About This Class
In this class, I will teach you how to take your average paper scraps and turn them into matchbook style notepads. These make great swag bag items, party favors, stocking stuffers, and promotional giveaways, and it only takes a few minutes to make an entire batch.
Skill requirements are very basic, as are the materials, and I will show you all you need to know in my class as we go along.
Class Projects 2 See All
I've been a creative person for as long as I can remember, and that is something my mother fostered in my siblings and me, she being into the arts herself. I recall making handmade bookmarks and paper dolls with my sisters. As we grew older, our interests dispersed, even though we still pursued creative lines.
The path I chose during high school was that of card making and design. Paper always seemed to be the thing I came back to, even when I took up other crafts along the way. I still can't let go of my paper passion, and I really don't see a need to do so.
Having earned my degree in graphic design, I utilize the digital aspects of the craft, and often the two largest aspects of my creative world merge. In most cases, the end result still entails paper or some sort or the other.
Many things inspire me! There are never enough days for me to accomplish all that I have in mind, but it is my hope to share some of what goes on inside my mind with as many as I can touch. Several life experiences have taught me that "every cloud has a silver lining." Many times, things don't work out quite the way I'd anticipated, but that often leads in directions I would not have chosen otherwise. I endeavor to see my clouds as silver and not gray, and I am constantly delighted by what I find. Here's to hoping that you will be, too!
