About This Class


This one of kind Japanese beef udon recipe  was past down to me by my father in law. He's one of the best Japanese chief in Canada and has been cooking for all his life. This classic dish can easily made your own by using other ingredients such as Chicken, seafood or vegetable. Not only a favorite to adults but it's a hit with my little girls at home!


6 Servings

Soup Broth

16 cups water
Hondashi Powder  80ml
Low Sodium Soy Sauce 60ml
Mirin 60ml
Sake Cooking Wine 60ml
Sugar 2,5ml
White Onion 1/2 

Beef sauce

Low sodium soy sauce 30ml
Mirin 30ml
Sake Cooking Wine 30ml
Pinch of sugar

Stir fry the other half of onion with butter, add beef sauce and cook beef
