I signed up for this class because I already knew that the instructor is very knowledgeable and a good presenter. And indeed, the class was well organized, the lectures were meaty, answers to questions were always thoughtful and relevant. For someone who wants to master this material, it's a great opportunity! This was also my first time taking an online class, and there were a few things I noticed about that. For one thing, Skillshare is a bit cavalier about live sessions with the instructor. They say that you can view the recording, and this is true, but what they don't say is that you don't INTERACT with the instructor. You need to post questions in advance and just wait and see whether the answer turns out to be something you can understand and use. If you were expecting a Skype or a Webex type of experience, you will be surprised. And of course, what you get out of an online class depends on what you put into the assignments....
This is very well led and thoughtfully structured class. As I am new in IA and UX it gave me so much information and valuable resources. It made a good base for my future learning in IA and UX.
This course is an incredible value! In addition to gaining access to Eva's considerable expertise, the course includes excellent readings and resources.
