Hello, I'm Jingru Li,

I began studying painting in high school in 1998 and later graduated with a degree in graphic design in 2004 before founding her own photographic studio in 2005.

I developed a artist studio and Serenity Gallery in Upper Ferntree Gully at the Gateway to the Dandenong Ranges in Australia.

I has 4 years of experience teaching painting classes,

Being good at dividing complex painting methods into simple steps makes it easier for students to understand and use painting techniques, and it is also very important to develop their own inner sensibility.

I hopes to share my experience with everyone,

More people can have fun from painting.

1. Introduction: Hi, my name is Jane. Nice to see you here. I'm an art teacher and in Melbourne, Australia, I had five years of experience teaching watercolor, enjoying art classes in my studio. I think on being good and dividing complex painting men thought into simple steps makes is easier for students to understand and use painting techniques. My artwork is also printed as postcards, green cards, bags, and post as well, which can be seen in many gifts shops in Melbourne and some online shops. I hope to share my experience with everyone. More people can have fun with the painting. I try many different art materials, like acrylic or your painting, color, pencil, but watercolor, It's my favorite one. The first time I painted with the watercolors, I was surprised by this medium. As the painting quickly move across the paper. And it's all about water. Water color. It's very forgiving, median. That's what I like. From precise to loose style. This course will help you to start churning of watercolor. So if you're a complete beginner, don't worry. You will learn a series of basic skills. You will about pre preparation materials and many techniques like washers, painting wet on wet and wet on dry. Blending or layering colors, leaving whitespace off your paper, lifting color, adding textures to your paintings. For some techniques. They are a variety of ways to achieve the desired impact. Like I'm making. It's a different style. I don't believe there's just a one way or one technique this world work for everyone. But I would like Coleridge from you to try it and choose what you like. The video will show you the technique with a step-by-step and help you practice. I have a private Facebook group with my students or very friendly. You can join me and share your practice. And you can also see other students artworks and get to new to encouragement. Then I work you beat back every time to help you progress. I will also upload that reference photos in the group folder. You can download and reference at any time. If you don't join, it's okay. You can get help through email sharing. And after learning the course, you might get one of the keys to grow in confidence and start churning of watercolor. I like pentene, natural things like flowers, landscapes, lens, animals. I will show you more about this in different course. Having fun is the key or the time. Enjoying the painting process will make you want to spend more time to tenting. Enjoying the process will keep you motivated and help you build your skills. The things that help you relax and enjoy the process. If you are in trusting my class, welcome to join us and in time. So let's get started. Hope to see you in class. Okay. 2. Art materials: Hi everyone. Welcome to my class. So today I won't go into show you some of who are up to materials, what I'm using. And first show you is my most used, my favorite one. That's its brand name. Yet, if you are interested in this one, you can search on lie. On. This actually is 24 colors. But the middle area is I add a different brand. So that's the kind of different colors set? Yes. So the loss of color almost empty. Yeah. So that's if you like, try this way, you can do so that's an looks. It's over 24 colors. Just plan why. It looks so many. And some color looks same. Similar here because I already used empty finish one and this is another one. This is a tube. Yeah, I'm use this one to add color when I because I have some colors, my favorite color and use a lot that this is all good brand from Japan. Yeah. So this is a lot of like coping in the crane color. It's all very beautiful color here. Pretty color. Pretty good. And so that's a different brand and this Bragg is same. Primase. I show you these books yet 24. That is olive green. It's my, one of my favorite color. And this also my, another theory color, It's ultramarine blue. So that's if you interesting, use the same brand with me, you can try. Yes. So does this ultramarine blue, and this is dark blue. And in another video, I will show you more about color mixing. Yes, so this is same brand and this is 24. And you can see so many color. Yeah. So that's the same brand. And they separate very clear. Like cool yellow to red and green and blue. Yeah. So there's so many color in yellow. That's all my every style. So before I use lots of different brand like Walmart and some cheaper brand there. But right now, I most of time to use just use like That's few brand. Yeah, that's all my therapy stuff. And and I will show you this yet. This is another one is the 36 set, yet also Japanese brand. But you can see almost finish. Yeah. Or in particular, you can see I use lots on I'm going to show you what I'm using. Pencil year when I, or jarring some contrast the line and some subject is complicated. So I use the pencil drawing first. So this is a round brushes here, so that's number 6 and number 12. That's useful in lots of my Baidu. Yeah, This brand is, you can see these brand. Yeah, I've been there. And in the watercolor brush, you can see lots of different size. But high suggests is to select a few. Size, is a not like this one is mop brush. It's time my theory, one brush here, so many favorites. And this one, these two brushes I use a lot in the beak size paper in the very wet style. Yeah. Wet on wet technique. And if you have another brush, different shape with the mean, it's okay. Because just make sure you have different size of brush. This is a waterproof pen, yet size isn't 01. That is very useful when I'm drawing something. Yet this is my theory. One. Another one that's is Chinese brush. You can see very good point and top of the brush yet. So that's when I do some detail. The very be very good. Lie and shut. And the very soft. So that's my palettes. Actually, I get this one from my teaching. Yes. So very good quality. Yeah. So it's not the plastic? Yeah. So plastic is not good for mixing? Yeah. And this one is very good when I'm mixing color on the top. It's very clear to see the color. Yeah. So that is my favorite one. If you have just different in shape in your kitchen, if you can find it, you can try it. Here. Is much better than the plastic. Yeah. And I like the Without like Coase separate area yet because I like get more different color and like a great color. Yeah. So that's so I I really like this one. I used this one for few years here. So I'm going to show you this. My sponge here in looks dirty. But actually because I used the four years. Yes. Same with my mum and other things. Yeah. And this is very useful one, I want to clean my brush. I will clean the spongy first after go to the water. So that's can be keep my water clean for awhile. Yeah. So for a long time. Yeah. I don't need always to change and the change. So right now look sturdy half mile border because I painted lots of before this video. Yeah. So that's all my february stuff. If you have this basic things thinking you can stop or one more thing. It's a spring board. Oh yeah, this is also very useful. So you can see when you start the painting, maybe your append to dry a little bit. Yeah. I always get my pen first before I start to tenting. So that's very useful. And that's how me very easy to get color. And this one is masking tap. Yeah. So when you do the very or like a wet on wet, that one can be re the paper on the table or on the board? Yes. So that's the mean can help you the paper out the width, style, the not get the Barkow on there yet. So end. Very good. Impact is when after you remove the masking tab, you will get the very good like Oh, framing feelings. Yeah. So that's very good for this one, but it's not necessary. Yeah, If you like this beauty, you can try incidences or if you want to start with basically with the watercolor, yet, that's all what do you need? Yes, So another class here, let me show you another materials. And one thing is very important is paper. Yes, so I'm showing right now this one is smooth paper, yet like cost 300 grams and lots of different column paper you can choose, but I suggest you use or like smooth and the rough one, you can try both because they were, you're painting the different subject. We need to use a different paper because they get the texture are different. Yeah, So like this is smooth. Hey, PR, if you want to painting really in details, this is a good one. End or so wet on wet. Yeah. So you can see the surface is very smooth and no hole in there if the rocks rough paper is wizard is offset with this smooth paper. Yeah. So I will show you some of painting today and show you what I'm tend to in the morning. Yes. So that is you can see the color mixing, blending very smooth. Yeah, gradually. So does this smooth paper. Yet there's also smooth paper because the reasoning I contain lots of painting. Use this paper here so you can see the color of gradually very natural and not too much you texture from the paper. And rock paper if you want painting some glyco, glyco, ocean, surface of ocean that you can use a little bit dry brush to up the speed. Yes. So you will get the texture I like cause ocean surface, that's very interesting. Yeah. Okay. So that's another thing like some color pencil? Yes. This is not watercolor pencil. Yeah. Just a color pencil. It's a Leica. Use a different art material. Sometimes. Yeah. Another clock class. I will show you this one. Yeah. I think that that's all. That's all. What do you need? Yes. So hopefully you can enjoy to start with watercolor. Yep. Thank you. To watching. 3. Watercolor gradient: Hi everyone. Nice to see you again. Will come to join my class. Today. I'm going to show you how to do the practice with the water color gradient. And first, I'll show you what I'm using in this video. Yeah, kind of brush number 12 and the number six. And it's a round brush in the paper is a 5180 grams. And you can see first, I started with a neutral marine blue in with the dark color. And this one, if you want to get too dark color in watercolor, you just controlled ratio of water with pigment. Like in this color. I just less water and more paint will get dark color and go to the right side. I want get the more light color. So that's I add more water into it so that I can get more water. And if you want, get the dark color, you can go back to it, more intense color to the wet area. So sometimes if they already dry. So the infant deaths time and the more color, they will be look-alike. Different Lupo. Yes, so sometimes if you want, this doom looks smooth and like a gradient. So that's time Union, the controlled to time and to feel the paper. How witness with it. So you can see why I tried different color to make dark to light the fueling or little bit different. Because actually we can't control or exactly to control the water with the pen. Yes, so but we can know about the basic things that can help us to try to separate the light in the dark. And sometimes you can start with a light color to a dark color with a warm pigment. And individualism, the yellow color, It's a little bit can't see clear about Ward color gradient. Yes. So but you still can see the left side is darker and this one is paper because it's wrong. So I just want show you in the different paper the, what they look like yet. So you can see the very clear and easy to get dark, to light and smoothly. And because this paper size is much smaller than the before. And the sum look is the light like this green color. Because I first start with this color, It's already light one. So that's showing you use a different color to get these feelings. And think of for beginner. Trying to do this practice. Very helpful. You feel after you won't try the different subject. Yeah, so you can see in the different software and maybe they need to get the light and dark area. Yeah. Like it depends on the light source. Get the shadow planes. Yeah. So this is a watercolor is very special things. They can use the warm color to make a different liberal. So debts are in. We're going to show you another subject. It's how if you, when you finish the first practice, you can try to do this practice. And this subject is much simple, I think isn't very suitable for beginner to practice. And you can see I still start with the blue color. And don't worry about what do you have. Maybe you your color different with mine. It's okay. You can just use what do you have? So you can see I did a little bit light and dark, like left-side, lighter and right side darker and I can add more pigment into it, make shadow place. So you can see in the video the still wet and the someplace I can leave a little bit of whitespace look like a highlight and tried to different color. So if you want the two blues now connect each other, you can try and make they can bleed each other to each other. That's well-being in trusting. You can get more color if you try this way. So you can see I still use the same technique. You're still warm color. And the sum tried to more pure, add more color, more water and some area height just make intense common. So that's looked like this. Blue. It's not let. And when you try to do this subject and the first, think about the composition. Yes, So maybe some place you want, look busy and some place you want look more empty. Yes. So thats is more good balance and contrast. So and if you try some color, you few, you like it. You can try to do more this cut of this color. And if you don't want try that bloom, you can just think about these things. May be different, the shape, triangle or square or good. So that's, I'm trying not to cover its red one. And the someplace I leave the white gap for the two between the two plumes. Someplace. I try to connect them. So that's give the mic more color. And the one we do, the watercolor sometimes is some color. It's mixed by our self. And the sum is by mixing by the self. So you can see the keep doing the mixing work on the paper. So sometimes I just placed color in to the paper. And second step is they will work by the cell. And so that's, we can get more and more color into the painting. So dense, it's very interesting in where you use the word color. So sometimes if we own the standard basic things, it's means we can control them. But something we can just give them a goal. Yeah. So like, Oh, allow them to make them more and more different things. So debts, I start to drawing with my pen. So that's waterproof pen. But they, if they still wet the count drawing on the top. And because my painting is like learn together, I want tied them together. So that's I do some live and connected to each other. And I tried to join some different things like tiny leaves around these loom. So if you can see the top of the painting, the allots, different color, they look already believed to each other. So you can see the yellow one, the entire little bit purple color inside. And the Bolton of yellow, the green color connect with the yellow area. So get you look rain. So that's why I like watercolor. Because the some work is, I do, some work is by the self. So I just add some dots to make interesting. And some place. If you feel too empty, you can add more things. It just drawing what, what you like. And it's done matter. What do you want to join or you don't want jarring. It's okay. Because some people they more like drawing, some people they more like painting. And and the one God tips is like, oh, you can see I spring the dot and put on the Neith, another pen on the need of the brush so that it's easy to control. Where I want put dots. And just to help this painting the consumer fears yet go to this kind of feelings. And the 12, this step I feel a little bit not enough, the dark color, so I add some dark brown. And when you try to play with water colors, maybe you, you will find these kind of things is what color when they dry. They little bit lighter than in the process where you're painting? Yes. So that's sometimes we don't worry about the color is too strong or too dark. You would just control these size and the shape. Yeah. Because when they draw it a little bit lighter. But different brand different pigments are all little bit different. Yeah. So sum is like transparency pigment. Sum is maybe a little bit opaque color. So it's all a little bit different. We needed to try and get more experience, bound them. So that's within the more practice, practice and more get more familiar with them. So that's where you do the very simple things. Subject still can get very good watercolor feelings. So this things is just show you how to practice whether water color gradient and give you some clear steps and tips. And I'm happy to see you practice if you want to share with me. This is what I want to share with you in this class. Thank you for your watching. I hope you like it. And in Troy to the practice, I hope to see you next time. 4. Watercolor basic color mixes: Hi everyone. Nice to see you again in here. And today I'm going to show you about color mixing. Yes, so very basic things. So very good too. For beginner. And I still use the My to brush number 12 and 6. Yes. So deaths show you in the video. And first, I grew up some blue and still start with a primary color. Yeah. Because I feel though we try to learn more about color mixing is start with the three primary color. It's very good, very helpful because the three primary color, we can get more and more color. So that's first I painting the angle. Yes. So that's one you can see inside. They have some light color inside and a little bit dark color around the corner. Yeah. So actually you can control even in the one shape, which one, which area you want to be darker and which area you won't be lighter? Yes. So that's if you were on the stand about water, you can control them. So this yellow color, It's hard to separate the light and the dark area. So this third one, I start do the red one and read one. So you can see I always start with the edge area and go to the inside. This is helping me to control the shape. You know, the watercolor shape. Well, we painting one shape and after we finished, the edge normally is already come out here. So if we want the look smooth and not raphe, so that's we should be R. Remember to make the edge areas MOOC. Okay, So that's, I go back to grab some yellow. And if you can see the video little bit different, it's this one. This yellow. I add a little bit more water than another one. Yes. So that's looks lighter than before. Okay. So there's I'm mixing with the red. You can see the little bit the area they touch each other. So they can allow water through another side. Yes. So that's we get orange color in the middle area. So this is interesting. You can see I'm not tried to blending them on the paper, adjust the place the color in there. So that's I go into the third color. Yes. So seeing previously, it's a blue one. And the same way I given the little bit area to connect each other. So that's we will get the purple inside. And this one is my little bit crew read. So we will get there really dark purple here, so you can see a lot of color inside. Actually. Yeah. If we gave the more time and they're working by yourself and get more and more color inside. That's easy to think why we like it, because a lot of surprise things always happened. Okay, So that's I added some like apple green. So you can see that between the different color, the Maker, very different color here. So that I go back, use the yellow to paint another shape, like a circle. And I still start with a single shape yet without connect each other. And if you want try to painting like this. Ah, circle. Yeah, you can use it this way. If you you don't want it too dark, you can use the brush to lift some color from the paper to get like one. So thats is very small tips in the word color. Yeah. So I have a lot of tips to want to share with you in the future class. Okay, so you can see this blue one. It's made some light areas and dark areas if you want the shape and look like a more 3D. So you can use this way and have another one. You can leave some whitespace like highlight. Yes, So today, I'm not leave the whitespace, but in watercolor or debts isn't very useful technique. Leave some whitespace. So that's one you can see my right side much lighter than the blue one. So that's this more 3D than the blue one. Okay. So that's, I go back, start with you to marine blue. And I'm trying to make another one. It's a small one. So you can see my brush and place is much darker than another y's start. Yes. So that is our small steepness again. Yes. So that's in the corner. If you want to make looks darker, you can stay for a while in there. They can get them more color from the brush king. So that's I add another circle close to the blue one so it can see the already slowly to blending each other. Police cell. Yeah. It's really like co-founders come out. And the same time I do another airport grain around the yellow. And this sometimes is depends on the how many water they have. Maybe is a green one much more water. So when they connect to each other. So green one will be through into the yellow one. Yeah. So if we yellow one, they have more water than the green one. So that's its opposite. So if we understand some basic things, we can control something. Yeah, in a watercolor style, when needed, tried to give up something. But we can control something. Okay, so that's you can see I added dark green in there. So that's it. You can see the apple green one much more water than all of them yet. So that's when another one connect with the apple green one. So still can get water and append from the app wholegrain. So that's you can see the red one. Yeah, a lot of who. You can see the detail and the how to mix each other and very natural way. And I, we're going to show you another video. Another subject. This one, if you already tried the previous slide, what I show you, so you can go to try this one. And I still use a four little bit bigger than the before. So the size in the US to 300 grams paper. So you can see I first use a big brush to make an oval shape into the paper. So and the second step, I use my round brush, number 6 to enter some intense color. So debts time, my brush is less water so that I can get intense color into the paper so that you can see my overall shape looks very different. Yeah. So some light color in there, some dark color. So that's a maker. More. Our rich color inside. And I feel the start with a simple shape. It's very good for beginner. You don't need to worry about heart, the complex shape, and structure. Yes. So circle or low angle, that is all good for practice. So and you can see my step is, always start with the bigger brush because big brush can hold more water. So that's easy. Make sure I have enough time to add different color. And you can see, first, I used very light green. And the second color, I use a needle like cream color and tried to make some dot. And because the paper's still wet, so they will keep blending. When you can go back to see the blue one, they already little bit different with before. So the intense color is changed to the bigger and bigger. And you can see I tried to overlapping the different shape. When I do the second one. I tried to little bit yeah. Overlapping on this first one. So that's give the change and give the more place to allow the blending. And you can see my thirst, oval shape, the color, It's bleed to the blue area because of the still wet. So that I start with my brush. 12. Number 12. Yeah, do some lie. And the sum is start with a dry place. Some is into the wet area. So you can see which different yes. Some look is changed, too blurry, some still very precise in the paper. And you can see I already used the very intense color and still give a little bit the place to connect each other. If you want, try leave some white gap that is different. In fact. So this is no wrong or right. Just make different infect. And I feel this subject is very good for beginners because without thinking like oh, before I said, yes. So you just feel the balance, which area you want, keep it light. And which area you want keep it dark. Yes. So if you want to make her balance good balance, still need to keep these things in your mind. We have some place or looks busy. And the more someplace is more whitespace. Whitespace, we'll be making more breathings, feelings. So this is very important in the award color. And I like whitespace because Give me more relaxed feelings. I don't have to painting off the page. So that's very comfortable. And you can see in this step, I tried to make a different shape, like a small chain or small circle, or just the shape. And you can see my color. It's start with the light to dark. And some color I direct from my pent because I want to get intense color. So I just make sure my brushes is Whit. That's easy enough. You can see my water is already very dark because I, before I painting some, something else. But it's dark matter. You can see if I always remember to clean my brush when I get the sum. Pure color? Yes. So that's you can make make sure the Stu can get very clear color. So just when you start to learn the watercolor, remember this step is very important and clean before you tried to get the new color. And some plays you can see already dry. So when I tried to overlapping on top, they can see very clear out lie. So in this time you can just play with the color. You can try any color you have, and maybe some color you never use. Maybe it's time to use them. And you can try or blending with the different color into your palette. And this is good time to practice. If we do the impression style. Not impression, just like without subject, just just do the sum shape from our mind. Yet we still needed to make sure they shape it, have good contrast. So you can see, I do the big one and the middle one in the small one. So like right now, I'll do some dot. That is, keep my painting are good balance. And also color. What do you use is very important. And, and I think everyone have the own color feelings. So you don't have to try to make a special or someone else. Yeah. Maybe you can I miss. You can follow your feelings. Yeah. So without the lawyers and because of this practice and just help you to more familiar with your art materials in like go pigment and the pressures. Yeah. Like this practice I can do over and over again. So sometimes less is more. So if you feel you can't do anymore, you can stop and do another one. Okay, So this is what I want to share with you in this class. Thank you for your watching. I hope you enjoy it. The field next time. 5. Use different brushes to draw different lines: Hi everyone, welcome to join our class. And today I'm going to show you how to control your brush. And you can see like this picture, jellyfish, yes, or lots of line. And I show you first what I'm using in this class, like a brush. Yes. So today I will show you about three. The first year. So that's this first is my number six. Yeah. And like different lots of different shapes of brush can be easy to make a different shape like this around the brush is very often to use like make some like Oh sir, comb. And if you wanted some shape, the outer lie is smooth here, so this will round the one is maybe best one. And we can see lots of blue. Another shape of brush like her of flat one and mop brush. And very strange UC brush yet. So I tried to lots of different things, but they all depends on the different subject. So you will know if after you Dom more practice about how to control your brush, new world, very understand. Different. When you try different angle with the brush, you will get very different shapes. Yeah, so this is about experience. So that's why we need the more and more practice. And you can see I just tried to show you about around the brush. If I tried to make some long lie and lie and the shoreline. Yeah, so this is very normally the technique in our painting. If you think about these things, you will know the kind of things we, we use a lot. Yeah, Like this one is my favorite one. Chinese brush. Yeah, it is very soft. So very easy to get the fine line. And one want to do some detail in the future class. Maybe you can see lots of time about this brush. And because they are hair, It's very soul. So I can vary the list boat to move them and get a very different angle and to get the water I desire. Yeah. So that's how I want to give you some advice. If you have some different brush with mine, It's okay. You can try to purchase what you have. And try different in go and try different ally, different shape to see what's. In fact. Yes. So that's why we needed to do more practice. In another subject. I will show you more about what I'm using the brushes. So my, I have two round brush, number 12 and the number 61 is flat brush. And a sum is the my mop brush. So lots of different shape. And this one is my very big one, brush. So this one can hold more water. So I just tried to make some lie with my brushes shape. And then sometime I tried to different angle. And maybe some use strict line and maybe some IS curve lie. And the one thing I still start with a pure color. So you can see I'm, my favorite way is start with a light color. So because this way The me feel easy to control because I can build more color on the top. If I start with a dark color, it's so hot to cover. Yes. So that's really different with another art materials. Like if you try the acrylic painting or all your painting, they can start with a dark or light color. It doesn't matter because they can complete cover. So that's individual. You can see I already twice some long lie and lie. And I already changed the brushes, start with my mop brush. This is my theory one, because they are really good to make some shape and very soft. And you can see really good point. And the way you want to get a thicker line, you just give me your brush or more pressures. And they have more shape to connect with the paper. So they can get the more space and get the biggest size, shape from your brush. So you can see this same brush but can make a lot of different ally. Some isn't very thin line. Yeah. And in this kind of bone, this brushy stroke is my I use a lot wide Kawhi pentene or like a cloud or some some biggest space I needed to color in. So that's I will use in this way. And you can see in this way you get the more gradient color inside. Not just the flat wash. Okay, So that's I start to use my flat brush. Sometimes I just only use a flat brush to painting. That is very interesting way. If you're interested, you can try. Because if you just allow yourself to use the flat brush, that's means you needed to try, gave up to do the details. So this is much impression style and much fun because we were painting like her child. And you can see the brushes. The shape is start with the end goal, like a square. So that is my 12 number 12 pressures. And because today I do the paper size is a full. So normally why painting the A4 size? I like to use the Number 12 and mop brush. So you can see my color, it's more intense and bright and tried to overlapping on the top. So this is a very relaxed way to learn the watercolor. And actually this cutoff, this style, it's beautiful. You can like or do some lead her or some cards. You can do this way in like in the background and the foreground. You can write some letters or drawing something. Or even no, nothing on the front. It's okay. I think is looking like a one complete painting. And this shape just to help you to give you more opportunity to practice your brushes. And because we need to own the stand, our brushes. And after I can make more and more different shape like a wild painting, some complicate things. I will very quick to know what kind of brushes I want to use and should go for used in this kind of things. Yes, So this is like muscle memory. So you can see in that step, I still can add very bright color like this, sunny yellow. So they all depends. Water. Yeah. So this right now you can see I just grab my color from my paint box without GO TO need to go to the palate. That's you can get intense color. And normally, or watercolor. It's why would feel. A lot of blue. Student told me the few painting with watercolor that they feel relaxed. Yeah, me too, I feel the same feelings. So I think if you start with this style, when you're painting everything subject, you will bring this relaxed feelings to painting them. Okay, So this, I just add more and more color. And you can see up in my painting still a lot of whitespace. Yeah. So that's I like combined style lever, lots of white space, like breathing space. And some guy put some dots. Right now, I use my number 6. Pressures. Make some small circle. So you can see my step is first the big brush after 12, like last step, 6 and go to the Chinese brush right now is very, very small one. So that's means my shape, well be changed first, always bigger in the middle, in small. So Chinese brush you like. In the previous video, I already show you that is can make a lot of rule by law. So that's the help you when you try to make an impression style. So they still have detail. This is make very good contrast and balance. And sometimes maybe another people watching impression started view. This is not impressions. Dot is the abstract style. So they feel the just do dom, very short time. Actually. When we try to make this title, we need a more focus like concentration into your color. Yet because we have no reference photo or something we just did named the two very focused on our painting and to find a good color to make her good balance. So that's is the hard things actually. So I just wanted to comment. If you tried the style, I hope you can maybe tried feel color. Sometimes good ways, just like earth color, like all green color. You know, the green color. So many different like yellow, green. Green, dark ring. Yes. So you can make from the cut-off this color, it can be very complete already. Yeah. So like because you can see I tried lots of color, crew color and the red color. Actually, it's just one thing. Be careful, it's too much. Sometimes we we. Easy to do too much k. So you can say I add some dots with my pen. So that is also due to some details. When you want tried to do this step, sometimes you can use the Chinese brush or 0 is, can be two very thin line. And then sometime you can precise things like I, because today I just want to show you about lie. So that's just using the line. If you want, try these parenthesis. And another thing is like you still can start with the small size page, like 85. Yeah. Oh, you like the style. You can start with a full and actually a lot of things we can talk about how to control your brush. So in the future class, I will show you more about this and hope to see you practice and we will see you in our next class. Thank you for your chain. 6. Watercolor technique wet on wet: Hi everyone. Nice to see you again in our class. And today I'm going to show you a technique, wet on wet. This technique is very used for with the word color. Yeah. And like like a previously we talking on Lords hopeful about ah, it's all about water. Yeah. So today I'm going to show you this technique and first, I will wet my paper first. And I find a way to very good to suit bot for beginner to practice. Like this one. Yeah, It's like impressions style, flowers. Its debts means you don't have to think about shape. And so many impasto for flowers, you just feel about the ratio of water with the pigment. Yes. So first you can see I wet my paper first and add into the blue color. And this blue color actually is some more water than my second bubble. So that's why the second level, these purple, it's look more clear. Then the first nibble. Yeah. So that's this all depends on the water. How many water you use into the paper? Yes. So thats is make a difference in fact. And you can see the purple color because I'm not using too much water. So they actually the Leica place into the paper. They still stay in this place, no blending with the background color. So that's you can get the precise shape. And the third level, I add some dot with the pink color. And this level, you can see I'm a little bit more water, so that's get the light one. So that's when you tried to make this impression style flowers. Just remember to control the level. Yeah. Remember this step first, more water or less water and the last step, less water again. Okay, so thats is a small practice and I'm going to show you another subject. Yeah. So density is also flower world with a bottle. And sometimes the watercolor, wet on wet. This style not means just we should too wet whole page. Sometime we can just select part of the paper. Like in this video. I just first use a light color to wet my bottle place. So that's looked like combined first level. So that's means sometime we don't have to only use loudly use the water to wet my paper. Yes. Sometimes we can use some pure color to make first level. And the individual you can see I moved through my paper. Yes, so that's I want to make special texture yet because right now my paper is still wet, so that's allowed pigment to move and blending by the cell. Yes. So that's I can get natural color and texture. And because today, why do this step? Because today I'm going to do a old bottle, not new one. Yeah. If you do the new one, maybe that's another way to do. So. You can say put some dot, sprained the color into the jar. Here, he will have some white color. Yes, so that's its core purpose or to make them more texture. This is another step you can see I use my mop brush is too wet edge of the bottle. But not all of them. Yeah. Just some more of them. Because I want the make some more natural connect the away the background and not really clear out lie. So that's why I just do wet some of them. Because if I tried to wet all of them, they will be very good. Foolery fueling in the outline after we can't see the shape. Yeah. So that's why Lucas so very careful to wet them. So you can see it right now, just like connect those 3 into the bottle. And the same times I went my background with the mop brush and the one I do, the wet on wet. This technique I like to use the sum of brush is they can hold more water. So normally this another like this one is number 6. Brushes is just for drawing some shape. So that's why I wet my background first. You can see because I want build a more livable for my flowers. That can make a more Good, good space, fueling and distance. It's good balance. Okay, So that's I speak up too. Color my boughten of the background. And I use a little bit similar color with my bottle. Yeah, so let's see some more maker connection with my bottle, with the background. So in the video, you can see I already painting my petal. Right now you can see the first-level in the second level and the y tried to do the second level and not covered them. Yeah. Just trying to overlapping. And this makes more vote in there. Yeah. And color and the shape. You can see when I tried to make a different level, I all changed, also change the shape. So you can see the very faster to finish yet because I spin up. Okay. So that's, he's just show you very shortly, too. Wet on wet technique. Actually, this technique curve should be spending more and more time to practice and to get more experience about this one. Because in the watercolor style, that technique I use a lot, if you like, really watercolors style. Okay, So that's what I want to show you today and hope you like it. And I found it first video. It's really should go for beginner, you can try and use different color in the shape to do this practice. Yeah. And looking for to see your practice. 7. Watercolor transparency: Hi everyone. Nice to see you again in my class. And today I'm going to show you the water is water color transparency. And think this is very important to understand how to use the word color. As I put one picture as to explain what is built, the level of watercolors. And I think this is very use for technique. Now that we started. And first I will show you use the pure color like a very light gray and add lots of water and less pigment. Sometimes is when we want viewed level from light to dark. So first actually is changing amount of water. So as the premier Zai post a picture like first level, normally I will add a lot of water and little bit penned. So that's isn't very basic technique. First, adjust from the outline and into the inside. And you can see some color. Stay there so get more dark color and some place less water. So that's looks lighter than another place. And today I feel these leaves shape is very good to do this practice. And in this step, you can see I just painted a few leaves and no connect each other. And in this practice, if you like, try the different shape, that's will be fine and gave the time to dry in this first level. Very important. If you, They still wet, when you add in different level, they will be blending each other. So that's hard to get. Hot edge. Yeah. So that's you can see when I blending the second level of color, I just little bit less water than before. So just make sure they complete dry so that we can painting on the top. So that's you can see like a transparency. We still can see the water we've done previously. And you can see the light green mixing with yellow green. So they get the new color that sees like could get the three color in the paper. So the first is light green and the yellow green. And between the yellow-green with grades color, we have one more color inside. Hey, so sometimes I just cover between the two leaves. And like transparency, color with the bank color, the different planes is just a, we can see another color before we done yet. So I think when we buy the watercolor pinned, normally a lot of color, it's all trends In the C carbon. And the normally, if they add some white color so that it can complete cover another color. This is opaque color. But I think, you know, go to bed. One, just a different kind of like a different way to painting the different style. So sometimes we prefer to use the kind of food transparency colors. Sometimes we need to add white to complete cover. Another color. In this time, we can see are already viewed three levels. And as before, I said, once again, like more paint and less water. So also saying this green color as well, less water and more paint. So that's when we do the overlapping on the top. So debts look is more strong than the big full tape. So why start with this yellow color and make sure they complete dry. So sometime you can use your finger to touch them. It's a beauty how wetness beings. And also I change the shape a little bit. You can see the much smaller than before. That's isn't maker good balance and make a good contrast. You all the same. They look like in this same distance. Yes. So I just more, make more interesting. And I think in this technique, if we understand what is transparency of watercolor, if we weren't in the future, when we paint in lots of different things, like make more shadow or may come more space feelings. Yeah, So that's used will be very useful. And another thing is though, to control the time. Yeah, So what time we want these still keep when we do the same time to painting, use another level or another color. But sometimes we want the Maker very precise level and the shape. So that's we should be waiting for them to dry or maybe gave the like some special to them dry. So that's you can't see it through the bank grain. It's completely dry so that I can get precise shape and hot lie. It's very different with the actuary is upset with the wet on wet technique. And when we painting the big size of painting, actually we can avoid too. If you really want wet on dry or wet on wet. Actually, we can control the time. Like some place still wet. We maybe we can move to another place while they still wet. And sometimes we want the wet on wet. So debts we will do the same time. So that's some time we don't have to just waiting. But when the very familiar with your stage of the paper, and even I use the warm color. I still like to make some darker and lighter color in to the one leaves. So when I mentioned to wait the dry so thats is complete to make sure they already drawn. So that's, I start another new color. So like this, orange as well. I'd like to make some like alton color so that time mixing some orange in here. So you already can see the 1234 color. And you can also use some reference photo to painting these shape or try different other leaves. And you can see I do the shape small and small. And make sure they all different angle and overlapping with another one. So make it a very interesting conversation. And the Sometime, if you like, try, you can try the warm color and add with a different amount of water and the same basis step, wet, dry, wet, dry. And this technique like code before I said this, or draw wet on dry land. I'm using this paper is still a fool. And I like to use the my mop brush to join this shape because very pointed and can hold lots of water. So mop brush, I feel very good to painting the leaves. So dense ISA and NANDA color I think is last level. It's very intense color. And the wine use to intense color I, the size r will be changing it smoother than before. So when we want tried to do this dial, three things I think is very important. Like first things is about ration of water with the pen. And as before, I always sit, say like this, yeah. And the second thing is about level, how to build the liberal color liberal. So thats is we needed to practice and the practice because we, we didn't know the different colored they when they overlapping with another color would look like. So that's we needed try and get more experience. And like which one you want to look like a blurry in the background. Some color you want in the four gram. So that is control the ratio of water and pigment. And last things that I think is about the time. Yeah. Like oh, before I said, on the stand and are very familiar with how wetness the paper. It's all about time things. So in, in, right now you can see my conversation is like core circle. And why finished the last level I view, the middle level is not enough. So that's why I like cause sunny yellow into the, between the sunlight with the dark leaves. Just make more rich color. So that's means you, you don't have to light to dark and you can't back to the warm, more middle-level. They're actually you can, because I always do this way. Because we do balance. We need to always to Theoden in different time, some time or maybe feel not dark enough or maybe too light or maybe two the two amputee or something. Yeah. So somehow we needed to add more. And if you want to ask me what time to stop, this is a very good question. I also like to ask myself, even I already painting for few years, I still think about this question. And I think it depends on your experience about everything, like her help feeling about this subject or how on the standard use the word color or another atom materials. Yes, so that's a lot of things. If I can do more in depth time, at the moment, I will do more. Yeah, but I always encourage myself if I can do more or not. Just too easy to give up to 12 or maybe want to give up just for you. Everything. It's already very good. So I always in the end end almost the end of the time, I always asked myself, do you want do more or you can't do anymore? Yes. So I just always try again. If I can do more because I feel if you can encourage yourself, maybe you can. Few more things may be more deep fielding come out. So that's where interested. Go ahead. And when I'm painting the different subject, adjust a few in the dream. Yeah, So that's, I like, I really enjoyed to painting while I was painting. So I enjoy the process. And always very exciting to looking for. In fact, every time because I have no idea what will be come out. Okay, So in this video, I am going to already drawing some line. And this line is thicker because I use the number 808 pen so much thicker. Because I feel in this painting at some lie is may come more. Good balance. And I just use the sum broken lie. Not I don't want make steep line. So any time if you want to make a lively feelings, always use the broken lie. It's it's better. And then use this decline. It's means more safe. If you're not sure. And I just select one level of the Before I viewed. Just like this green color and a little bit some light ocher color. And you can see the much good contrast for now. And the like. They have color and some detail. So if you remember the stamp, even you tried to do another very simple leaves. Also good to make a good contrast. So that's I feel why I just want to show you this one. Because I feel that's very stressful for beginner to practice. And to give you an opportunity to practice with shape and color level and the zoning. Little bit jarring. Yes, I understand some people they don't like drawing. Actually. Yes, some people they like them more painting or some people more like drawing and little bit painting. So I feel, or I tried to make the lesson little bit jarring with the watercolor. It's, it's a good way to help the different people. Okay, so that is what I want to show you today. Hope you like it and enjoy the process of the painting and looking for your practice. Thank you for your watching and a nice day. See you in the class. Do you feel right? 8. How to paint a bouquet of flowers and a cup of tea: Hi everyone. Nice to see you again. And today I'm going to show you how to painting these purple flower with a cup of tea and some very old papers. And when we painting these things are just, we need first to separate them. Or which one is the first level and which one is behind another one. And you can see some of the shadow of the paper around the paper. In that painting, I will go into. Main thing is my purple flower. And today this flower is not very complex. Of the potato. You're actually not like a rose or something. Look is very clear and just, we need a separator in each pair TO how to organize them and make very colorful. And like today in this sample, I used a little bit different with this photo. This photo I searched online from the Pinterest website. If you're interested in the different kind of food, flour, you can find another one. And I like this flower shape in the color and the stem or so, the leaves, yeah, look very good shape. And another thing is when we trying to make more detail, actually in this reference photo, we can make a more detail if he enjoyed to painting the detail. That's a very good reference photo. You can see of flower detail and some of water, like a cup around the top. This is all very good to practice about detail. And that will start to practice. And first, I'm going to painting the flower parts first. So first I were used the very pure color. This isn't my rows. Violent. Not sure. And you have this color and this color. It's really good to painting the flower. And when we painting these flower, very important things is how to make brushy stroke. Yeah, like code. You can see I just tried to do one by one. So what I always go back to get them more color and more water. So when we back to the paper, that is already done, more and more on the ball into the one flower. So looks like Pareto connected each other. And I'll leave some little bit white gap where I make different the petal. So that's when I finished the first level. When they still wet, I add a little bit intense pink. So that's is the third level. Debts, little bit intense. Red, a crew red. And you can see my brush stroke is changed. The first and much longer. And second level, much fame, one and more focus on the potato. Like that, see some more help to the light curves, some Pareto overlapping with another one. So that's you can see the shadow between the two petal. And this line little bit close the Boynton. So that's ease and make a flower. A gradient of color. Normally the flower top of the petal is a lighter than the bottom. For now, and I change my brush. I used a Chinese brush that much darker color for the confirm the detail and the less water. So I just tried to make it different the line, some very thin one and some little bit thicker. And the more trying to use the curved line. Because normally when we're painting the flower, we use a lot of curved line. And the same before I just close to the underneath of the flower. As before I said, this will be help your flower. It's look-alike, looming. It's not young one. And a little bit more shape into the Bolton and top. It's most very thin line on the top. And a here. Think about which side is your shadow? Yet like in mind this painting, look like a shadow? Ease in to the left side. It's not exactly, but just a little bit look like in the left side. So that's why I gave the left side of the Bolton little bit more shadow color and some place in to the middle area. So you can see look more 3D. And for now adjusted for the ICU. Roast violet and some pink. So that's, I feel not enough for the color. In the same time, I will add some blue color. This blue color, it's my favorite color. It's huge marine blue. If you watch another video, we're very familiar with this cell or this pigment. And the one I tried to add this color, just make the little bit close to the top and bottom side is not exactly evenly everywhere. So same time, I used the spring Bordeaux to spring some more water because I want the more moisture and they can good to blending each other. So for now we can't see very clear because they take time. Okay. So that's time we need gave them more time to allow them to dry. So this weekend start go to the painting, the stem and the leaves. And SB four, I said I like them. The leaves and stem. It's look very strong and very longer. So that's why I changed my brush. I use the numbers six. This plastic hair brush is very used for when you try to make some like this feeling. And that's place is one thing. We can put more attention about. Direction. Yeah, like deaths is local, like come from one stem is not every well, if you tried to make like a one-by-one, think that is the con of different flowers like this. Lower the local likely come from the few stem. So that's why I all come from the one-point of the board. You can see my flower like her first line and go to the second line. Deaths between this area. I used a very short grain line and also uses some dot. That's why I do this way, because we can't see this one much. Actually. We just can see a little bit and we can't use it to strong color. Because if I make it too strong, so maybe to like focal point is changed. So that's some time maybe we look some area looks more darker, but we tried to make the lower contrast. Yes, so that's easy. Some time we need to organize them. In the same time, I used a Chinese brush to make some dark color. And this one and not carbon them and just overlapping and a little bit close to the first-level see. So that's the can bleed each other. So get them more lovable. And you can see when I added some dark color, like stem, I'm not very closed, exactly close to the flower. Because at the moment, the flowers still wet. If I allowed them to connect each other, they will bleed everywhere. So that's not not want to like this. So that's why, Why I leave some white gap. So in a watercolor will leave some whitespace or white gap or something. This is all very useful way to make some area. If you don't want to painting you or something, you all can use the whitespace to instead shadow, place or highlight. Okay, so dense. I won't go into painting the paper. And this kind of, this paper, it's a very old look like after long, long time. So that's why I used a little bit crane color. With this color also included some white already. So thats is a very opaque color. And so that's why I add more and more water. In this right corner, is I have a warm more things need to painting a cup of tea. So that's why I leave some space. And in this subject, I just directly use my brush. Because, why painting the flower? I'd like to do this way. If the structure is complex, I will try to join first. And this teal color, it's a little bit different with the coffee. More clean, more pure. So that's why I used a little bit the green color with the cream color. If I painting the coffee color, I will use the ocher color in some very strong orange color. So you can see first, I used the number six brush IND. Another step are used to Chinese brush to join some like some details. And this one is small, small spoons. So this one is mentor one. So that's why I use to our very dark color. Join them. First, second level, I will use some yellow to make the more natural level, not exactly just the dark color in there. And that's because one thing is the into the water. It's not on like curve on the table. Actuaries into the water. So that's some outlier. It's blurry. In this step, I start to jarring, still use the dark color too jarring the around these T. And normally this T, this water close to the cup, they have some dark color in some highlight and the t color. So that's a lot of thing to make this water. Because water when the white, the CAN, got a lot of reflection. And in here, I will use the same color to drawing the outline to make this lookalike cop. And in here, I use a broken line. And if you feel hot to this weight directly, you can use depends. So do the first. And actually if you filmmaker Rong Lai actuates no problem, you can make a more double line. So sometimes I make mistakes, lots. So I always just go ahead. And when you make her trying to make them more lie, that says look and more real feelings, more natural. Because normally the cup, the atrium much Shu Lai around this area. And for now I just drawing some pattern. Yeah, if you see the reference photo, they have lots of pattern around the edge. And in these subjects, we need a try and do these things is or make more pattern. So when we try to make her pattern, actually we kept drawing this one, this part to clear, too precise. We need the maker trying to make her use the broken lie and to jarring look like very blurring fielding look like We can't see this, but we can see what kind of pattern they have also into the paper. So you can see I'm just trying to do a lot lots broken line. And I like this background color. Yeah. When they dry. So look like a more local look like really old paper. And because today I'm not going into more detail for my background like this paper. So that's, I just do little bit detail like this pattern for the paper. I can do more and more detail for them. Yeah. But we need to try to make her which one is your main thing? Okay, so I think this step is very important. It's maker shadow. You can see what this shadow, that's cup of tea. It's some much it stand out page. So why I joined this lie? It's a full paper. You can see the reference photo. Deaths is not just only one paper, actually is of view. And I don't want the look good, too strong contrasts. So that's why During the warm line and use another brush to wash them. So that's, CAN some place the blending with another one. That's maker, blurry feeling. So I think in the one painting, some place is precise, soundly, is blurring. That is very good. Contrast. So that's this cup or shadow. One shadow of a cup. You can see I make three level for this shadow. So that's east. Very small tip. Like when you're drawing everything like a cop or books or something, the shadow you can do this way will be look-alike or more 3D. If you just try to make a one, the bot, the look-alike could not stand up to the look-alike very close into the background. Look like this flower you can see because my shadow, I just give the one level. So that's its look-alike. This flower, it's really close to the paper. Yes, so that's shadow. How they look like. Select light color or dark color actually isn't, depends on the subject is close into the background, close to the shadow place. Yet that's kind of distance. And have another reason like song, song shy, Yeah, light source come from and what time. And if they are really strong light source, they will be all different. Yeah, So that's a lot of all kinds of different situation. King, so that's alike. I use this green color. So you can see that sees the finishes three, level four shadow. And that shadow, I like to use the grain because that may come more connection with the flower. Sometime if we want, make very good balance for the one painting. Not say, you should be a purple flower. Just use the purple. Sometimes you can use really upset by color or use the t color. Let's make them look more natural. Kinky. So for now, we are going to do more and more detail. So that's it. I use very intense color to make them more. Shadow. And the light curve for now, if you feel your cup, the shape is not very good. You can try to fix. Yes. So that's you can see why add them more and more dark color, say the localized or more different than leaves come out. The, we can go back at to see these flower color. You can see because I spring some water. So the much chance to mix each other. Sometimes I just want the keep MOOC and running to each other. That is a watercolor feelings. So you can see I just add some blue color into the stem area. That's purpose. Just want to get them more more animal color. Yeah, you'll come more color for and these green color, blue color. It's also like some shadow or some ally to like a tight these flowered. So you can see why at the some color I, we're going to add a different place. So for now I will add some into the cup because the cup is white. So normally they are well, reflect lots of different color. So when I add more and more detail, we almost finish this painting. Just gave you the more doors. And hope you like and enjoy today's class. I hope to see you next time. Bye. 9. How to paint the shoes and flower : Hi everyone, Nice to see you again. The world come to my art class. And today this topic about the shoes, clothes, shoes, like this one. A few, very, very familiar with us. Not sure everyone like her clothes Jews. Today we're more focused on the same with the last few weeks. Uptick in our life? Yes. So on entered today. Not too much your point? Not too much. Like a technique. Yeah. It's like her looks very simple things, but we have to understand that how many things we can put more, pay more attention about this part off his shoes. Year, different shoes. We have a different way those things different part of the shoes is unlike. You can see this as close to us, but they have included lots of different materials here. Like a little bit in plastic, like in the bottom. Yes. We how to make this texture up looking like a plastic. So that's means we need always change our brushes stroke. Yeah, like maybe direction of the brush or maybe use different brush or maybe sometime is wet, sometimes dry, dry brush, year. Some maybe we need to change our speed. Used a brush like maybe fast we can get the dry texture. That's gets some texture seamless with my object. It's some may be we need to do the faster because they like to close our fabric. This part matches smooth. That sees a lot of little bit the different tips year. So we need to focus on just very tiny, yet different the things we need to pay more attention to make the looks different. Not all the same. Yeah, like this part is the fabric in the fabric apart. You can see looks the same color of them, like black. But we had to make Our little bit more interesting. We can use the light and the median dark to paint in this warm part. And also you can add a different color. Like somehow we can think about the February goal, Cantor reflection. But sometime, sometime you can't do count at the different color to make more interesting, like I add a little bit the YouTube Marie blue, if you can see. Yeah. And when they into the black, the blending light, dark blue. So that's just make like a shadow of fueling or maker. Make them more interesting. Like you can see some edge area, you add a little bit. This is look like a kind of awful cutoff shadow. Yeah, you can see this one. It's not flat. The shoes in there is like go down and go up. That's part is make a shadow. If you all the same, maybe we feel that's part. It's flat. So we following this curve year. So that's why I added some color in there. So to purpose, one is making interesting, one is make a shadow. Hello. Yeah, and another thing is mental ring in here. Or clothes, shoes have this one. Sometimes. So I'm not using color for this one. Maybe somebody's white. Yeah, maybe some black or something. But you can see I tried to use vary confirming that lie to make the shape is looked like a clear, strong, and a stand out of the fabric. So that's I used the sun, a broken line, maybe just confirming the two side or maybe just a one side. And the sum is a dry brush. Yes, that's make just because I do very impressions DO. But just a little bit changing my approach. Brushes, stroke. Yes. Yes. So that's some, if you like more focus, pay more attention about this one, you can actually compute them more level. Like a look like a complete circle? Like a ring in there? Yeah. Like a how-to the shoes lace through inside. You can see this part. I really leave it to like an impression because when they have some order things, I always try to avoid them. Yeah. So I don't want to one-by-one clearly year. So if you like, try this one clearly so you can do like this part. I leave a little bit more novel years, so that's a Much better clear than this one. Yes. So you can see the the shoes lace how to cross each other. Yet just expressing a little bit clear for the structure of the shoes lace. Yeah, this is thinkers of basic years. Some means that the lie is helped because the fabric is from different part. So that's I use this some light to make the clear of the structure. Yeah. Another thing is about flower. This flower is not too much details. So after in the video I will talking about more this one. It go another page. Yes. We still continue to observe the details year. So give you some reference photo ID, like a sum is a fabric texture. And some of these later year and some is a different style of shoes. They all make a different painting feelings. Yeah, they can be very good object. Yet. If you have your favorite issues, you can put up to make a still life. Yeah, and the sunflower, the top, that isn't very good. Still alive yet. Before I mentioned, yes, so fabric texture, these do have a different one like some phi, really smooth. We can't see that much texture on the top. But some is raphe year, so that means you need a smooth or use the dry brushes joke yet to make, that's make a difference. The fabric feelings. Leader test Charles I think is depends on if I paint in the later one. I will use the more different the color level to make it little bit test jar and also the the sum the light on the top. Yeah. That's make the debts. Maybe he's a refreshing if older one is make more level of the color. If the new one they look, you can see the right corner. The black one is looking very bright and lots of highlight that says you can, maybe you can leave more whitespace and make a good reflection feelings to make it look like a leader. That's different. Yeah. Yeah. And I give you three reference photo. The first one is my reference photo. And if you if you, after you want to choose another one, can do. So. I will stop share with the video. This one I do have a listen me is okay. Yeah. Yes. So I'm going to do the first ones do have no drawing yet. So I start with the brush. If you want to. Drawing, start with a drawing. That's no problem. How I used the direct use the brush you too. Jarring these issues is a just leave some white things. Yeah. And deliver some like the Hubble, they own logo, SM ring, and the plastic area. Shoes lace, it's occupied whitespace. That's the lots of small shape. That's step is one-by-one. You can see this one, this color, actually just the black, but I add a lot of water. So that's maker, lots of different level. Because I'm starting with just direct use the brushes. So that's looked like sometimes this structure is more loose, loose style. You can see i and the different depart like this one. Different the part of shoes. I just use, the white gap. This one leave with lots of white gap. In this painting. This one is shadow. I'm very quickly to finish the first one. From to one. I think my shoes is the shape a little bit different. The reference photo or even that's place isn't nothing, just the fabric. I still leave some whitespace. Sometimes one review might we do not drawing, sometimes I needed to think about what part of them. So you can see it today. I use the 300 paper. Yeah. So very thicker one. Why finish the second one? Went back to the front one. My paper. Wet year. So that's means union put a little bit more water. If you use the 180, that's no problem. Maybe you need to do the same time. Yeah. Maybe finish the front one and after do the next one. So that's you can keep the first level wet. While you do the second level. You can see that season maker different than level in there. You can see my darker color or around the right side look like a little bit. This one. Go further place. This is a kind of shadow. Vary. The step is already go to the Use the Chinese brush. That's one is very dry one. So that I can make some texture because this paper is rough one. So I can make some texture with the paper. And then sometimes maybe the structure of the shoes. Maybe you make wrong line or maybe wrong level, that's no problem. We can use this step to confirm again. And before what do you do? You feel this, this mistake, but this will be back to the background. So no worries about when you want try youth director, use the brush year. Because while I'm few confident to do the. Our directly use brush because I think diameter, it's a wrong or right. I can use the another way to confirm and just avoid. That's before. That's level. And unlike the live there, because this is make a more level. Sometimes make more look at colorful. You can see I used the clear lie is confirming my structure of the shoes. Include the plastic part and like this one, yeah. Shoes lace. Sometimes. You can do the impression style, but the structure of shoes, we still needed to confirm them. Look alike. Like shoes feelings. You can see this plastic area actually I all leaves the whitespace. No color in there. I just add a few lies. Yeah, current lie. That sees shapes command. And I like like this, February core feelings. Yes, some darker, some light. You need to control the union. Like a first did know what, what kind of paper you use that to make a decision to how many the ratio of water with the pigment. Okay, So let's see. Shoes brand I changed. This is a star. I change like five petals of the flower. Not nor like, not like. Add events and events. I think, Oh, where was very young, I like the shoes. But why get into this age? I viewed this choosing not uncomfortable, but not really. More like spot shoes. That's part I already you can see I'm not finished. Too much detail. Even not included before I show you the blue. Yes. So I already STI in with flower. And this flower you can see I direct use of very intense color. That's easy. Like a little bit neat, lemon yellow, yet more lemon yellow and a width a little bit sunny yellow. Because lemon yellow is really our green. Yes. So that's why I added a little bit sunny yellow. That's all look like a one level. But I leave some petal itself without lemon yellow because I will add some like a shadow of the paddle year. Some may be because they are face to the light source a different angle. So they might look like a darker than the lemon yellow. So that's why I leaves some petal white and do another color. That's, I think that's ways when you painting some lot of impasto of the flower, you can use the same way. Yeah, because you all the Pareto or use the same color, they look flat and a few, not right yet. But if you add just a few, couple of the patio different color. But this color should be related to the into another petal. If you change it. Very different. But sometimes okay, you can use the opposite color, like a yellow with blue. That's Amika, very strong contrast. So while I finish my flower, I start to painting in some few of leaps. Saying this one because it is like not too much leaves. The leaves shape is much important. Yes. So like edge. The top of the leaves, the very thin and what kind of shape we need to focus on and how to connect the width, the flowers. So they how-to overlapping, how to cross them and to leaves and the how-to comes together. And this color is yellow, green. You can see my palette in the right side. That's some yellow and some green and some brown. If you want to make a natural color and do the same time, you can see still use the same brush number six and add a little bit the black with green, yellow, green. So that's mega shadow color, but the size is smaller than before? Yeah, on the bottom. And the big because I do the same time. You can see under the same time. So some color is connected with a yellow, green. So that's make a gradient color. Yeah, so very, very simple and more color level. If you want, try this way. Yeah. And deliver it to them, dry and go back to make flour. Why I do the after a couple of minutes because the petal in this time so far they getting almost a dry. So that's a good time to add some color into it inside here. They can't blending very well yet, but they can blend a little bit. That says good. But I think it's still wet and I leave it this level because after I will add one more level inside. So that's, I go to the here. This one before is white plastic part. And I use the different color, roses, violet into it and add more water. This part is shadow. Also include some edge area. This today this paper is not too big, is A4. You can see I go back, use a Chinese brush, too, directive from my pent. So that means they, this inside this part of color will be really intense here. Less water so they can blending little bit with these level, but the more live in, inside and leave some whitespace. Yeah, the different shape for each one. Some is more whitespace, some is less. Make a few different. I think that's flower have two color. One is the yellow, one, another one is the lighter, lighter purple. That's I won't make more connect each other. So I use the same color, little bit more. Violet, rose violet. So that's time. Go back to do some detail. So that is my deep violet color. I just wet my Chinese brush and get the color from my penned box. That's I do the shadow. You can see I do that some short line just added to the between the gap years, some little bit of follow the right side of the petal. You can see when I finish in this darker, deep provided into the edge of the petal, this one much more detailed than this one, yet few more level. Some may be you can use the thicker one, thicker line. So we can compare with another one. You can see this one look like this one, not enough to detail when you add some detail for another one. And the likely if you stand this way when you're painting a lot of flour is the same way. You don't have to do all the detail here. You can just give the fuel level to make an E local like this kind of flower. It's time to add the blue and the white. I add this huge Marie blue because I feel, I think because I, after painting yellow, the YouTube Marie blue is opposite color with the yellow. That's make more interesting and more good balance and the strong contrast. You can see I just used my Chinese brush to add into the shadow place. Even some used to look a very, very strong. Just want to make it interesting. And the colorful. You can see why I added the blue that's making the structure more strong, stronger. And if you feel the edge area is too hot, you can use your brush to make them more rough texture. So you can see this is the look-alike fabric texture. In the full grant. The blue color is more clear. Yeah. The back one, it's look like a more fader. Faded. That's can be go to the further place. And around this background. I used the steel use Chinese brush because I want the make them more texture. Rough one and add a little bit blue color into the ground in the width the plastic part. Some structures do not express very clear. So I use the think is the dark brown? Dark brown directly from my from my paint box. Yes. So that's making one more level to make the more depth yeah. Like the how to cross them. The some part is maybe go another side. Need more darker. That's I will go again, use the more you tomorrow and blue. Some may be at viewed this knot. Little bit too hard. Some debts is I start used orange to weigh the white, like a cream color, but later be cream with a red. Make them more colorful background. Yeah. So today this painting more focus on relaxing feelings. Like you have a shoes. The sunshine. This step is at the more and the more color. You can see the background color, I add some light blue, the lighter orange. Also light green. Sometimes. Maybe it's because this one is some green leaves in there. I put a little bit the grain into the plastic of the shoes. Okay. So I start to jarring the ring. Mental ring. Yes, do very impression. But you can see my color is much darker than before yet because this is almost the last level. Yes. So you can't see that lasted normally the last syllable. I always just wet my brush and direct to get the color from my palate box. Just confirming the dark place. And today this video not too long. You can see just 2024 minutes. To speed up a little bit. Background add some more color. That's this yellow. Because this paper is not too big. The background is much more whitespace. That's why add more color. Make them more like on the the sunshine feelings and the wet the background little bit and give the more spellbound. Some.org already finished. Yet, like before I mentioned that you can use same practice with a minus one or you can painting, do your own shoes, make with the sunflower. So you can start with the plaque practice. And if you have any questions in, please let me know. Thank you for watching and hope you enjoy today's class. See you next time. Bye everyone.
