Project Description

Create a Fantasy Weapon

Assignment

Take a sketch of your imagined (or not) fantasy weapon into Adobe Illustrator and make a beautiful piece of vector art!

Through this assignment you will learn to:

  • Create a sketch from gathered resources and inspiration
  • Use Adobe Illustrator (or your preferred software) to recreate your sketch with simple shapes and paths
  • Plan out your colour scheme by starting in grayscale
  • Use gradients to add shadows and reflections to your art

Deliverable

Upload your finished fantasy weapon! For bonus points, provide some screenshots of your process along with any tips you may have discovered during the making of your project.

Resources

If anyone wants to go into my Illustrator file and pick it apart, be my guest! I've attached it here :)
