left side. Now you have to focus on left side variable. You adding the doctor tunes. It all should be on the left side, and now I'm adding some darker tones on the boat again, on the left side, I'm using Payne's gray here. I'm giving a thin line on the top on adding a detail here. Just a loop sort of thing, then some. But some pieces here on giving in outline at the Porton at the line where you have that bones in a block onder the border mass move and that's it with the boat. Now we need toe at all the tiny details on the boot again, going with pain screen on. I'm making this lines little more Docker. The more you play with different tones, the more realistic your board will look from adding some lines here on I'm making that box boulder on the roof as well. Now we're here now we need to finish off the left side. I'm giving a very thin outline. He came making that other box border, and there was another detail over here. Now I'm roughly drawing on top off. Those little details be added to be added that fully on, and we added some lines and details over this area. I'm just making them bolder. Don't go with sharp and clear detailing. Go in a loose and free style, even if you must some lines. That is absolutely fine. The only idea is to make them visible. Now I'm gonna do the same thing onto this little detail on the top off the cabin on now. Want the strengths and rope on the top of the boot seem cause with this long drink here, if needed, switch to our detailing brush. We need to get a thin line. I want to be allowed to go with a broken kind of aligned rather than a straight clean, clear line. Anyway, to start those lines now, we just need toe, adding, the reflection on bond with that will be done. I'm going with Indigo. I'm not going to clearly detail the deflection. I'll just add to know rough shape just for the understanding. We will be playing with more detailed reflection and upcoming paintings. I'm just riding a rough shape on the other side. Have a rough idea how the reflection is going to be, and then Philip into go or which will color your going with Philip that color over that area make the right bottom of the board little more. Doctor, I can add in more lines and scribbles like this to replicate the water movement now are marrying reflection off strengths on I will leave it there. I'm not gonna add more details or anything onto the water. We will be discussing that in the upcoming projects. So we finish painting over first board. Or you could see the yellow, white and blue. You can experiment a lot with the sailing board and their reflection. Now, that school But the next one we have one more sailing boat over here on. These are the two paintings that will be attempting in the upcoming videos, and you could see I use that marine blue for the water. You can use the took eyes blue mixed with Prussian blue Insure Doctors aunt. Here I use the Stay Low blue right. You can also use similar blue or ultra marine blue, and from that it's totally your choice. You need to add this reflections and darko values and add those fine details and final touches to your painting. You need to have your talk ist tones on Let's have a look. What are the colors that you can use for your details and all those dark tones? What I have here is indigo, this oneness from sin dear. That is one of my favorite shade, which I used normally for all my dark tools. It's a perfect shape to paint all those monochrome misty forest on bond misty mountains. Then I have Is this royal blue again from that Korean brand at a very deep one. Blue, which has the characteristics off a pillow blue when it is light. I have added some of that were this area to add in the reflections, you can use any strong, deep blue tow ard in your taco tunes. You can also go, but in the throne blue I don't have that particular color, but I know it's a strong tea blue on now I have a splashing blue. You can also go, but the darkest tone off brushing blue toe, adding your details and all those shadows. So it is not really necessary that in me to stick to any off thes three shades here, any deep, strong blue will be perfect to add in your darko tones. I will be using into go and drive blue. Mostly, I have used quite a lot off into go in this painting on and Royal Blue Asper. If you have into go the safest, pick us into go, you can just stick to that. If you don't have indigo, just stick to Prussian Blue. That also works perfect. All right, so choose one color from each of these four sections on Join me in my next video, Let's get started 9. Techniques: Let's quickly take some of the techniques which you can use and painting water. I have divided my paper into eight sections, and I have applied a masking tape on the first box. I have applied in even colder water on. I'm going to add lines like this amusing Taylor Blue here. Just add in Europe aligns, leaving a little space, and between each of the lines, it could be little border at the bottom on. As you go towards the horizon, it needs to be lighter. This is the one of the easiest way to paint water ripples using a single shed. I'm going to add a quart of water on top of this. Then I will go with much more Bulow shades. When you add multiple layers, the water will start to look more realistic. Now I'm going with Darko. Tune off a low blue on time, adding reasonable lines, border on taker at the border, and as I go towards the horizon, I'll make it lighter on but farther from each other. You could either stop it here or, if you want, you can go with another layer on the top by adding a coat of water again then going back work are much more talkative off blue. Anyway, I'll wait for that to dry. Meanwhile, I'm going the 2nd 1 here. I'm applying toe guys a lighter tone on the toe. Ondas I come down! I'm making the tune but more tackled on the top. So on the 1st 1 in the event that the more blurry kind of detail on on the 2nd 1 I'm going to add more fine and sharp details. I'm switching to indigo now. You think the shade. I'm going to add this triple lines darker on ticker at the bottom on. As I go towards the horizon, I'll make the tunes lighter on. Also, I'll make the lines. Tina Rascal. These lines are applying when the Bagram has tried completely. So my lines are sharp and clean. They're not spreading into the background. But on the 1st 1 we went with a more bloody to keep adding those lines. Remember very fine Anton lines as you progress towards horizon. So we tried to. Now I'm progressing to the 3rd 1 I'm going with turquoise again. I'll apply took wise on the top and as I come down, I'll switch took Taylor Blue. So this is just an exercise. If you have the same colors, you can use that. If you don't have the same shades, it is absolutely OK. You can go with any sort of color that you like. So I have applied to guys on the top. Then as I progress down, I applied. Do you know Plume? Now, under this, I'm going to add much more bait. Illusion of ripples. On the other two were event with just trade lines. Now I'm defined the shape of the reports to be in a wavy manner. Now, onto this background, we are going to draw these kind of shapes using a detailing brush. I'm just making sure the back room has pride on. I'm going to replicate these kind of patterns in the water. You would have seen these kind of pattern on the water. This is what we're trying to replicate here. We have some exercises coming up next to where we will be learning about these kind of ripple Cindy to All right, I'm just finishing off, but some horribles on the top and that's it. We're done with our 3rd 1 So we try pre techniques so far, the 1st 1 event with the monochrome Japan's but just more blurry. On the 2nd 1 we bent with more definite details where we added straight line kind of reports on on the next one be vented with much more details are proposed. Now let's try the 4th 1 I'm going with a smaller sized flat fresh on dhere on this phone. We're going to try the dry brush technique I'm loading my brush with in tico w oppression of people traveled to remove the excess porter on. Go ahead with your driver strokes. This technique is mainly used when you're attempting that shiny kind of water. That means there is a lot off light hitting the water, and there's so much off reflections you can add some taco tones at the bottom on, like the top asset is that will make the water look more shiny. So it is a paper wide that have left when you applied your dry strokes, which makes look like the water of shining. If you don't want those right lines, you can add a quart of water on top of it. That way you can make it look little dull. Now Let's try the dry brush technique on some color. I'll just apply even coat off turquoise on. Let's wait for that to dry. Then I will go with my dry brush strokes on top of it and let's see. How is it looking? All right, that has dried. Now I'm going with the drivers technique. On top of this, I'm using indie cool. Andi. I'm just applying some dry strokes from either side. It's looking very nice. This is a very plain paper. There's no texture on it. And that's why it is looking very flat. Maybe let's try the same thing on our water globe paper. Okay, let's do that. I'm going to apply a light coat off turquoise onto my fifth balls, and now I'm going with dry strokes off into go. Wow, it is looking very nice. Look so realistic. You could make the border between Darko so that the top of the water look as if it is shiny on. That was, well, fifth technique. I really like this one better than the dry brush technique on the plane people. Now it's time to try our sixth technique on this one. We're going to try how you can preserve your white without a masking fluid. I will be using a backs crown to pursue the white just a normal wax crayon, which is white in color, so that the would be Annie's Dane on my paper. Now you think those vax crown, I'm going to draw a line on the sixth box. I'm going to create a mini beach, so the line that I'm drawing here is the shoreline. As the crown is white and chicken, it may not be visible for you, but once I apply the paint on top off it, you could really make out what a white ground can do. So I have applied an inclined kind of line on this paper using my wax crayon. Now let's add in the color and see how this fax ground as helping us to preserve the paper white. I'll quickly add in the paint on show you this technique. You can use a vax crown to preserve the paper white when you're doing your page paintings to create that shoreline. Now I'm sitting two rules here not to paint the sand on. You could clearly see a line separation between the raw Sienna and the blue. That is where I had applied the cryo online. So this means you can use a backs ground to preserve your paper white. It's also used this technique in your other projects as well, not just Seascapes. So that was 1/6 technique. Now let's go with the next one now on to these two, we're going to try and create light on the water. I have applied even coat off Taylor blue onto the first box. On on the second box, I have applied indigo. So on to the 1st 1 I'm going to drop in some white toward a color on. Let's see what's happening so the background is bet on. The white drops that are applying will automatically spread into the background and create a dull patch on that has right now onto these dull white patches. I'm going to add some taught off white to articular, going with the boulder tone off white on. This is how you create light and water along with these doll Toucan added some lines asphalt to make it more realistic. I'll just wait for this to dry. Meanwhile, I'll go with the next one on once those drives will come back and add in the lines. I'm adding the lines using a wide Children. This will replicate the light hitting the water. I'm starting from the top on taking it towards supporting. I'm adding them only at the murder. The spare the light is hitting on. There we have our 81 where we created light in the water. Now while come back, Toby previous born on at some lines on this one asphalt To make it more realistic, I'll quickly add some taco tones off blue on the top on. That's it. We have all of our eight techniques right there. So these techniques were exclusively to paint water. You can use them in your future projects. Asper. Maybe you could experiment with a different color. I have added in titles for each of these techniques which will make it easier for you. Let's do a quick recap. So this is the kind of ripples we try to create in our third technique on, we will be focusing on this technique more in our upcoming projects. We have an exclusive exercise where we will be attempting these kind of proposals on. We will be adapting the same technique into over main projects, so you can have a reference photograph on try and replicate those kind of patterns so as to make your water look more realistic. And then we try dry brush technique and also we tried how to preserve your people. Why do you think of Axe Crown on? We also tried how to create lighting water. So if you see this picture on my phone, this is the kind off light we try to create in the section. You could use your ripples on the light in water technique together to create a much realistic water just like this picture here. And that was the eight unique techniques. Now let's prove the store next section on me, the class a bit more challenging. 10. Lets Paint Ripples: All right, I have a piece of paper Now. I'm gonna fix this onto the space using a masking tape. Make sure and have strongly fixed the paper onto the base. There is no caps in between. Our next task is to draw these kind of ripples on a boat paper. This has Google images. You can see those light waves in the water. I'm gonna try and draw those kind of shapes to replicate the reports. I'm starting over the wave kind of a shape, and then some media's are making a dinner on some media's. I'm giving some depth. Now. I'm gonna fill up the entire paper with these kind of ripples at irregular intervals. It doesn't need to be an exact interval. Just make sure you're not drawing them too far away from each other. You can start with the wave kind of a shape, and then you could add a thickness to that. Then you can add in some little shapes and between these shape of troubles are always different, but mostly depends on the breeze or the wound, which is hitting the water on the waves. Develop accordingly. At some places, you can draw some bits like this. On some places, you can make a big wave. You could see these are very irregular shapes with a little thickness. There is little cab that I have left inside. So what will be the shape that I'm drawing? I'm giving it a thickness, that's all what I'm doing here. If you wanted to go with more closer waves, you can do that. Asphalt. The way we'll be painting, it's all the same. So if you are somebody who like closer balls, you could do that. I chose to go with farther ripples just because you could see all the details very carefully. In the upcoming paintings, we will be doing closer ripples or right. We have the basic pencils catch. I hope you all have added in your ripples at the bottom. I haven't added much triples. You can leave a tacit er's. We will be painting that area and a solid color, which feel kind off showed the text of the water, and we're also to add some paint onto these on. I'm starting with my Princeton Wash brush, but this brush I'm gonna add, even go the water onto this entire paper. Don't worry if you don't have a wash fresh cool with any bigger size brush that have caught it doesn't really matter if you're using a wash for sure. Not any because sized fresh would work fine. We just need to add and even goto water onto this paper. If you said with the size brush, you will get even goto water. Otherwise the right chances off water getting trapped in little pools. So, Daniel brush do I so tries across the entire people to make sure the cold water your applied as even now I'm switching to a smaller brush. This is Princeton hurt age around size number six brush. You can go with any medium size brush. This is gonna be a monochrome painting where I will be using a single shade. But to state a blue, right, It is a bright blue. You can go with any blew off your choice or you can even use a green asphalt So they have a plan. And even though the water already now I'm going with a very light tone off Taylor blue, which were blue you're going with Go with a lighter tune now around dispenses catch. You need to add in your paint in a baby form. You shouldn't be adding any color onto that pencil sketch. We want that area to be clean without any paint. Just either. Shape in between those ripples living the pencil sketch acid er's as the background is wet . When you apply o paint, it will nicely spread into the background, creating a nice blend. Just be a little careful. Go with the light of doom at the top, the one and only king that you need to keep in mind. It's not to make any pain onto those pencils. Catch and just apply your paint in the in between spaces. Not on top of that. So you have your pencils get in the middle, a little white space around it and then the paint. This will be common for all the ripples. We just continue doing this from the top to bottom. It was just out on the top. It will be a little lighter on as we progress down. We'll go with a bit more taco. Turn off blue. So this is how my ripples are looking at the moment. I have my pencils, kitchen the middle, then I have a little bite of space, and around it I have added the blue color. Now let's progress to the remaining off it. My Bagram layer has dried, so applying another court water there, Onda and I'm applying a light tone of blue around those pencil sketch. You can go with a similar pattern off the pencils gets that you have drawn there. Just apply the paint and those in between spaces, because the Bagram has bet it will automatically blend and create a smooth pattern. There. I'll serve him, though not to take a lot off into a new brush. If there is a lot of pain, just dab it on your people. Trouble on. Remove the excess water from your paint on, then apply. Otherwise, the pain will spread a lot. If you control the water in your paint, you can limit the amount of spreading. And now I'm going with the next tune off the Taylor Blue Red, and I'm gonna apply that or to the partum. We need the bottom media to be bit more Dakhla on the top, so I'm applying that were here, no matter what color Or were Tonio working with, Always remember to leave those pencils catch Lassiter's don't makes any paint onto those catches. Once we're done, adding paint onto this in between spaces, we will come back to those pencil sketch on. We will detail it out, but the doctor tone or the same blue looks like my background layer has dried the pain that I'm applying as having a sharper edge. It is not so soft, so the easy fix as to go with a clean layer of water on top of it. But we'll fix everything if you remember in the previous class. Also, we had done this quick fix to our water ripples whenever you water ripples are not looking soft on bond small. You can go with a coat of water on it. Make sure the water that you're using also the brush your using is clean Now you could add and more taco tunes if needed. And that's the trick. A clean cold water can fix all your reports, even if they are not small tor, they have dried or they haven't landed. Probably, ah, clean go. The water can fix everything, so don't be scared at all paint without any fear. And I'm very sure by the end of decision, you all are going to have a stunning triple painting. I was so happy and proud to see all the monochrome triple paintings from over beginner class it off who had done a great job with that exercise. And I'm quite sure this time also, you all are going to kneel this politicalization on the upcoming paintings. We are going to adapt the same exercise and a much more challenging way. Now I'm gonna go with the Bordeaux tone off yellow blue, and I'm gonna apply that over the bottom. You can go with any bigger size. Fresh, flat around. Doesn't matter. On just applied till here, where we had sketched the last couple at the very bottom line, I'm making it much more Boulder. Well, with the brightest own off blue that you're using then applied over the bottom line, we need a bride blew over the bottom line. When you link the bottom line bright and dark, it'll give a feel that this much closer to you on the other end where we had added all those lighter two on two ripples. It will give a feel that that is so far. How by mistake my brush. Touch the people. It's fine. I'll just fix it. Okay? I just had to paint over that mental sketch. But don't worry, it's fine. I'm gonna light a much more taco blue and department. I think I'll make some ripples which are closer to the bottom. Also, bit more docker and switching to my size. Number six strong brush on here. I have a people trouble whenever you're taking the paint on your brush that the brush on your paper towel two or three times so that the paper trouble will absorb the excess water on the lines that you're applying on the paper wound spread a lot. Looks like my Bagram has. Right? So I'm gonna apply even goto water at this line where I'm applying the doctor ripples. Okay. Just like hobby discussed. I'm taking paint on my brush than having a ton of people travel to remove the excess water on. Then I'm applying the taco ripples. Only a does areas closer to reporter. It will look more beautiful when you have a smooth and gradual creedy int. The top needs to be very light. As you progress down go the next tone and then once you reach the bottom, go with the boulders doing off blue. I made some of their polls, which are closer to the bottom, but more brighter. I think. I think I'll just make the bottom line a little more boulder. Such a gorgeous blue right? I'm literally in love with this color. If you can. It would be nice to invest on a teleplay. Red, you're going to love this color. Trust me, all right. My Bagram has dried. Just make sure it's completely dried. We're going to add, though. Details. I'm using the same brush that I was using before this is from Princeton. Headed eight cities around Crush size. Number six. If you want to switch toe are detailing Brush. Please do that on I'm just running my brush or ward a ripple lines, which we had drawn with our pencil. It's not complicated. Don't be scared. We already have the pencil lines. I'm just joining my brush on top of the pencil line, literally coping what I have drawn with my pencil. Then we sketched those ripple patterns. It wasn't a solid lines. It was kind of an outline where we had left a little thickness in between. So when you are running your brush on top off those pencil sketch do the same, like how we did with our pencil lead some people right in between the new or drawing those patterns. You could see how I have done it here and now. I'm going to repeat the same exercise and finish the remaining off those patterns. Go with the pointed brush. Meet your lines very thin and sharp on. Leave those little paperwhite in between your patterns. You need to trust me. Here. Just go with 100% confidence and running operation top off those patterns and doesn't matter if some off your patterns are not looking nice at the end. It is going to look beautiful. I can deal on that. The only thing you need to keep in your mind as you need to draw these patterns in a baby manner, it shouldn't be straight sharp line. It's okay if you forgot to add those fights space. At some lines, it doesn't matter. And the end. As I said, it's all going to be fine. So go ahead, brew on top off all those Spencer lines, which we have added, there some areas you can make your line ticker and some areas you can make it thinner variable. You can leave a little white space, and between the sites of the people that I'm drawing here is just half off a four. So the patterns that we are adding que doesn't really matter have over you drew it at the end. It's all going to look fine. But then, when you are switching to a larger size like a three or a two, you have to really concentrate on these patterns. You can take reference from riel photographs like those photographs, which I shared in the beginning up decision on trying up. So the rial patterns which are happening on the water and maybe you can't replicate that. So what you see on the left and the right is the same photograph one I turned into black and bite just toe. See the shapes better. Similarly, you can take a photograph and replicate those patterns, and this exercise here beaten really co into that detail. But if you want to make your water look more realistic, you can go to that extent. Andi draw your patterns in a similar way. How it appears and drill. It will add more realism to your painting. You can play with more tunes and those realistic patterns. It will make a lot of impact. A new painting as well. Last on your loaning. No pressure if you're interested. Whenever you get time, try and Google for a really picture of water where you can see all this triple patterns on try and replicate the same way you see that on the photograph. I'm quite sure it's going to help you a lot, anyway. I'm almost done without in the patterns. I think I lied to fume or at the Porto, and then I will be done with it. So far, I'm happy with Ward. I have caught on my paper. Maybe I should do a little more closer pulled next time. No mine. That is what our next exercise is all about. More closer polls and more reflections on patterns. Andi, I'm done without. In all those triples and patterns, I'm gonna quickly bill of the masking tape. This is one of my favorite things to do. Andi, I have got a clean line there. Let's try the other side. Okay, All of the four sides are looking clean and I'm quite happy with the outcome. I really loved this blues. This is the only shade that I used at Stella Blue Red from the brand Rembrandt, This has become one off my current favorites. It's a bomb blew. I know. I'm repeating this 20 time. Anyway, we have finished our painting there. You have all the reports. If you want, you can add more reports on between. You can drill, use the cap, the only the news. You should have a gradual creating to decorate the bottom and as you go to the top, should be lighter. This one I tried with Turk guys. I hadn't left much whiter space in between. That is the only thing I regret about button on this wonder. Ripples are much closer than would be tried now. So go ahead and experiment with different shades. Maybe you can use to shades. You could go with a blue and it'll Christ together on create a more dramatic pattern. So I have given you all the ideas. Now let's go ahead with our next project, where we will be painting a much more interesting 60 11. The Cruise Boat - Part 1: All right. So the premise exercise. We tried this tripled water. We played with different tones off the same sheet, leaving some white space in between. Now we're going to adapt this technique into other painting, so I have taken a piece of paper here. This is arches, cold pressed paper, which is born 40 l b on. I'm gonna fix this paper onto this place. I always love to fix my paper onto a base so that I have the flexibility to move the paper around. If I fix on the table, then I may have toe lead for it to dry, and I cannot tilt or do anything onto it. No, I'm gonna fix the paper onto the base using a masking tape. Make sure all your wages are nicely and strongly taped because we'll be playing with a lot off water. That means there are multiple layers of water involved in this technique. And you don't want the porter to seep in through and create a dirty. And just if you need to get a nice clean it, just make sure your paper has taped onto your base properly. But are nothing goes across all the edges on. Also using a good quality tape also helps on the paper is properly fixed. One to the base on this was from other sketchbook practice. I will be going with the glacier boat like this for about this exercise. Just ah, half a foot. Like how we tried here on. I'm going to start by the pencil sketch from starting with a straight line. You can draw this line a little below the centre off the paper if you divide the paper into half. So the slyness almost a little below the center of the paper. Now I'm going with an inclined line which goes a little beyond the line. Be true. And now I'm gonna connect that point to the straight line with another inclined line. Andi, I'm gonna resolve that remaining little area there and there we have the basic profile off for a boat. Now I'm gonna add a lying cure on at the border. Masterful. Now, the next step is to add that captain on the top. I'm just starting a shape like those onto that. I'm gonna add some windows one right here on maybe three or four more in the same size. Andi There you go. Now I'm gonna add a straight line here. And then from there I'm gonna connect another line from that point in an inclined manner, and then take it down till here. Now, I'm gonna add a tube here. It's that air inflated. So Clarke tube, draw the outer circle and then an inner circle, leaving some space inside. And there you have your water tube. Now I'm gonna are the rope, which looks like just tied onto that board on some details were here on some tiny bits over here and some more lines on the top off the boat and one flag over here. So all those tiny details will add more life to your boot. All these will make your boat look more realistic. Um, adding some boxes here, which means all the strings are tied on to that and we have over sketch right there. Now, the next task is to ardent reflection. We need to identify ah, basic shape of the reflection on. We need to draw that. So if you're considering still water which is not moving at all, you will get a clean line which is just a mirror image off your port and here to give a little drama toe over water. I'm considering the water to be moving on. That's why I'm going with this irregular shapes. So consider the basic profile off your reflection. That means consider the basic shape off your boot, which will be the mirror image of pat on the water on then around that shape, you just need to add in these irregular shapes, given irregular shape like this. And don't worry, we'll be coming back to those by we add in the color. We just need to get a rough idea off how the reflection is going to be, and you can stick to a similar shape for your reflection on. I have a jar off clean water here, and I have my mixing palette. Jaspal. We discussed about the colors in detail on I will Be using on It Love Taylor Blue for my sky on something green for the reflection on marine blue for the water. On Those are the three main shades that I will be using. And here's my Princeton Wash Push. This is from the Velvet Touch, Sadie. Senators three by four Let's start by applying a light tint off Taito blue on the sky. I'm going with tall. Why don't dry to click? I'm applying a little brighter shade on the top on. Then I'm going to bring down the creedy into a lighter to as I come down, We just need a bright tone on the top on. As we come down, you can use water and make the tone lighter. Give it a very nice creedy in to wash. If you can try and omit the board on even for a little get mixed into that port area, It is okay, because the tone that we're applying over here has been light. So this is where my horizons and I wanted the lighter stone possible over here because after this, I will be going with marine blue and the rest off it will be Moran glue. So where those two close meat, which is my horizon, I wondered a very light toe over there. Now I'm going but Marine blue again. Nobody like Toto. It can be a little dry toe over the border. And as we go up when we are almost reaching the horizon, make it as light as possible. Introductory US Marine blue. You can either Covert took eyes or tiltrotor Cai's Andi interrupted fellow blue. You can use Prussian blue, our ultra marine blue or cobalt blue. That's also fine. So I have reached the horizon area and I'm making it lighter. Try and get the cries and area a smooth plant. We don't want to see any shark lines there. I feel the water needs to be under two more pricier at the bottom, so I'm adding a little more off brighter toe at the bottom. It was just a late realization. So if you are stalking, you can make your water brighter at the bottom, and then, as you go up on when you are meeting the horizon, you can make it lighter. We need a seamless blend between the sky and the water, so make it as light as possible. Once you reach the horizon line, you just need to worry about the horizon. Line that area. You need to get a clean and a small to blend the rest off it. We will be adding more details on the water, so the school Okay, if the blend is not small time perfect at the water, there will be more reflections and details that will be adding on top off it. All right, so that the base layer now I'm switching to a round brush. This is a round brush size number six from transfer inherited feedings. Andi, I'm taking a very light tone off marine blue. If you are using to Kaizar, tell a turquoise you can use a lighter tone off that at this point, it is very important to have a people trouble because you will need to remove excess water from your brush. Controlling the water content in your brush is really important. Violent Ardan does ripples and waves, so have your paper travel on your hand on Dabney brush to three times to remove the excess water. This way, you can control the spread off your paint if you watch closely when I'm applying these lines here, it is not spreading ants marching a lot. The spread of the pain is limited to a very little area on. We have a control on the way the pain is spreading, so it is very important to remove the excess water from your brush. And I'm adding these lines at this whore ison. Make sure it is very light on as you come down. You can make those lines brighter and bolder over the horizon. These lines should be closer to each other on and very light in color. The reflection that we drew it is not possible at the moment because we had a lot off layers on top off it. Just have a rough idea in your mind how we draw them on. You can just for Mitt those eight ers value add in these triple lines. I'm deliberately leaving those area right underneath the port. When I'm adding thes lines. Make your lines docker As you come to home, it can be a bit more ticker, Aspelin. So the idea that I left for the reflection it was not exactly in the shape that we drew It doesn't matter at this point, so don't worry a lot about it. Just don't add any Darko to enter dot area. That is only thing you need to be careful about. Now keep adding those reports, leaving a little space in between because we don't need to fill up the entire light or background. We want to see Todd Asper. This is what will give your water more realistic. Look, no matter which color you went with, veteran, it is still a turquoise or turquoise or brushing blue or any brew for your water. Just keep adding the ripples lighter tone at the top on as you come down, make a darker on. Also make the lines thicker, but make sure to leave a little off space in between all those lines. This will give you a border. Look, I feel that it is moving and that's it. With the report now, I'm gonna proceed to the reflection. We cannot have them here on toe. Add the reflection. I'm going with Taylor Green. You can go with Viridian Green Aspar. Now just blend these shades and give it a nice a look instead of the composed blue that I used here you can go with any light based on blues are you can mix a little of white with your turquoise blue and get us some low shed. You can use your guys blue, cobalt, turquoise or guys green. There are so many options, or if you want to go with an entirely different color that is also up to you were painting the borders. Three sections. We added a light to look green line at the bottom, and then you have your main body in a pistol. Blue tone on. You could see how easy it is for me to apply color onto this area because I had applied that masking tape. I don't need to worry at all. I can just blindly try my color. So use this hack and cover up your wooden dog so that you can also apply pain just like me . And remember to apply the darker lines only closer to the dog. We need the rest off it to be lighter. So just are you Doc? You don't at this line on there, we have our base layer. In the next section, we will be focusing on the reflections. 14. Blue boat at the dock - Reflections: So we have our Baisley already there on. Everything has dried properly. Now we're going with our reflection. This is Marine Blue, the Darko tune off Marine blue And then this one as royal blue by TWC aching. So I'm wondering which one to go with for the recollections. Okay, I have decided to go with Marine Blue. I'm sweating to the detailing brush this a size number two again from Princeton hurt eight cities. It's around, crush on. I'm loading my brush with Marine Plouffe, a taco tone off Marine blue on first, I'm going to draw a basic shape of the reflection. And then I will go ahead by adding paint onto that entire reflection shape that I will be trying now. Okay, let's begin. So I have a rough idea how my reflection should be. I'm not going to the same profile off the port on considering my water to be moving a little so that the shape of my reflection will also move along. So it won't be a perfect mirror image, which will be the darker tone you selected in our color study. Who can go with that? I'm using marine blue here on using my detailing brush. I'm drawing the outer shape off my reflection. You just need to have a rough idea. Have your reflection is going to be now. Consider that profile on adding your outline. You cannot tiny baby lines like this. You will need a little off patients here because you're working with a retailing brush on. It will take a while to finish the entire profile off your reflection. Focus on any off the one side, either left or right on. Try and draw the entire profile off that side. Then you can go with the next side. Don't try and Jim between right and loved. You could see how slowly and carefully I'm adding these lines once we have the profile than it is much easier. So when you're drawing the outer profile, be little careful. I'm almost done with the left profile. I will be coming back and adding tiny details later. Now I'm switching to this portion. There, we need to add a buddy talk tune. This area is right underneath the boot on. It should be much darker once you have got a doctor line, then you can dip your brush in water on to make the tone lighter. The side looks fine. Now over to the right side. Aspen. I'll add some more taco tunes. Then I will be switching toe te lo green on. We have the left profiled. Ready. Now I'm switching to my size. Number six fresh. Andi, I'm going with little off yellow green and I'm adding that color over here. This would be the middle off. The reflection once I have taken this color a little more down than I'll go back with Marine blue a cane and then add the right profile. If you don't have Taylor green, you can use for it in green are you can use a light you don't off blue asper in sort of green. That is also okay. Absolutely little quarter on taking. Bringing the tone town I wonder like toe shade here now one switching back to my detail in brush on going back to marine blue, nodding the right profile. You can go with any kind of dark blue that have caught as I mentioned. You can either use Interco or even threshing blue will work Now you can add in your right profile with a Darko tune over the side as the Bagram layer stood back. When you're applying paint, it would directly blend into the background, living a nice bluish screen at that marching finds on the reflection is starting to take a proper shape. Now I'm switching to rile blue. Andi, I'm gonna add my final details using this color again. You can go with any taco tune off blue that have got it doesn't really need to be royal blue or marine Clue. I'm adding all those tiny details you think of shade. It's good to go with the detail ing brush. Otherwise your lines won't be this fine, so I would recommend to go. But detailing, fresh to add in all these tiny details, just adding some random lines closer to that reflection, which I added. It's kind of a broken line, buddy. Tiny ones. I learned a few more off these kind of lines on left and right. A few more or the side you could see it is very fine lines. I'll add some more over here on the that I will be done with the reflection off the board. Now I will be adding the reflection off that rude and posed the lines that I added a still possible. I will be following a similar pattern for the reflection off. This wouldn't post right underneath. Those were imposed. I'm going with so color patterns on as I come down, I'll just reduce the length off those lines on. I've allowed some fine lines, just like how I added for the reflection of the boat on that certain, maybe you could add in some fine lines on either side. If you like, you could add one more. Wouldn't post these kind of elements at a lot of beauty to your painting. Next words leftist the reflection off these ropes. I'm gonna add that for this one, it would be along this direction asked. The reflection is always an a mirror image just at his exact line. A very fine line. Andi, For this one, it would be in this orientation. I'm gonna act, Tatton. Because the water, the reflection and everything is looking so similar. All right, let's go with a brighter blue. The stay low blue. I'm going the bright toe off that color on. I'm gonna apply that onto this boat. Make sure your bathroom layers has dried before you go with the boot. We don't want any color too smart into the water. I want the left side of the boat to be very bright and bold. The right side. I'll make it little lighter. I'm making the left side due more brighter. It is just that the water glow tends to fade in lesser than everything gets tried. So you can't really trust the color. When the paper is right, you always get a tone which is lighter to what you see on the Clipper when everything was fat. So if you want a brighter tone, you have to go with an extra bright to infest so that once a dries, you have a brighter tone now with the same shade. I'm just writing few lines onto this. It was just fuel rough lines and applying to this wet background just to create some more textures on it. I'm just making this top line also a little brighter. Now with the same shade. I think I'll go with a wooden post fist because the other players on the board has to dry. I'm applying a flat Marshall branzino onto the shape which we had drawn. If you are drawing on a because kill, maybe you could add one more food and post maybe a little more Tyler one. It will look really nice with the reflection on all that. Now I'm going with a darko tonal brown. I'm just mixing little off pains. Great and to bond sina our bathroom. There's still that now onto that Tibet background. You can just dab in some taco brown just on the left side, because we are focusing all the talk or tones to be on the left side. We are considering the light is hitting on the right on all the shadows, and darker tones are happening on the left side. You can make the top portion. Also little darker. Andi. Now I'm taking a light on off pain scream. I'm just feeling that color over here. This is the base off the boat. I'm going with a great tune. You can go with any color off your choice. It doesn't necessarily need to be Payne's Gray Buchanan, Togo with brown are some different blue. Anything is fine. Now I'm switching to the wooden slats. That's the only thing left on the boat. I'm taking Bond Xena, now full of those wooden slats and bonds seen up once this layer has dried, will be going with the Darko tune to show the thickness off these wooden slats before we go into the final details of the boat. Let's wait for everything to dry. Meanwhile, let's focus on the wood and talk. I'm going to remove the masking tape on. I hope my stroke has worked. Yes, that looks clean.
