Project Description

Create a Custom Watercolor Logo

Choose a brand - real or fictitious - and create a watercolor logo for it! It can be your blog’s title, your personal name, family name, an online shop, or create your own! You’ll need to pair that name with a descriptor (a description that follows your brand’s name that tells everyone what it is). Examples of descriptors are: ‘jewelry’ ‘cupcakery’ ‘greeting cards’ ‘designs’. Keep it less than 5 words and refer to the logo cheat sheet pdf for inspiration if needed.

DELIVERABLE

Create a custom watercolor logo that fits the personality of the brand it’s for while incorporating the following:

  • a list of 3-5 brand attributes
  • research of look/feel for brands in the same niche
  • a thoughtful font/element choice that references the brand’s attributes
  • any sketches, new watercolor textures or vector elements created for use with the logo
  • At least one vector object/flourish/element in your logo
  • At least one watercolor texture used as either a background element, masked in text, or masked in the vector object
