About This Class

In this class, we will painting watercolor floral motifs including blooms, leaves and additional elements. We'll play with brightness and contrast in Photoshop and then create three different pieces of art together in Illustrator:

  1. a loose bouquet
  2. a more formal still life
  3. a repeating pattern

I've cover each step in detail so everyone from beginners to more advanced students should enjoy this class.

I'm very excited to share these skills with you. You can turn your loose bouquet into a beautiful Mother's Day card. You can sell your still life as an art print or give it to friends as a gift. And you can create products from your pattern design! All three of the pieces you create have so many uses!

Please join me and let's get started!

This was a great, easy to grasp class! Love the way Anne was able to create different art from one flower idea.
Fun class and fast-paced! Anne gets you going on creating and playing with your art. And shows how the same little elements can create wildly different results. Nice!

Anne LaFollette

Illustrator & Pattern Designer

Hi everyone!

I'm Anne and it's nice to meet you!

After a long career in the corporate world, I got laid off! Instead of seeing that as a disaster, I decided it was a sign that it was finally time for ME. I dusted off all of my old art supplies and a new career in illustration and pattern design emerged!

I love to create pretty patterns and floral illustrations are my jam!  Sharing my tips and techniques with students here on Skillshare ...
