About This Class

d2c8c90b

With this Skillshare class you will have the most awesome sauce opportunity to explore watercolor resist painting. Watercolor is a great medium because its fast and fun to work with. The results can be from completely unexpected to a controlled picture. So its right to say it is an easy yet versatile medium.

Resist Painting allows you to uncover an area on the paper which you can save from the pigment and create very surprising and beautiful paintings. The most fun part is when everything is dry and you start to peel of that masking fluid to uncover the magic you have created. It definitely is my most favorite watercolor technique. So enroll now!

My name is Taniya and I will guide you through this fun process! So, lets get started!

Together we will cover the following in the class videos:

- Introduction

- Supplies

- Basic Techniques

- Painting your subject with resist (Negative Painting)

- Painting highlights with resist

- Painting with resist and a nib pen

So, bring out that bottle of masking fluid and lets start exploring!

It was t...
