1. Introduction: Hi, friends. Welcome to my skin share class. What color? Underwater? This is my third station class and I'm ready for the response on the 1st 2 glasses. With that spirit, I created this class with all the knowledge I have on painting on the water. My name is Hosni. I mean, what acclimatise reciting in California, actually from India. I have always miss write with the beauty off underwater. It looks like some magical world Me, my love for blues and water, Alec to my interest in this subject. So in this class we will pain these two underwater scenes. This class is for intermediate and expert levels. But I have explained every tiny detail to finish these two class projects so that it can be unless tried by big nuts too. First, we'll go through all the subleased required for this class. We require only minimum. Stop, please, to create these beautiful faces. We'll go through all of that and then learn the quite techniques for painting. Outlast products like wet on wet breast strokes were pending waves lifting technique. These techniques may be simple, but our entire painting depends on how well we understand these concepts. Painting the underwater scenes may look difficult, but this is so simple. Bands, We understand these concepts. So I'm very excited to teach you all these magical scenes. Selects get started with the class. 2. Materials Required: First of all, let us see all s a police that are prepared for today's class coming to the brushes. So these are elaborations that we're going to use. 1st 1 is a Flatbush flat wash place from Brinton in Pune. I used this for background water washes and please to also Blackwelder drawn brushes on his up size eight and one its upsides for So these are the two brushes that I'm going to be used on. This one is a flatfish from tackle size number 10. So this fun I'm going be used for creating Baghran washes. These are capricious, No doubt the same brand. You can use any wash flat and round Precious. Not necessarily the same one as I have shown. And next is a pencil and a razor. First. Getting right. Wash things quiet. Gosh is from our visa. We used this into this class for creating light race coming to the paper. I'm going with our cheese. This is Archie's called The energy is someone and 100% Kortan. The sheet is off size nine by 12. But we'll cut this into desirable sizes for our class projects and regarding the paper. No need to go with the same brand. You can use any 100% court and one since Pepe. Quality is very important for our project one masking tape or masking the edges. So this is a big one, but you can use a van in step or 1/2 in state. I don't have one in ST on a prophet, so I'm using this and some people toe for cleaning your brushes. And most important is the color palette that we're going to use. This is nervous Coppola Tre white nights that is expanded. So I'm opening this one. So, yeah, this is the ballot that I'm going to use today. Not all locals. I will mention the name off the colors that we're going to use. You can go with any available brand at home and two jacks off clean water, one for cleaning your brushes and one for playing washers. So these are all the sublease that are required, So let's get started to our class 3. Techniques: before starting her class letters learn some most important techniques that we used to know final class projects and that last project paintings depend on how well we understand these techniques. The techniques, like different ways, offered onward press strokes for waves. So a pending solely and I leave freely with all these techniques. So first we learned this, and next we'll jump into our final class. The first technique we're going to learn is, but on where. Technique. This is a simple technique, as this is the basic one we all know for sure. So what on where technique means wet paint on red paper. But onward means painting on a word surface. So first will break the surface. Using water I'm using here wash Fresh from Princeton, I took clean water and applied the whole surface evenly. Carefully observe my breast moments. I'm making sure the paper is completely wet. So, yeah, I'm done with a plain water. Now I'm taking a round brush from Cilla Black Velvet in this fight on with technique I'm going to use to colors. That means we're going to do a very good egg wash. As we know, Variegated wash is a wash off to our more colors that management apply to red pepper vile Still maintaining some of the discreet colors. The first color I'm using here is blue If you say my brush movements pain from one end to end other end and from there back toe another left, right and right to left once we teach off But I'm watching my British and I'm trying to lord my brush with the second color though the second color that we're using is ultramarine blue. So yeah, I have loading my brush with ultramarine blue and I'm started painting from the top paint in the same way as video color one left to right and right to left Slowly merge into the second ship If you're not satisfied with the saturation, you can again go from the top using more DACA tones Yeah, See, we've got the perfect litigated wash So in this recovered the entire surface And remember, one thing we do when the paper is still wet have to work very really fast now lettuce Lee, one more technique that we need This is also they don't technique but don't work with only some part full color for this as this is also went on a picnic. We need to apply clean court off water on the surface again. I took my wash fresh from Princeton, Neptune and a playing a clean and even court off water. I'm taking around fish from Princeton. In this, we're going to apply color only to some part, Not the complete area I'm taking here. Blue mixed with turquoise. I've owned this area. Toby color. So carefully observe my brush moments. Okay, Apply paint only on area where you owned the color to be. So you might be thinking, Why can't we do this with that bone dry technique? Why Own liver don't read. The reason is, if you observe the edges, they don't look. Shop the blend into the background naturally, without any sharp edges. This is possible only with it on their technique. - So these two are the techniques that were going to use for the class. Now we'll see. Have to create light effect as we're going to paint underwater. I'm using here again. We don't read technique. I'm evenly courting the whole surfaced with water. First, we'll see the light from the top part here. Light source will be from the top. So this area will be lighter. And this edible tackle it is as it is, away from the light source. So the animal with a lighter stone and here will be the rocker don't. So yeah, we'll start. We'll start from the doctor. Don't Seema, brush moment. I'm going across one into the other end as the bottom part will be more darker. Increased the saturation of the color when you reach the top part. This is the area from where the light is coming. So I'm washing my bridge and just blending the area. I'm lifting off any color that is here. So I'm washing my brush and removing any color present in that area. Yeah, I want the bottom part to be more doctor. So I'm mixing in to go with ultramarine to get the doctor don't and going across the first layer. So if you see this, you can clearly say that the light is from here and there is absolutely no light here. Now we'll see how it will be if the light source is from the center. I'm using my wash brush and waiting myself is evenly. So he had the light source will be the center, so I'll feel the center at the last. I'm taking ultramarine blue mixed with blue. Start filling the corners first and then go in a circular motion towards the center. Corners will be more darker as those corners air away from the light source, so I'm making them even more brighter and darker. I'm again doing this in a circular motion, and when we reached the centre, I'm watching my bridge and going from center toe outward. Make it Shia. - So by saying we can clearly say the light is from center in the thesis part and light is from the top. In this part way learned some important breast drops that very quiet. So if you see this underwater painting here, you can clearly observe the waves done with beautiful fresh moments. So will first learn how to give thes strokes. It. This is one off my painting I have done previously, so it will be one off last project. For this. We need to learn the brush movements for the Wales, so this is then using with Andre technique that is no need to with the surface using water just up late paint onto this office. I'm taking blue now. My brush is loaded with pain and start painting lines. Random lines clearly observed my bridge movements. I'm nor Ketola playing any pleasure. I'm using people, my fresh to paint these lines. And if you see these lines are not linear, they have draw. Read some places and lean and other places make. Use the tip off your fresh to create those fine lines, and I play a bit pressure when you need broad outlines and leave the white spaces in between. Those strokes give the strokes in such a way that at some places that should be broader, and at some places it should be lean. So these are all the techniques that are required to paint. Finally, fast products way can continue for our final class products. Meet you there. 4. Color Study: before shutting or glass. Let us see What are the colors? Requite. So the first class project will be This one is underwater scene so far. See, what are the colors require for this painting? So this is the ocean by this is water and this is the lights or so from light source We're getting light So this park is bright and this one is doctor So mainly therefore colors that we have used here A blue turquoise mixed with blue And this one is mixed off 3 to 4 colors I'll toward the colors we have used. So the 1st 1 is turquoise blue from white nights mixed with blue from white nights This is the shade that we get by mixing the two colors This is the combination off this color that is tacos green and this color it is blue from my night. So he makes 90% off this color and tempers and up this color to get this shape Next color is blue For white nights it is a military oppression blue from other brands. You can use that and for the bottom most part since it should be dark eye makes you blew it in the go to get a doctor at all. So this color will be a mix off blue are named eagle and for the very spot as this is the part way, we are getting light and this is the part where it is exposed to light. I'm going with more mama tones, so this shared is a combination of total four colors. So, uh, those four colors are orange from white nights and that member low from white nights black from white knight and lay great from my nights not needed. The same shakes mixed different combinations off a low red, orange and black available with you so that the shape use black carefully add little amount advance. If you aren't more, it will become more doctor. So make sure you mix a tiny amount and see how shade works for you. If you see the bottom part of the ocean bed, we can find some all vehicular that is green. From white nights, you can go with emerald green or SAB green from other brands. On the top part, you can see some alerting that is a loca. We used this only illiterate amount, so these are all Nicholas require on you can go with valuable brands at home, so trialling there, the different combinations to achieve these shades, - so let's get started. 5. CLASS PROJECT 1 PART 1: Now let's start with our first class project. We're going to use all the techniques that we have learned in the techniques. Listen. So first up, light water or road. The surface, as we're using, went on a picnic. Here. I'm using my Princeton Wash fresh. So application of water is so important in defining our wash a plate water evenly on the whole surface. Don't pour more water at one part and less at some parts. Ah, play water in such a way that water covers the whole surface evenly without any dry sports , go over the paper again and again to make sure that the paper is completely wet with no dry sports. Yeah, now the paper is completely way. Start our first wash. We'll start with the toys mixed with blue in the middle part. I'm starting with the middle part, and I'm starting with. The shared first article is not necessarily required to be always stunned from lighter to darker. Once we gain confidence in this medium, we can play with colors and we can play flight of the Doctor and I got a lighter. I'm using Flatbush from Dacko to apply this background wash after turquoise. I'm mixing blue and a playing a nice court continuing this taco share. So we're doing a very it'd wash here Ever created Wash is a background wash where we used to are more colors. I play the pain evenly See my brush Moments left, right and life toe right to left Make a nice court. So after reaching the end, I'm washing my brush and loading with the next sale that is, mix all four colors so you have to work Very Farsley. If the paper drives the wash, my lord, be even and we will. We will find some patches off pain so one. So in order to work faster on larger pieces before starting off, always prepared your colors that you're going to use in this piece. So this time saves and you can work faster. So this is a small team that I follow and any other at this Follow all this debate really washes first. So while reading the top part, I'm reducing the saturation. I am using the least tonal value to get a lighter tone and the dog much, but I'm leaving it without applying any pain. This applying water. Since this is the part from where the light is coming, so I'm living it with no color field. I'm a playing another court since the paper is still wet, I'm increasing the saturation violin playing this court, and you don't know this part. If your paper is tried, even at some parts, the paper should be completely wet to do this part. So since my paper is still that I'm continuing with adding one more layer, if your paper is dry, it some parts. Wait for it to completely dry and then add next layer. Now we'll paint the waves. I'm using same flat British. We should do this part when the paper is still wet. Remember this thing? You're step off your flat brush to create this. Observe my brush moments. How I'm applying these. These waves will blend into the background. Don't worry, this is just a based court will give definition to the waves at last, using wet on dry technique. - So we had done with the first layer will wait but the paper to dry completely and then continue with the second layer off Baghran, Wash. So after some time off paper is completely dry and ready to take a second wash. Remember, your paper should dry completely on. So we are doing a second wash here because we're doing the second wash because we were in the background to be more brighter and doing the same thing as we did in the first rush. Viola playing water during second wash. Always follow a pattern. I'm going hear from top to bottom, since top part is the lightest one. If you go from bottom to top, our brush will pick the color at the bottom, and that will be dragged to the light of stadia. So this is important now see and falling a specific pattern from top to bottom. After reaching the bottom, you're celebration again. Go from top to bottom. So now up. Avery's completely wet. I'm again taking my flat brush and continuing to do the same, this time with more brighter values. Turquoise mixed with blue. First apply pain left, right and right to left after the shade. Go with the next share that is blue and continue to blend these two to do a variegated rush . I speed up this process a bit, since we have learned how to play variegated wash in our first background wash take time while losing the bottom. But I'm bending indigo to make the bottom part more docker. Since there will be absolutely no light at the bottom, it should be more doctor blended my sleep and now I'm washing my brush and loading it with the next share that is, mix all four colors and continuing their blend and on reaching the top part, living with no pain No, I'm taking a bit off a little Auker and a playing on the top take the lightest own possible . So now we'll create the ocean bed To create the ocean bed. We will need two shades, one is green and one is in limbo. So I'm taking my flat brush and lorded it with green and dabbing my brush having my Flatbush across the area where I want the ocean but to be And now I'm taking indigo and topping my brush here and this use this to share it randomly and are pure British on the area off the ocean bed. Now take a fresh paper napkin and roll it like this just to lift up some pain with your issue. A place light pressure nor too much. If you are playing more pressure and paint will be lifted off now, I'm repeating the process. I know that this process would also be finished when the paper is still wet, so working faster is more more important. I am appealing only slightest present, - and now we're depending waves. Load your brush with paint and do the same as video. In the first part, use the or side of your flat brush and paint patterns and you some darker tone while doing this. If you use the same, don't off the lighter tone. Then it will completely blend into the background. So you some dark atone to do this pot. Now we have done with the second layer, and after drying, we'll see if we require another layer or not, depending on how the saturation of the colors will be off the train. Now oh, paper is right and off the signature color. I want to be more back, so I'm going to add one more bag on wash and doing the same as we read in the 1st 2 washers . And don't be bored, guys. Good things always take time. This time is worth spending off the same your final finished piece. So now I'm a plain water top to bottom and washing my British and again top to bottom. So we are done with a plain water. Now we will apply pain with my flat deck with fresh first turquoise mixed with blue, and next come blue blend. Go tickle us nicely are playing a background wash. Place a major role in this painting. See a rent. A painting depends on how we do this blending. So before starting off to paint the ass project practice on the smaller sheet and then go to the larger one. It is easy to understand it on a smaller piece. When you gain confidence, you can go to a larger one and C. We applied three layers off Eitan technique. The paper thickness is very, very important. Use 300 GSM or more heavier paper so that our paper can withstand is cautious after raising bottom play indigo and now I'm washing my brush. See, I'm washing my brush completely so that it don't have any blue shade, and now I'm loading my brush with the next own. I think that don't present here is sufficient and so I'm not over doing it. - No way will paint the ocean bed a plague. Random caps off indigo and green. If you don't have green, go for sap green or emerald green. So switch these two colors and apply random taps into go and green. And now, Now I'm rolling with tissue paper. The lift off some pain. So you helped beautifully. We get the ocean bed by lifting or the pain. See how beautiful the blend these and they had done. Now let me a play Some light atone off Loker on the top. - And now we'll wait for this to dry small to fuck with drying. Uh, use your head trade to draw you or to clip it faster. So if you have time, let it dry naturally. And if you don't have time, then go for the hair dryer. So now let's to our final violating part. See you in the next lesson. 6. CLASS PROJECT 1 PART 2: welcome to the second part of the class Project one. So now the background is dry and let's get ready to paint highlighting layer so we'll pain lives here Already. We help painter waves in wet on wet technique in the previous layers, but we see these are not perfect. I want to give some definition toe these waves, but painting using wet on dry technique. Oh, I have taken my silver Blackwell with British This find They give some perfect breast strokes, which are perfect for today spending. So let's mix the color for painting. So I want to show how I'm. It's in the share Gordon from White Nights and Lakeridge Light and black ID Black Bitter bit and next come cadmium yellow medium. As I said earlier, experiment with colors available with you, you will definitely get an early off how to do this. So now let's do this. Let's start from here carefully observed my brush movements and strokes as these plays an important role in painting this waves. So I'm not applying any pressure. Just give some random strokes. No need off fear. You're painting big Perfect and give some random strokes. Not it'll even since the waves you see will not be even. This gives some beautiful on event strokes, so you have painted waves in the background already. Just go that parts. See, I'm not applying any pressure. I'm just using my tip to create these lines. Broderick Some places and lean in some places. I mixed the color with some greater toner value compared to the background. If he makes light a toner value, it will mix with the bag grown, and we cannot see that here at they use off painting waves. Using that Andre technique he's, we can give some sharp just to the waves. Unlike what we have done in the previously, it's like we have done paves using wet on dry, wet on wet technique, which made them blend into the background. So now I want some crisp waves, so I'm painting them, using that on right technique. Don't forget to leave some gaps in between these lines so, guys, this will take some time. But don't lose patients. This is the part which can make or break your painting, so do it carefully as I'm going down. I'm taking paint with light, a tonal value. I'm just mixing more water paint already that we have mixed. So this gives the lighter tone and I'm making it more lighter when I teach half. But this very less pain and more water, he it. - So now I'm taking DACA tone and trying to highlight this part. We get dark, atone by mixing more black into the pain that we have done before. And remember, don't add black all at once are bit by bit and see if the color don't is required. Sufficient or not, if you add more black, you cannot go back. The color will be full of black as black is a strong color at this doctor on only in some cases, just a great depth and highlight for our raves. Now I'm taking discard me mellow light and adding some lighter tones. - So now this park is almost finished. Just some highlights left that we will do later. So yeah, we had done canal. Now let's see. Have to add light tress that are falling from here and here so long we'll see how we do that. To do that, all we need is wide Gosh, So all we need is wide quash. I'm taking right gosh into my ban and mixing it well. So I have mixed wind course with water, and I'm taking my flat brush from Dacko that we used in doing background Wash. So wash your brush completely so it don't have any pain remains. So watch carefully how I do this before starting first recognized the places from where you want the light to be and from where you want to add light. I wanted to be here, so I'm bending a veil, a normal veil as we did before. But now the white gosh, I play more right brained in the park and take your flat brush and drag the pain towards Donald direction. Just a single drag is sufficient if you think the white color is not sufficiently pure flat Britian, right, watch and do the same. Remove the excess paint and do the same. Don't overdo it over doing well. Always spoil. Give one stroke at a time and see if it is sufficient or not. Then go for the end of that stroke. See, I feel there is less light in the don't know part, so I'm taking wash again and clean my brush to remove excess wash pain and continuing the drag from where I feel there is less light. See, we can see the race. This is that simple well, again, pain somewhere around here. So let's apply some pain. Looks play a with white wash and with your flat brush this dragged it being see help. Simple disease I am using only flat brush is because just one stroke is sufficient here. The off the race is perfect with the Flatbush. If we take languish, we get fine lines so that we don't need. So I'm using a flat British salutes. Pain graves here, a small of a smaller light tree, some dining. It is here. No, this part is also finished. We'll do more. Highlights two waves by adding white wash. See, I'm marrying White Wash to some parts off the waves just to highlight them, just to give more definition and more depth to them. So I want to add a more doctor. Don't do some parts of the waves to create more the taco value waves at some places. - And yeah, we had done. Now let's add water bubbles here in the waters surrounding water again, we need wide Bush thes are the places that I want about the bubbles to be. The place with satellite is coming, so I'm covering the remaining place with some rap shields and tap your wash loaded brush with the British as we do inventing stars so to paint smaller droplets. I'm doing this and do this in the remaining parts too. See how adding race and bubbles changed the entire picture? - See , now our painting has got some beautiful character, so I love this part very much. Hiring highlights part. It will give life to our enter pending. So let's do some final status and that's it are underwater. Scene is ready and hope you really enjoy this. After your paper is dried completely, peel off the masking tape and see half a pint. Final piece looks well, this is looking beautiful. I really enjoy this process off bringing this underwater scene to life Hope you also feel the same and get ready to feel and experience the same with your own painting studio. See you in the next class project 7. CLASS PROJECT 2 PART 1: Now let's do the second glass project. So I'll be sure you have gained some confidence painting water under order. So with that confidence, like small to the classroom, so I'll show you a blueprint off a class project. I have painted this scene on a small ship to see how everything works. Now we're going to paint this on a bigger sheet. That is a bullshit. And this is the sky pot. These are the waves on. This is water and this will be the ocean bed for the main color we're using. Here is tough boys blue mixed with blue. And we have to learn one more important technique to finish this piece that is lifting technique, the pain, this portion bag. This water we have learned in techniques, class and waves is a kind of similar to what we have done in the first class project. So now let's learn the lifting technique, poverty, the small picnic and easy one. I'm taking a small drop sheet. I'm a plane pain to the background from they re lift paint to get a break from some blues I'm using in here. So this technique works when the paper is still red. So after applying the color, I'm washing my British And so you carefully. I'm watching my brush so that it is dry and I'm wiping off Alexis water and no, just go along the area sped. You want to lift the paint and they yawn. There should be no pain after lifting ones for sure. Grecia game Since the brush might have picked the pain from the background on again, clean your brush and do the same again. See, this is the beauty off article s and remember to do this part when the paper is back, If the paper dries, this will not work. See, this is a small lengths in protecting that we're going to use here. So don't get for you to paint or a larger piece. I make it simpler and try the painting always on a small sheet to see how the color works and how peace will come together. And with this confidence, you can move on to be given to a bigger piece. So with my Princeton flat brush, I'm betting Baghran since we used it on technique in this based on I'm reading myself. Iss even lead with missile a black velvet wrong brush. I'm going to paint the sky first. So this class project is different from the 1st 1 in some ways and kind of similar. In some ways, you can see how we paint to differences, using simple and basic techniques that everyone use who do watercolor. So here I left one spot, one sport in the sky that is the place from where light is coming and that's it with the sky So simple one. I used a lighter tone off ultramarine blue to pay in the sky. - CIA have painted this guy in 1/4 part off the sheet. No, let Spain waves. So the color that we're going to use east a toys blue mixed with blue This pain the waves using random strokes as we did in the first class project. And don't forget to add to leave some white spaces in between these lines, their present apart from where the light is passing through. Don't worry, if the waves blending to each other as we're using this with that Andre pregnant, they will blend into each other, but make sure there are some white spaces in between them. If there are no by spaces. And if you're pain blending so much so use the lifting technique and lift off some pain to get some whites basis. Okay? And this is just a based court. A base layer will finally paint faves and wet on dry technique, you know, Now it is done. Let's pain ocean bed part mixing. The chorus blew and blew the same shape that we use mostly in this piece. - No , I'm bending water. See, I'm bending only some, but to give some abstract Mr the Peace and this technique we have learned in our techniques , class of it on with only own specific parts I'm living the ocean read part and painting water and there at the place with the ultimate ends See, on the top off water the waves blended into each other So don't worry. So now I'm mixing DACA tone off the share to increase the saturation and are playing another layer. Now I'm bailing ocean bed. I'm dropping back a tone there and now we lose a lifting technique to create the beautiful lines that we generally see on the ocean beds. This drop the pain here and there. Don't get fear with your piece. So if anything goes wrong in this layer, don't worry. They'll be under layer and you can make everything right in the other layers. No, I'm washing my brush and wiping off the excess water and lifting the pain. See how I'm lifting the pain With each lift, I'm watching my brush to remove the pain that it had lifted from the paper and wiping off the excess footer I'm doing. I'm continuing the process again to make checks in the ocean bed. - So now we are done with the first layer and let's wait for this to dry. So now off a slayer is try and we're done with the layer one, and it is strike completely and ready to make take next wash. If you see I'm cleaning my brushes using one and I'm a playing wash using an other one. So with the clean water, I'm are playing washes. I'm cleaning brushes using only one jar of water. I'm keeping him eligible for applying Baghran washes, So now I play voted to the Baghlan in the same way as we did in the first class project. So now this is evenly red. Let's do the second layer, same as the 1st 1 Go over the firstly and pain some pain, the same with increasing tonal value. Go over the places where you have painted raves in the first layer. - No , on the devotion, but again, just absolute. You can get a lot off things. You can catch a lot of things just by observing. And now with the doctor toner value, I'm going over the water again that we have done the first layer now with more increase of saturation. Now I'm again doing the same with the ocean, right as we did in the first layer, I'm dropping like a stone off turquoise, blue and blue in some parts of the ocean bed. And then I used the lifting technique. So again, I wash my brush in Texas water in going over. The place is lifting off the paint where I don't want the pain to be dipping this process several times to lift off more pain. - So now I'm sprinkling some pain to give some liveliness and that track nous. - So again, let's give this some time to dry so that we can add highlighting part. See you in the second part of this glass project to see how all pending comes to life. See you there 8. CLASS PROJECT 2 PART 2: Hey, gaze up ever is now completely dried and waiting to get beautiful. So as in the blueprint, let's paint waves in the same way as we did in the project one using my silver Blackwell background fresh. This step is very fine. This pressure has a find. This makes very fine lines as well as bold strokes to there's the reason for this fresh to be many artists favorite. So this is the area that we're going to paint now. Use tip off your brush to paint These random lines don't paint uniform lines. Beauty off shapes can be thes unevenness. You can vote this closely now, And while a playing these waves don't go with the same tonal value all over, use different values. So this is the part from their light is coming. So in this spot, the base will baby plus a toner value than remaining parts. See, I'm using greater total value on the left side and lower tonal value that I'm going to use on the right side for guys. Now I'll quit talking sometime you observe the breast drugs and see how a pending is turning out. Magical. See now if this part is done. Now, wait for this part too dry so that we can go over that and pain with more DACA value to give definition to our waves for the darker value color I makes him indigo, turquoise, blue and blue Ming's go over the strokes we read earlier. And if you observe to get a doctor either adding indigo or black, so add black when you want the color to be more darker. And I'm adding indigo toe, eliminate that black paint just to give a darker tone so and wanting to learn here his guys 300 years, um, and 100% quarter on paper is compulsory to achieve the same result as you're seeing here. So try using 100 person quarter and three energies On paper. The paper quality is very, very important. Achieve this result not because the cost or not, because anything else just because 100% quarter pepper, observe small water. See, we are doing many layers here, so the paper should be quality enoughto observed. All these layers and the paper should be thick enough. Take all these layers, so this is so important, and I'm frequently asked by so many people that I can achieve the same result as we're getting. So the difference is just the paper quality use 100 plus important ones and you definitely 80. This results. So the paper quality alone don't give these results. So you have to try harder and improve your skills to see I'm adding dark atonal waves on the top off the lighter tone runs. So remember one thing. Watercolor always drives 30% lighter when it is wet. So always use the color with more tonal value. If you want, there is hell to be more brighter. And if you see here, I'm painting dark a tonal values over the lighter ones. And I'm not feeling the entire area off the under layer. So I'm just going over some parts. Just give that we've effect. - So we had done with space spot No light rays coming from these places before dark. Let's add some water sparkles here, but the Sprinkles in these parts in the water park for this we're going to use Toad Bresch . You might think Vie told brush by not tapping one brush with others, as we do in painting starts. So I'm covering, uh, the places where I don't want pain to be with some rap sheets. This is the area where I want the pain to be on. So I covered the remaining places. So yeah, the reason is when we paint using tapping, we get some big droplets. And here I don't want that. I want some beautiful water Sprinkles, many off them off smaller seders. So I'm using the stick Me. So I'm mixing doctor tone after quiet's blue and blue. And now I'm taking some old too fresh and dipping that crash in the pain and use your finger in this way to Sprinkle pain. We have a way of getting small, tiny droplets. This small part cannot highlight or painting. Can I More definition toe pending. Smaller things matter a lot in defining the complete finding, and now I'm sprinting on the other side to So we have done with this and I want to Sprinkle . Some vied the water droplets, so it right gosh relied the white water droplets. So before adding the by droplets, let's add some highlights in the way of spot. I had some light waves lives with wide gosh paint on the X randomly, and they can add more depth. Will raves don't overdo anything over doing can really spoil our painting. - So now Blake's at White Bubbles here discovered the places where you don't want the pain of its Toby and white wash. Nor did fish as you do implanting stars, and I'm sprinkling to get smaller bubbles and do the same on the other side of the world to let's try to add some timing fishes. Here I am taking turquoise and with the miniature brush upside zero. I'm bending the stein officious, knowing it off much details. This tiny shape will be good here, and we have come to the final part of a painting that is adding light race. So we will do this in the same way as we did in other first class project. I'm mixing white wash and with the flag brush this drag pain from the top part, I said, the light sorts is see how this give a beautiful effect off light rays falling through the water. - So oh, finally we're finished. This is a blueprint. This is how our pending supposed to be, and I think we achieve that. No, let's get to the favorite part toe. Everyone that they stay. Bill for a bill is exciting because we come to see our final painting with this. And of course, the sowed makes it even more satisfying. So OK, guys, we just finished up her second gas project. Do see how we achieve be spending with all the simple steps and techniques. Hope you enjoy this. So don't get afraid Painting these with all the techniques you have learned before and with all the simple steps you can paint this too signing off. 9. Conclusion: So, Prince, Now that we have come to the final part of the class, let machine my dogs. I guess after the class in might be turned in there and the water level, I always will mesmerized with all these underwater scenes, I have attached these different pictures in the glass. You can use them for practice and we painted these two different scenes with the same technique. You can also pain thes in this picture. Three lighters from the top way have learned that on portion back and we have to learn that . And this one the light rays, the ocean bad and the waves. We have learned all that. And in this piece, the light wrist waves you can are different animals like these. So everything we have learned in the class, so dry painting the friend scenes with the techniques we have learned. And one important thing to be noted here is use only 100% quarter pepper to achieve the same result, 100 person court pepper is necessary to observe all the layers that we do since we do many years here. So guys hope you enjoy this class. I'm waiting eagerly to see all of your class projects You can follow me on Instagram to learn more off these kind off paintings on my instagram handle.
