About This Class

082b3cf2

A quick and easy class on painting a side profile portrait. This class focuses on watercolor painting of a girl of color, so I will be focusing on the coloor swatches you will use for the skin and how to paint textured african hair in an effortless way.

I will demonstrate easy brush strokes for different features and how to have movement in your shadows. All you will need are two brushes, preferable a size 2 and 4 brush; a set of watercolor paints and clean water. For paper you can use standard watercolor sheets or heavier paper that is better for such mediums as markers, ink and watercolors.

Anything Is Possible

Hello everyone, my name is Sharon Mapuvire and I'm a freelance fashion designer based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Skillshare team invited me to be a part of the teaching community and I felt it would be a great platform to share my skills and talent because I have developed ways of creating designs through computer programs in easy ways applicable to anyone. Making it possible for anyone to design whatever they have in mind without ever knowing how to draw.
