Welcome to Students : Before knowing how to improve your productivity, it is essential to know what are the activities you're involved in decreases our productivity. And because of that, we are not able to perform at our best. Because of this unproductive activities. We are losing our most valuable time. We end up working more and more with less results. Are work-life balance is totally disturbed. We are not able to focus on other aspects of our life which are equally important. And so it is affecting our overall growth. There are 50 and productive activities we do, which I will share with you. You might have some of them or maybe all. But the thing is, being aware what exactly is causing us to not perform well, do not perform at our best. What I want is to recognize what's yours. This section is toward bringing you awareness towards your actions. What is holding you back, which is not helping you to perform at your best. Any major change can't happen the top consistent and conscious action. But before that, we have to see our previous actions. We have to see our past actions which haven't served us, so we don't end up repeating them. See you in the next video. 3. Overworking : The first thing you might be doing, which is making you unproductive, is overworking. From childhood, we are taught to work hard, to study hard for a longer time so we can get better results, so we can score more. Mux is the time now when most of you are employed, are working with one of the finest companies. And companies are expecting from you to vote for them for longer time. To spend your most of the time working for the company's, expecting that it will produce better results and you will do more productivity. But is that the case? Signs doesn't save that if you are working 40 hours per week, that means in a day you're working for a task, five days in a week, then you will be extremely productive. You will be good at what you will do and also you will produce quality work. It can be extended to 50 hours per week. But if you're doing anything above 55 hours a week, it will impact your productivity. You won't be able to produce quality work because you won't be able to focus on your work. You will feel tired because it will also have impact on your other aspects of your life, personal life, social life. Also, it will have a reverse effect on your health. So remember a simple equation. More as is not equal to more productivity, we are to focus on quality work instead of giving more time to a task. So if you have overworking, it is one of the reason which is making you and producting. So start focusing on quality well, instead of quantity work, don't you? More time, but you focus time to the things which you are doing which will make you more productive. 4. Multitasking : The second thing you might be doing is multitasking. Many people are probably saying that they are heavy multitaskers. But is that the case? No, because multi-tasking is not a fact. When we see we have multitasking, actually what we're doing is switching our task. The task switching can be slow or fast, depends on your speed. But what it does is it decreases your productivity. Sciences that when who try to multitask or would try to do many things at once, decrease this is productivity by 40 percent. Can you imagine by multitasking, he's losing his productivity by 40 percent. I remember one of the incident when I was working as a business development manager, I was looking after the marketing thing. I was looking after logistics. I was looking at pre-sales and lots of activities I will just doing simultaneously. And what it does, it was impacting my productivity and it was also causes me stress. But when I started focusing on only one thing at a time, it improved my productivity because one who multitask concentration level and his focus brought drastically, if attention span reduces, evoked able to focus on one thing for a longer time because they have trained his mind to do lots of things at once. And it also makes us less mentally organized. It will be a good thing if it can batch the things which we are doing, we can batch something which we want to do one thing at a time. So if you are doing multitasking than you are definitely impacting the productivity. So consider doing one thing at a time. It will be a good option. 5. Distraction : The third thing you wide me doing, which is making you unproductive is distraction. Just assume you're working on something important and you got a call from someone, or you got a message from someone. You've got a mail from someone. You just saw the notification in your mobile or someone just drag your doorbell. What it does, it broke your connectivity with the thing which you are doing. And now after you broke this connectivity, you find it extremely difficult to focus again on your work. Does it happen with you? Few days back when I was reading a book, the productivity revolution. The author was saying, every time you lose your focus from the thing which you are doing, it takes you seven to 15 minutes to refocus again on the things which you were doing. Assume your desktop ten times in a day like this. Then at the worst, you are losing 70 minutes a day and the worst for us per day. Can you imagine so much of productivity lost so much of time? Anything which is switching our focus from the thing which you are doing is distraction. Maybe your thoughts too. So it is extremely important that you should avoid this distractions so you can be more productive and the best way is to set your priorities straight and you don't have to focus other than things that you're doing right now. Just try to remember, what are your distractions in your day-to-day lives in your office, in your whole water. The distractions, which is switching our focus from the things which we are doing right now and distracting your work. Just think and recollect it. 6. Unhealthy Routines: The fourth thing which you might be doing is unhealthy routines. What do I mean by that? From the moment you're waking up till the night, you're going to sleep, you're always following your routines. Routing includes your sleeping pattern, your eating habits, your physical activities. And it has major impact on your productivity because you will feel productive when you have sufficient amount of sleep for you, for your body to rest. When you have your eating habits right in place and you're providing nourishment to your body so it can perform at their optimum lemon because of work which are doing, which will only be possible when you have sufficient amount of energy in your body, which you've gathered from your eating habits and also your physical activities. If you have some physical activities in your routines, you will feel energetic for the day. Have you experienced a different level of energy in your body when you're doing physical activity in your morning. And then you're carrying on with their daily activities which you're doing. And when you're not doing any physical activities and just running to the office to do your regular work. Have you monitor that difference between the energy levels? And the same is with your sleeping patterns and your eating habits. If you haven't thought about this, just give it a thought and start noticing how was your schedule, How was your routines, and how it is impacting your productivity, and how it is impacting their quality of work as it is all about your body's energy level and everything which is impacting your body energy level, it will have impact on your productivity. So provide light nourishment to your body. Provide sufficient sleep and rest to your body. Provide energy by doing some physical activities. So you can feel energized for the day and the whole day. You can be able to produce results which you are looking for. 7. Unclear Goals: The fifth thing that you might be doing, which is impacting your productivity, is you're not setting goals. Are you're unclear about your goals. Just assume you're going to a supermarket to buy some stuff for your home. But without any list, you're not clear what exactly you want. Now as in what will be the condition when you go there? You will by the stubs which you don't need because you're not clear what exactly do you want and what quantity do you want it. But when you are prepared, you have your list with you and you know what are the things you want to buy. You will go there Exactly. We pick that thing which you want in exactly quantity, which is required by you. How strange is that people are going for shopping and that, and getting that list ready. But they're not clear about the day shadowed which they are doing today. Setting your daily goals are setting up monthly goals. Yearly goals is extremely important because you will be able to track the things you did wrong, what are the things you did try it, and how the things which you did have impacted your productivity and your results. Especially I was able to experience this in sales. People are giving fails person a specific target to achieve. Sometimes they're achieving it and sometimes they're not. But the thing is, they have some reference. They have something to work for. If they achieved that. They have a landmark, which they will work next time too. So this is the same with us. We have to set a goal which you want to achieve. We are able to achieve or not, that's a different game. But we should have some goals for the day. If you haven't said concrete and clear goals for yourself for the day, then start setting a goal for your day, for the month, for a year. So actually you can see your progress so you can be productive and you can achieve your results which are looking for. 8. Identify your tasks affect on you: Hey, welcome to this section. In the first section we have discussed what are the activities which are making you unproductive? And if you aren't doing any of them, you need to avoid. In this section, we are going to discuss what drives your productivity. There are two key elements, which includes the task you are doing. There are some tasks you are extremely passionate about. You love doing that task. You are excited while you do the task. And there are some tasks which you are not excited about. That task you are doing involves your energy. What do I mean by that? It requires your energy. It requires your time. It requests your effort to complete that task. And these are the two key elements which are required which drives your productivity. And in this specific video, we are going to discuss the effects that task have on you. There are some tasks which you are less passionate about, but it takes a lot of your energy. This task takes everything away from you. You don't feel excited while doing the task. And the reward is also not tagged grade. And it also take lot of time to accomplish it because you have to give lot of effort, a lot of your time in completing the task. For example, you can think of the weekly report you have to submit of your work and you have to submit it to your company, to your boss. You may be extremely passionate about the work you're doing. But the report thing, which takes a lot of your time and maybe you're not so passionate about it. And it will drain your energy. And there are many such things which actually drains your energy. And the things which actually drains your energy are the worst of them all. Because you're putting a lot of efforts into the things that you're not passionate about. And there are some tasks which are low in passion and low in energy to men's, you're not passionate about that task and nor it requires a lot of energy, but it keeps you busy. Yes, this Alto, small daily tasks which we are doing, which are not of significance or which are not so important, and we have to deal with them on daily basis. This task as simple, that don't take much energy or time. But the problem with this task is the quantity. This other minor tasks which keep you busy. You might have diverted this time this energy to do more meaningful task. And this task is taking a lot of your time because it comes in quantity. You can think of weekly meetings or daily meetings, and also some unnecessary calls. Or you can also think of some business calls, some sales calls, which are taking a lot of your time. And these are the task which is keeping you busy. There are some tasks which are of high passion and low energy. And this task actually provides you and fill you with immense energy. This task above it, you're doing something you are extremely passionate about and you don't feel like you're doing much effort while doing that task. You can think of activity which you love doing, like playing your favorite sport, or maybe playing your instrument, which he loved playing. And you don't know when that time has lapsed. You just enjoy the process. You go with the flow and you enjoyed the things which you are doing. The thing we have to watch out is it shouldn't become our comfort zone because we love doing it with don't feel when the time has lapsed so fast. And if this task are not important, we will end up doing more of this things without getting a specific result and the outcome which are looking for. There are some tasks which require your high energy and high fashion. This includes your most significant and rewarding tasks which you are extremely passionate about. Like you can think of your side hustle, you're working on edX passionately because you want to build your side business. Or maybe you're working on your startup and you are putting lot of your time and efforts because you have a vision you are working towards, or you can think of a leadership role. You have been recently promoted in your company and you have different role, but you're enjoying the process, but you have to keep doing a lot of effort for your team so your team can perform. And so accordingly you can perform. These are more challenging task than the previous one, but the rewards are more significant, more meaningful, and it will have a long-term effect. Okay, Then in this video, we have discussed there are some task which drains you. There are some tasks which actually provides you energy. There are some task which keep you busy. There are some tasks which are actually your purpose. In the next video, we will discuss what are the strategies and can apply to deal with different types of task. See you in the next video. 9. Strategies to deal with tasks : What you can do with the task which are actually draining you, which is of low passion, and which requests a lot of your effort, a lot of your energy. If you are doing something which doesn't excite you, it is draining you, it is making you empty, and it is time to act fast. You have to simplify the things which you are doing. What do I mean by simplify it? Can you eliminate some of the task which is draining you? Or you can delegate it to someone else so they can deal with it instead of you doing it. Is it possible? For example, I'm creating the content, I'm shooting this video, and I absolutely loved the process. I love doing these things. But what I don't love much is video editing. So what I do, I outsource this video content to others so they can do it efficiently without taking much of my time. Can I do video editing? Absolutely, I can do it. But it takes a lot of my time, lot of my efforts. So how you can do the things which is draining you? Can you outsource it? Can you delegate it to others? Can you eliminate some of the things which will ease your load and which won't take much of your energy. So you can use their energy in doing more meaningful and impactful things. Now there are things which are keeping you busy, which are of low passion and low energy. As we discussed, it won't take much of your time, but take comes in quantity and it is constantly keeping you busy. So what we can do is we need to prioritize. If you look at the whole day, you will think, I have tons of things to do when you will prioritize that day and the task which you are doing the whole day, you will notice a pattern. There are only 20 percent of the things which you are doing will be productive and 80 percent of the things and just distractions and this and keeping you busy. So most of the things which you are doing, which you need to prioritize, and most of the distractions. And this distractions you need to avoid if you want to be productive. So you need to prioritize what are your top priorities so you can focus on them. List out the things which you need to prioritize and categorize them as critical, not so critical. And unnecessary. Llc will take the whole day. You have a lot of bucket lists. You need to complete it, but most of the things are unnecessary and you are focusing your energy in mean busy for the things which won't give you much results. Now think of your daily shadows and the things which are doing on daily basis. And you think this is taking a lot of your time and categorize this three of these categories. First is which is extremely critical, which is important for you to accomplish it. And the second is not so critical, and the third is unnecessary. And the unnecessary bucket list, you need to extremely eliminate or delete it because it is taking just your time. But it is not providing you results or any sort of benefit or any meaning to the things that you're doing. This will make you feel uneasy. But this is important because this will make you extremely clear what you need to do and walk you won't need to do because you can utilize your energy in that right and appropriate way. And now there are some tasks which is of high passion and low energy. And what it does it provide you energy? It refuse your energy. Do you need to eliminate that? Not at all. There are some things which he loved doing. You must do it as a thing gives. You should be aware of the time you're spending on doing the task. Use this energy to give you strength to deal with all the difficult circumstances which will come in your way. And now extremely important, there are some tasks which are of high energy and high passion. And this area of passion projects, which you must be giving your time. But there are many destruction on the way. There are your social media, there are your television, there are unnecessary talks, unnecessary meetings which you need to avoid to get this task on the track. So you need to defend. You are long-term projects Because decide your long-term commitments. So any activity which you are doing, which is making you powerless, miss any activity which is taking your time away from you, and which is of not much significance. You need to avoid it and you have to defend the things which you want to accomplish for the long haul. And you need to spend your time doing that thing, which will give you meaningful and long-term rewards. Keep doing it. 10. Activity for you : Hey, congratulations to you. You have learned the effects that tasks have on you. And you have also learned the strategies to deal with them efficiently. And now what I want is aligning your daily schedule, your task, with the activity which I have provided in that below document, there is a document I have attached in this section that is the activity table which you have pre-filled in the task that section, you have to fill all the tasks which are important to you or the task which you are doing daily. But you are not able to prioritize it or you're not able to plan it. And in the next row, you can see energy section. Energy that is low energy and high-energy. That task which you're going to do, is it off low energy or high energy? You have to pick that section. Is it low or high? And that is a role of passion. Is it off low passion or high passion? You have to pick that portion and the next row is impact on you. What do you need to write is, is that task draining you? Is it keeping you busy? Does it fill you with energy or is it your purpose? What exactly that task have effect on you? In the next row, you're going to write, what are the action you're going to take to tackle that particular task like this, you have to fill all the tasks that you're doing in a day. So you will have a clear vision. So you can have a clear idea how you're spending most of your time on the activities. And does it really important? Or if it is not important, you can utilize that time in more important and productive activities. It will be great if you can complete this activity, you can take a printout or you can note it down in your diary or in your book, and you can complete that task. You can write it down. See you in the next section. 11. State of Flow : Hey, welcome to this section. We're going to talk on a very important topic which will help you to improve your productivity and your performance, which is called flow state. Maybe you have heard about flow state. You have read it somewhere. You have saw some videos. But in this video, we are going to talk about the implementation of the flow state. How you can implement the flow state in your schedule, in your work so you can improve your performance and get the result which you are looking for and for back you have enrolled in this course, right? We're not going to talk on conceptual basis. We are going to talk about the implementation part of the flow state. But before implementing it, having a basic overview, what exactly East flow state will help us to implement it perfectly efficient key, the concept of flow state had been heard from 18 seventies. No one believed that such a state called flow state exist and it will actually improve anyone's performance. But from 1950s, the psychologist have got sufficient proofs that actually the flow state exist. There were athletes, there were artists, there were writers that were painters, that were inventors who was using the state of flow and what psychologists have saw in this, all peoples were, they were performing at their peak when they were inflow state. So what exactly is flow state? You have some challenge you're working towards. This is your task, and this is your skill set lens through which you will complete your task. And when this two are in total alignment, which is not too difficult and which is not too easy. That perfect zone is called flow state. And in that zone, you are performing at your optimum level because you have that skill set and the challenge which you are doing, which is not too easy and which is not too difficult, but it is challenging enough that it motivates you to do that task. And it is a zone when you are in control of the situation, you feel that you can do the task when there is a lack of challenge, you feel apathy. You feel Bolden, you feel relaxed. While when the challenge is too extreme, you feel worried, you feel anxiety, you feel arouse him. So it is important that the task which you are selecting, it should be in the zone when you are able to focus on that task, which is not so challenging, but it is challenging enough, which is matching up with your skill set. Because in that flow state, you're extremely focused and concentrated on the task which you have. You're able to use your creativity at your peak. That time just flies when you're in flow state. And the motivation is from intrinsic, you have the desire to achieve excellence in the thing that you're doing. And sense of all worries, all concerned, just flies away. You're not worried about the world because you're totally focused. You are totally concentrated on the work which I have on hand. And if you could develop this ability, if you could learn the ability which we are talking about, you will be able to deliver. You will be able to create a masterpiece. There is a four-step process you need to follow to enter in the flow state. And each step has its own significance. So learn and grab the details of the video, which I will be sharing with you, the four-step. See you in the next video. 12. Monitor State of mind : The first step is monitor your state of mind. Just tell me if you're working towards something and you are stressed, you're worried, you're anxious. So will you be able to focus on that task and achieve the results? That is not possible. Because if you're stressed while doing the task, if you are worried, you won't be able to deliver a quality product. So it is essential that you should have a right state of mind to achieve the results which you are looking for. So the thing is how you can achieve the right state of mind while working towards subtask, the prime thing, that key thing, while working towards any task which is significant to you, is you should be in a happy state of mind. Any activity which you are doing, which is making you feel good about yourself, which is making you in the right state of mind, like happiness, joy, love. It will feel you relaxed. And when your mind is relaxed and then you're going to work or you're doing that task, the chances that you will perform extremely well at that task increases drastically. So any activity that brings you peace of mind is the right one for you to do before initiating any task which you want to accomplish. And the task should be something very personalized to you. Like for me, the activity which makes me relaxed is meditation, is yoga or going for a long walk. So before starting my coaching session or before I have something to read, or before shooting my videos, I have this activities are lying to me. So just note down the thing which is making you happier. It can be some hobby, it can be some entertainment to you. It can be physical exercise too, but it is very personalized to you what you feel, what is making you more relaxed at the moment. And this is the very first step to enter into the flow state. If you're not able to be happy or you're not relaxed, you won't be able to produce outstanding results. So if you are in office environment, you are in home, or you're going from some important meeting. So what activity which you can do before the task, which will make you more relaxed and which will make you happier. Like if you're going for a meeting, if you're going for an interview, you can just listen to some music. You can listen to some music which will make you feel better, or you can call someone you love. You will have that feeling of happiness and which will be reflected, then you will start the task and it will actually help you to be in that state of flow is so just try to trace out in your situation, in your personal life situation, what are the activities you love doing, which will make you happier, which will make you relaxed and help you achieve that state of mind. 13. CCS: In the first step, you have created a right state of mind, a happy state of mind. And in the second step, which is quite interesting, you can remember it by name C, C, S. What is ECS? First fees challenging. Second C is clarity. And the third S is specific to the task which you have going to select. The task which you are going to do. It should be challenging enough. It shouldn't be so off low challenge that you don't have that motivation to work towards that challenge. It should have a challenging aspect to it. It should be challenging enough. Tasks which are going to do. It should have a clarity. You should be absolutely clear about what you want to do and what is the outcome you're going to expect by doing that task. This is so very important because if you don't have a concrete idea, concrete vision about why you're doing the task and what is the outcome you are going to achieve. You won't be able to have a focused vision on the task which you have on your hand. And the third is, you have to be specific. You don't have to do two or three things at a time. You have to take one specific thing and you have to set that task with a focused vision. And only you have that vision and you have one target which you're focusing on. If you want to burn a paper with a laser, which type of laser will you prefer? When has a narrow vision to it and one has scattered vision to it. It has spread all over the place, which will be more powerful. Absolutely the narrow vision, because it will be so focused on that particular point. So it will be able to burn it. And the same is with our mind and our energy. If you're focused on one particular topic, on one particular task, we will be able to perform it excellently well, and we will be mastering that particular task and particular skill. And we will be able to produce a quality product which won't be produced if we're focusing on too many tasks at once. So select your high priority task, which is challenging enough for you, which is clear. You have a clear vision, what the outcome you need, and you have to be extremely focused on that one particular task. So you will be able to master that and you are able to produce a quality results which you're working towards. 14. Supporting Environment : The first step, you have developed a right state of mind, a happier state of mind. In the second, you have worked on CCS. In the third step, you have to create a supporting environment. For example, assume that I'm working towards writing my book, and that is a lot of noises near me that have many children's, there are many phones ringing. There's continuously emails, not my environment is supporting me and I won't be able to focus on the task. So it is extremely important if you want to achieve that, you have to create a supportive environment. For example, if I'm working on a book, I'm going to a specific place that are low noise, there are no distractions at all. The area is so silent and so calm, so I'm able to think and work on my creativity. So I have lots of time for myself so I can think and put my thoughts into the words. So you had to clear all the distractions and you have to align the environment according to the task which you are doing. Have you experienced this? That sometimes even if the environment is supporting your vision, the task which you are doing right now, then to your mind is scattered and you're thinking of lot of things instead of things which you have on your hand. It is okay if you're getting distracted for a few seconds, but if you have lots of things running in your mind, which you're gathering from the environment, which is also impacting the quality of your work and you're not able to focus. What I do and what I would suggest is, right, sticky notes. And in that sticky notes, write what you want to achieve and place it near your desk, near your Vogue, near you, or place where you are mostly doing your work. So whenever you are defocus from your work or having your vision to that sticky note. And you're reminding yourself that the task which you're doing is important to you. Then you're refocusing your focus on the task which you were doing at the first place. So you can have vision boards, you can have a few questions for you, which all are reminding you that how important the task which you have on your hand is the prime one. And you need to focus on that task. 15. Setting Deadline : The fourth step is setting deadline. If you're working towards some goal, if you are working towards a vision, you're working to accept task. But if you haven't assigned any time for how much time you will work on that vision, on that task, you won't be able to be productive while doing the task. But what happens? But what happens if you affect our time of two hours or three hours, which you won't be able to achieve, which is not realistic for you than it is difficult that you will achieve that time. So that technique, which I used and I found it extremely helpful, which is called Pomodoro principle. It is a 25, five rule. What is that? You have to work on the task which you have on your hand for straight 25 minutes. Without taking any breaks, without any distraction, you have to set a timer beside you for 25 minutes. After completing that 25 minutes, you have to take a break for five minutes and you have to repeat this cycle for four times. And after completing four times, you have to take break or 15 to 20 minutes. I have worked with this principle and I've found it extremely helpful because 25 minute is a time which we can easily do. We can easily work for 25 minutes straight, but it is extremely difficult if you're setting a time for two hours, for three years or straight many hours to work on a single task. But if you are doing 25 minutes, taking a break for five minutes, you are able to repeat that cycle. You're not breaking the chain, but still you are continuing in the same cycle, which will help you to achieve that task much faster without losing your focus if you haven't tried this, drive this technique 25 five rule is extremely beneficial technique. These are the four steps which you can use to enter the flow state to improve your performance and produce a quality work which you have on your hand. But wait, don't miss the bonus. This is something which will extremely help you while working towards their task and improving their productivity. See you in the next video. 16. Bonus: Productivity Time: At what time of the day you feel you're most productive? Have you ever given a thought on this? The people were extremely successful there. So aware of their body cycle, then know at what time of the day they are so productive and what time of the day they're not so productive. Like for artists and writers, nighttime is the best time where they have the flow of ideas. They can write the things, they can improve their productivity. They can bring their thoughts into the physical reality. If you know your peak productivity time, congratulations. If you don't know, I will share a thumb rule with you, which will help you a lot. Have you experienced in the morning time, you have more energy to work towards? If you don't know, if you don't have any time slot in which you know that your product to start by doing your most important tasks in the morning time. It is the time when you have lot of energy and you have less distractions. So if you are utilizing your morning time in doing the task which are not so important, you're losing your most valuable energy into the less important task. So start your morning by doing some very important and meaningful task. By the end of one month, you will see drastic results because you will be able to achieve much more things in the morning compared to the whole day because it is your productive time. If you know what I mean, after lunchtime of craft them dying, your body will start getting bored, more relaxed. You don't feel like working if you're pushing your work in the afternoon time, the possibility is that it will be pushed on the next day. So the best thing is, would the most important tasks into the front seat. If you are a person who wakes up early at four or five, that is a prominent time, then you will be able to produce a good work. You will be able to plan a lot of things if you wake up at that time. But whenever you wake up, you plan the whole day, how you will prioritize the thing, how we will utilize the whole day for you by starting the most important task and ending up with the least important one. So even if you miss the least important one, you will be achieving most of your tasks by covering the first and the most important ones in the first place. See you in the next section. 17. Rule to Stop Procrastination : Hey, welcome to this section. We will learn some top productive rules which you can apply in your life and you can improve your productivity and performance. The first rule, which I will share with you is called two minute rule. It is one of the simplest rule to understand as well as to implement in your life. So what exactly is two-minute rule? Any task which you can do within two minutes, you have to do it right now. But for applying this rule, you must have clarity throughout the day what are the activities you're going to do? And the best thing is, which I do, and I will suggest you should also do. You should have a list ready. What are the activities you're going to do throughout the day? Or else if you haven't created any list or you're not creating lists till now, but at least you should have a clarity in your mind what are the things you are going to do. And out of that list, out of that nine or 10 lists which are going to do in a day. And out of that list, you have to select few tasks which will take you less than two minutes to complete it. In previous section, we have discussed we have to start our day with the high priority task and we should devote time to them and this will somehow contracting them. But we have to understand what two-minute rules exactly safe when I applied two-minute rule in my routine. That means a task which takes me less than two minute to complete it, or it takes less than 120 seconds. I have noticed that I felt good about myself and I felt more confident to proceed throughout the day. And the second thing is it helped me to build a strong habit. Two-minute rule is extremely beneficial if you want to build any habit. Many offers have tried to build habits, but we have failed many times. You have giving it a try for a few days and after that, we are not able to be consistent with that habits. But the two-minute rule will help you with that. You have to start the habit which you want to do, and you have to do it for only two minutes. If you're thinking of building a habit or doing the task and you are taking a huge task to do it, you won't be able to accomplish it, and you won't be able to build that habit. So it is essential that we should build it on small downs, but a strong foundation for it. And two-minute rule is perfect for it. But the two-minute rule can also be a distraction if not applied appropriately. What do I mean by that? You have to apply two-minute rule. In the start of the day, the start of your routine, you have your list ready. And of that list, you have to select one task, which takes you less than two minutes to complete it, and you have to execute that two-minute rule for that particular task. But if you're using two-minute rule in other time of the day, when you're already occupied with the high priority task or you're working on something very important. And then you're using two-minute rule that you might get distracted unless that task, which are going to take is related with the task which you are doing right now, which you have in your hand right now. So if you're applying at that time, which is related to the task which you're doing right now, then you can apply two-minute rule F. It will be a distraction. So to sum up, in the morning time, you have to take one task which will take you less than two minutes to execute it. Second, it will help you to be great habits. It will lay a foundation. You don't have to apply two-minute rule in other time of the day until the task which you're doing right now, it's related to that two-minute rule which are going to apply this three things you have to remember and apply it appropriately. 18. Get Maximum results: This is one of the popular principle which is available for productivity. And this applies to every sector of our life. And this is the speciality of this principle. You may have heard about 80, 20 principle, or it is also called burrito principle. This especially heard in sales and this also applies to many sectors of our lives. This principle will help you to enhance your performance and utilize your energy well in productive activities. So in less time you can get most output. What 1820 principle faith is. 80% of the results will come from 20 percent of your actions. What do I mean by that? In any company, only 20 percent of the workers contribute to the 80% of companies performance or companies results. Only 20 percent of the customers contribute to 80 percent of revenue. Even this applies to your thoughts 80 percent of the time, you're thinking of that 20 percent of the thoughts, miss 20 percent of thoughts you are repeating throughout the day. How amazing is that 80, 20 principle applies in every sector of your life and this will help you to improve your performance. So you have to spare here most of the time on the activities, which will give you the most output, the most results. For that you have to ask yourself a few questions. First is, where should you invest your most time? Second is when should you invest? You are less time. Third question is, where are you getting most reserves while spending you are less time on it. And the fourth question is, where are you spending a lot of your time and you're not getting results or you're getting them least results. Back then when I was fails professional RS putting lot of efforts on my customers. I was 20 customers. And for each customers I was spending equal time and equal efforts, but I haven't so much results. But then I started tracing of the 80, 20 principle in my application, how I can implement it. But what I saw is only four customers of 20, we're giving me 80% of the revenue. I started focusing more on that for customers. And eventually I was able to grow that customers into a bigger number. So start focusing on the task which will help you to be more productive and it will improve your performance because they're sparing your most time on the activities, which will give you more results. Be aware of the time you're spending throughout the day and apply it. It went to principal to get most by doing the least, by doing less. See you in the next video. 19. Best to-do Strategy Everyday: One, 35 rows. Row male, What the hell is 1, 3, 5, what is 135 rule? I know you're asking that question before I tell you what is 135 rule? Let me tell you something. Most people have trouble developing and implementing to-do list and checklist. Are you one of them? In fact, I will tell you 41% of the to-do list never get completed, never get finished. There are two main reasons for it. You overplan how much we can tackle and underestimate how long each task, which take as the one 35 route has been immensely effective. And it will help you plan and prioritize your day and your to-do list. So you can effectively apply the to-do list which you have prepared for yourself. Because many of the people have prepared the to-do list, but not everyone was capable of completing that task. And this is the secret I will share with you. This productivity rule require you to divide your to-do list in nine tasks. One big task, three medium task, and five, small task. Arranging your activities in this order allows you to tackle them according to their importance, which makes accomplishing your task less challenging. You might be stressing that how I will arrange my whole day in this nine task. But grouping doesn't have to perfect. It is for you. The way you feel comfortable is you can arrange this nine tasks according to your personality and what are your priorities throughout the day? The thing is the thing which is most important to you, which is urgent as well as important and you feel it is the most important which you want to accomplish. You have to put in the one high task which you need and you must complete on that day. And three medium task, which is of low priority than the first one, but you need to accomplish that. And there are five tasks which is of low priority and which is not more important. But you need to complete them. But even if you're not completing that small tasks, it doesn't matter much. Because aspirin 80, 20 principle you have achieved here most of the task by completing high and medium task already. So think of the nine tasks which you have to do throughout the day and group them in the three section and tackle them as per their importance. 20. Matrix to help you in managing your time: Time Management Matrix is a concept in which you will determine your priorities by four quadrants on based of its urgency and importance, the important task kurtosis tos which will directly contribute to the achievement of your goals. And that urgent task kurtosis, which will require your attention. So the first coordinate is it is urgent as well as it is important, includes only those activities which requires your immediate attention, like emergencies, extremely important deadlines, pressing problems, or some health issues. Or there is any customer call which you need to attend on urgent basis. These are the things which is important as well as urgent, and you hope to tackle them on immediate basis. And this are in your high priority list which you have to complete. And the second coordinate is not urgent but important when you delete task on this quadrant, then it goes to the first quadrant, which become so urgent and so important. So when you tackle task here efficiently, it won't be so much of pressing issue that it will go on the first quadrant. So this is the coordinate where you hope to focus most so you don't end up in pressure as situation. When you have two D in the quadrant 1. This task are not urgent, but they're important in future point of view. Here is your strategic planning which will come into play. Example is building relationship, self-development are planning for holidays, did your family, or even some important social activities which you have to plan in this quadrant. And the third quadrant is urgent but not important. Most we will confuse between quadrant one and quadrant three. There is a lot of difference because in quadrant 1 there is urgency as well as importance of the task. But in quadrant three, there is no importance, but there is only urgency. So mostly this as the task which are actually distraction to you, there can be unnecessary meeting, there can be unnecessary call, there can be social media distractions which are causing you to keep that immediate attention to that, but it is not so important. So the best thing is you have to minimize or eliminate or delegate this task because this task won't serve you and won't make you more productive or improve your performance in any way. But this activities will only keep you busy, but it won't give you much productivity. The fourth quadrant is not urgent and not important. What do you think? What will be in this coordinate? Can you relate with me what I'm trying to say now? You're working on something really important. Maybe you're working on your office desk and suddenly you've got a notification on your social media for checking that specific notification you have received on social media, you're also taking other post and you don't realize when you're five minutes have turned into half-an-hour and you're just scrolling all the data because they're continuously updating what are the things your friends did and what are the activities which are going on, which is producing 0 value to the work which you are doing. Does it happen with you? Even you're scrolling some of the videos, which is related to your field and you're studying that. And while doing that, there are also some entertaining videos which are scrolling and your eyeball just pop up that and you're checking that video which has nothing to do with the task which you are doing. And this is what social media is designed for. It is designed for distraction. It is designed to grab their attention, to grab our attention. So we can put on most time over there. And you know what? They are mostly successful because people are captivated to the social media and there are many things which are just keeping us stuck in that place. We know what we have to eliminate that. But totally eliminating distraction is not possible. You know, what, what we can do? We can put a time restriction while doing the task. If you want to solve net, you want to see videos, you want to watch your social media. Absolutely, you should do it because it is a part of our life and we can't eliminate it, but we have to give it specific time. So we will check our social media on that specific time, but we'll check our emails on that specific time. So our most productive time, we are not losing on that distractions. See you in the next video. 21. Focused work trick that works : We have talked about Pomodoro principle, which is called 25 five rule. This is similar to that principle which is called 5217 rule. In this principle, we have to work for 52 minutes tray, and then we have to take a break or 17 minutes. So you might be confused that when to use Pomodoro principle and when to use 15 to 17 principle. And it totally depends on your priority. If your task requires you to focus on that one thing for a longer time than it will be good if you apply 50 to 70 principle. For me, if I'm writing a book, I will require a longer time for that. I set 52 minutes timer, so I do my task for continuously 52 minutes and take a break for 17 minutes. If I'm doing a video editing, I set a timer for 25 minutes and then take a break for five minutes. So it totally depends on the task and it also depends on you. What is your priority if you need frequent break while working on your task than 25, 5 would be appropriate for you. Set a timer for 25 minutes, set a timer for two minutes, and for that duration you don't have to move and you have to work continuously diligently on that particular task. And for 17 minutes or 45 minutes, you can plan for the day or it can take a break, you can have coffee and you can resume your book after that, I have tried both these principles and both are effective. Just you have to keep the timer with you and you don't have to focus on other tasks while you do so. After I have applied this principle, I was able to improve my productivity by 30 percent? Yes, by 30 percent. So if you're working in office, you're working in a hole that you can use this principle and you can put a timer for it and you can do for that duration and you can take break according to that dry this principle and see how it works fabulously for you. 22. How to distribute your time Effectively: This is one of the rule which will help you prioritize your task efficiently, which is called 60, 30, 10 ruled 60 percent time on top tire or high task value, 30 percent may tire on low value activities and 10 percent lower tire shall make a difference tomorrow. And you have to select a highest priority task. And you hope to spend 60% of the time on achieving that goal. High-value tasks contribute to your long-term goals. Submission your values. So what are your core values? What are the core things which you are doing? Should be your high priority value and you should be spending 60% off time on accomplishing that. For me, that 60 percent task is creating content for you, recording videos for you, writing books and answering your questions. That is my high priority task. And I'm focusing 60 percent of time on this activities. So on each day, you have to identify your individual task for the day which you have to accomplish. And it is your main goal, it is your priority you should be focusing on after you're done with two-minute tool, start with the high priority task, which is important to you, and 60 percent of time, you should be doing that task, that particular task for a business owner, it is important that he is arranging his time appropriately. So that is manager who is looking after all the activities which is going on the company's business owners work is not to manage all the task, but his work is to expand his business so his empire actually can grow. This is his main task. So for you, what is your specific task? Are you a designer? Are you a chart professional? Are you a programmer? That type itself is showing you what is your priority, what should be your priority? And you should be focusing mostly on the task while doing it. And 30 percent of time you have to spare on low value activities that have some emails you have to send. There are some calls you have to make, there are some reports you have to submit. This are low priority task and you will focus on low priority task as soon as you are completing your high priority task, 10 percent or lower tire. These are the activities which is personalized to you. This at the time which you need to spare on your cell phone, your hobbies on your side, hustle, or the time which you want to spend on social activities. These are totally up to you how you want to utilize this time, because this is totally yours. You can spend this time on the activities like building some cytosol for yourself, spending your time with family, with your friends. But this has nothing to do with your actual work. This is your free time. This is your personal time. So this is what you will do it according to how you prioritize a tandem. What is your level of importance and what do you want to accomplish in your life other than the main work that you're doing. So this 10 percent is totally up to you how you want to utilize it. 23. Art of Prioritizing : So this principle is called a, B, C, D, E. So this is one of the method which will help you prioritize better and every alphabet have their own meanings. A stands for very important task and you must do it. You can't avoid it. And if you avoid it, there are negative consequences to it. So there are tasks which are so important that you can't avoid it, and it is your top priority. You how to put that task into the a category B stands for important task. These are something you should do this or not as important as a, but this is important as well. So you have to prioritize it after you have completed your a task which are very important. And this is a Beta which are important as well. But it is not important as a task, C stands for things nice to do. And this is nice when we do it. There are no complications or no consequences when we don't do it. And these are not as important as a or B. D stands for delegate. You can delegate this task to other juniors so they can complete that task. There may be some calls, there may be some reports they have to generate, and it won't necessarily need you to complete that task. And you can delegate it to other people so you can have free time and you can focus on the most important tasks, a and B. So you've got a completed that task more efficiently instead of giving your time on low priority task, there are some tasks which don't need inertia, you will, but they are with us and they are taking are most of the time and we are not able to focus on the task which are most important for us. So we have to eliminate this task and we have to delete it from her routine. So we spare most of the time on the task which are most important for us. Assume you're working as a project manager in your company. For example, you are executed a project. There is a call from customer that they're facing some issues and it is quite crucial for them to solve that issue. Your most important priority it will be to solve that problem. For example, you're working on a project, you have got a new project, and you're working on that designing aspect and all the strategies which need to be executed. This is what important is after you have solved the query of your client, your second priority will be working on the next project. And the fee is nice to do. You have to coordinate with all the people who are working under you are working with you, and who are in your tea. So what is their status? What is the work they're doing? So you have to trace out that it is a nice thing to do because they can also submit your report. So it is not essential to talk with them all for getting the status of their bug, but they can submit their work to you later as well. D is delegate. So what you can delegate, there are some reports of the project which have to be developed and it necessarily born need you. It will take your juniors who can tell me the projects and they can prepare the report accordingly. And what illuminate East for you is unnecessary meetings or unnecessary calls which are taking your time and you can focus on your high priority task. Instead of focusing on the unnecessary things which you can easily eliminate in the attached document of this section, in which I have mentioned a, B, C, D, E principle. I have sped some blank spaces for you to fill. So I want that initially you should write your name, your job profile, or the task which you are doing. And also a, B, C, D, E, What are your priority task and what you have to do, which is very important. And what are the task which is important to you? What another task which is nice to do? What are the tasks that you need to delegate? And what are the task which you need to eliminate according to your profile, what do you do? So it will help you to prioritize and sort out your life and it will help you to clear out your mind and bring clarity to what exactly you need to focus on. See you in the next section. 24. Art of Self-Discipline : Van and perfect one said, we don't have to be smarter than the rest, but we have to be more disciplined than the rest. And I totally agree with what he said. Tell me something. Is there a lack of resource for you to gain knowledge? Know, there are numerous sources of knowledge available to you, available to us. If you type something in Google, we will get thousands of search results. What we want on the topic we want, we have numerous books so we can gain the essential knowledge. So there are numerous sources available for us to gain the knowledge, but the main thing is to implement that knowledge. And for implementing that knowledge in our routine in our life, it is essential to have self-discipline in US. So there are many courses available for productivity, for performance, which are working specially on your skills to improve your skills, to show you the method, to show you that technique. So you can implement that techniques in your routine. So you can gain the essential skills which are looking for without self-discipline. Is it possible to gain desserts? I was fascinated to know about Japan's discipline. But an adult who is so disciplined in his life in Japan that trained from childhood to be more disciplined. So the Children's in Japan in the initial years are not trained for that technical skills, for their memory skills, but they are praying for that discipline. So a person who has the mastery over his discipline with self-disciplined, he can gain any skill he can implement in his life, and he can become the leader of his life. You can achieve any goals he vaunted. So what exactly is self-discipline? Self-discipline is a simple process of taking consistent action over a period of time that will help you to achieve your desired outcome. We are all working towards getting a specific outcome, what we want, so we can get our goals, we can achieve our goals. Your goal can be anything. You want to be best employee of the company. You want to be the CEO of the company. Maybe you're working on your startup or you want to build a habit to achieve any of these goals, you have to be disciplined. You have to be extremely discipline to achieve any of these goals. So in every way, discipline is impacting your performance, it is impacting your productivity. It shows your dedication. It shows your character, how involved you are in doing what you're doing. Can you think of any individual who have achieved greatness in their life without being disciplined. You can think of Abdul Kalam, you can think of Steve Jobs. You can think of Bill Gates, any of those great individuals or athletes, celebrities were great in their respective fields, can't achieve without being disciplined. We will talk about the four steps which will help you to be more disciplined towards your goals. The steps are not the shallow things that you will get on the Internet, but these are the things which I have tried, I have tested and these have worked for me. And if this havoc for me, this would surely work for you. Just understand the concept on its depth. So you will be able to implement this in your routine in your life. So my first is make your present task more important. What do I mean by that? The thing that you're working right now, and if you're not able to be disciplined towards the task are doing right now, it may be some habit. It might be your priority work which you have designed, especially for that task. But you're thinking of something which is not related with the task which you are doing. You are not able to be disciplined towards the task because you're giving that thought, that task, the other task more priority than the task which you have on your hand. So how you can make task on your hand more important than the other things. So the best thing you can do is attaching your task with a strong emotion of yours. How to do that? See humans operate on emotions. There are 27 emotions humans have in them. And every time we are using somewhat the other emotions to take our decisions, maybe consciously or unconsciously, but there is involvement of motions in the decisions we are taking in the task which we are doing. If you can connect your emotion with the task which you are doing, you will be able to be more disciplined and focus on that task instead of the other task, assume there is a deadline you need to complete. And now during extreme stress, you're anxious because you need to complete that task in the given time as there is fear of losing your job, losing your client, or maybe you're not able to deliver the results which are expecting. And now, in this particular scenario there is emotion of fear which is playing important role in completing that task. So if you want to complete anything, you just to consciously attach a emotion to the task. One of the strong emotions can be fear, like we have discussed. It can be joy, it can be happiness, it can be angle. But the thing is, it will help you to stay disciplined to the task that you're doing. For example, a few years back when I was a sales professional, but I was not flourished in that field. So I was approaching many clients, but I was getting continuously rejected and very few customers I was able to crack at that time, I was getting rejected, but I continue to do that task. I stay disciplined with the task I was doing because I was excited about the sales process. I was eager to know how to do selling. It was my passion. I want to do it. And because of that emotion of excitement, I was able to continue that task and I was able to be disciplined in that particular task. So in your task, I want to know what is your emotion. You can invest in the thing. Maybe you can get incentives. Maybe you will get promoted or in somehow how that task, which will help you to achieve your goal in some way. So you can attach that emotion to the task that you're doing. The second I would like to discuss is make a mindset shift. What do I mean by making a mindset shift? C, Many people are doing the task on their hand because they have to do it. But the people who are extremely disciplined in that task, they're doing the task because they want to do it. Can you notice the difference? When I said I have to do it and when I said I want to do it, then was excitement. There was a choice. When I said I want to do it because the person made a conscious choice of doing that task as per his will. It was his choice of selecting a task. When an individual says, I have to do a task, it shows that you don't have any other options and he's doing just because he have to do it and he don't have any of the options. And it shows a victim mentality. So how you can make a mindset shift the best thing you can do. Think of a long-term goal, how you can relate with the task which you're doing right now. The third long-term vision, think of yourself, how you see yourself in four or five years, and how the task is related with the thing which you are thinking of, and how you can connect the dots from the five-years and the task which you're doing right now. If you are able to do this, you will be able to be disciplined to the task that you're doing. You have known about Duchenne bold is one of the top athletes in his page is one of the top sprinter. But can you think of something? He trained himself for many years just to run that nine or ten seconds of race. Can you think of his vision? Can you think how long you have planned from a very young age, have been training on that particular thing for many years. Just to run few seconds raise. He was sure he wanted to be a top athlete, a top sprinter, and have won numerous gold medal because of his attitude, because of his dedication, because of his discipline, because every single day he was able to dedicate to his daily task is daily routines. So he will able to accomplish his long-term goal, which was to become a top athlete, a top sprinter in his field. And many people just give up and they're not able to see results for two or three months. There is a huge gap in the mindset of people who are extremely disciplined, who think of a long-term and who think of extremely short term. So you have to align your goals, your long-term goals with your task. How that task we align with their long-term goal and how that task will benefit you. For example, you are doing the task which not everyone is interested in, and you are giving that dedication to that particular theme, to particular task. So that over a period of time you will be mastered in that particular task. So if any problem arises in that task, in that topic, Everyone will approach you because you're the master of that task. So see every task you're doing have something linked with your long-term goal. Just you should have that vision to see yourself in four to five years and aligning that thing, which your task will get you to stay disciplined. The third which will help you, is being accountable. Have you met people who say they don't have enough time, they don't have enough resources, they don't have enough money. And see their body language, how they see they are in the state of powerlessness. They don't think they are in control of the situation. And now just say the sentence to yourself. My time is my responsibility. Say this to yourself. You will feel the difference. What I'm trying to see, my time is my responsibility. Say it loud. You will feel a different vibration in your body, which shows you are accountable for the things which you are doing. The end when you are accountable for the things which you are doing, you will actually be more disciplined because you're thinking this is my task and this is my responsibility of prioritizing the things better. When anyone is saying he's not having time. Actually, that's not the case. He's not able to prioritize his time, his routine as per task you want everyone have 24 hours. See you have 24 hours. Celebrity, any celebrity have 24 hours. At elites had 24 hours, but they're totally dedicated their shore of how their day will proceed because they are sure and they have prioritized their day, how their shadows will look like, and they're accountable, totally accountable to the things that is they are doing. When in sports, a team loses. The captain of his team says, it was my responsibility that the team was not able to perform. And this is a sign of leader. So you have to be that leader and you have to see what are the time you're spending on the things which you don't want. The things which you want to achieve when you write that goal, it is much specific and it is possible that you will stay disciplined with the task that you're doing, but the task which you're writing, you should be authentic. That task, don't write unrealistic task which you know you don't want to achieve. So you have to be precisely clear that the things which you want to achieve or that day and write all the task which you want to achieve. And this is writing on paper is also a good technique of releasing your emotion. If you have some emotions building yourself, you just have to release that energy through paypal So you can write your feelings on that paper and you will feel more relaxed. Start writing the things which are crucial for you to achieve in a day and also reward yourself with the sort of things that you want. It can be a television, it can be some games, it can be some televisions. It can be some treat for yourself, which you've loved to have. These are the four techniques I prefer to use. And four of them are extremely workable and crucial. The things which you can put your emotions in if you haven't long-term vision, if you are accountable and if you can journal, and this will help you to stay disciplined in your journey. 25. Developing a Positive Attitude: Is it possible to get positive results with negative state of mind? No, it is not possible. If you want to achieve a positive result, you want to achieve a positive outcome. You have to be in the right state of mind. You have to be positive for that. Research was conducted, figures back to know how positive thinking is impacting performance and productivity. If it is not performing at its best, how you can consider growth and productivity to get the outcome, that outcome. So it is essentially important what you say to yourself is positive and good for yourself. Also, you can think of something like if you're getting a task which you haven't done before, which is a challenge for you if you're tending to yourself, I won't be able to do it. This is not in my hands. I won't be able to accomplish that. So you're closing your mind, you won't be able to do it because they're set to yourself that you can't be able to do it. So you have close the door, which are mine, might have opened the possibilities to explore, to find the solution. Or else you can say to yourself, yes, this task is challenging. But I love challenges. I would like to learn this thing and I would like to complete the task. And when you say this to yourself, you will try to find solution to that problem, to that challenge. And possibly you will find the solution because you're open to possibilities, you're open to solutions. So you will able to find a solution because your mind is more acceptable for the solution, your self-talk will impact how much success you will have in your life. What sort of relationship you will have with yourself and with others. Because if you're not kind and considerate with yourself, you won't be the same with others. And people who are not kind, don't like to communicate, don't like to have relationships with such people because their internal communication is not right. It will have a reverse effect on the external communication to, so see what is your internal dialogue. If it is positive, you are doing great. It is something you are doing perfect key. But if you ask something which is negative, you're saying to yourself, just switch that to a positive one and start saying, I am worth, I can do anything. I am a high achiever and I can achieve anything in my life. Start seeing this positive sentence to yourselves and convert your negative self-talk and go positive one, so you will have a better health and overall your performance will also have a positive impact on them. The second P is positive environment. And the people with whom you would like to communicate more, the people who are just gossiping were complaining about the things about the situations which are going wrong, which are not right, or the people we're looking towards growth, we're looking towards positivity. How, what are the things good in their life and what they can achieve, what sort of people you would like to collaborate with. We'll have a great impact on your mindset. What will be your thought process? And so start collaborating with such people, such an environment which develops a positive attitude in yourself. You might be saying that what you're saying is absolutely right. We should have positive environment. They should have positive people. But in my environment there are only negative people. How I can make them positive. I'm not saying that there are only positive people. There are all types of people available. So if there are negative people around, you, just set a boundary for yourself so they don't drain your energy. And what I will suggest that titrating some motivational stuff, start reading some biographies of some exceptionally top leaders in their field, how they overcame all the obstacles in their life and they achieved the thing which you want to achieve. The third P is practice gratitude. What exactly is gratitude? Gratitude is being thankful. Be grateful for the things which you have right now. A great quote by Tony Robbins, where your attention goes, energy flows. So if you are grateful for the things you have, your energy will go in that direction. Also, you will attract a lot of opportunities relative to that particular emotion and you will be more happier. Gratitude improves their wellness. It improves their sleeping habits, it improves their metabolism, and it also lowers your stress. It was also proved that the person who practice gratitude increases his happiness by 10 percent and decreases the symptoms of depression by 31%. Just by practicing gratitude, there are numerous ways through which you can show gratitude. One of the thing is writing phi things which you are grateful for. It can be your spouse, it can be your family, it can be a job, it can be a vehicle, anything. It can be your pet. Anything which make you happy and you're extremely grateful that that thing is in your life and it is making you happier. One of the technique is gratitude prayer. At practice this day, as soon as I wake up in the morning, I show a gratitude towards the things I have in the form of gratitude, prayer. And if you are having this habit of showing gratitude or doing a gratitude prayer, you will see an improvement in your mindset and in your life, you will be able to see life in more positive light. Also, one technique is gratitude jar, in a jar, right? One thing which you are grateful for in a day and put that sheet into that gratitude jar and think and visualise of that thing that you have. And also one technique is gratitude journaling, writing the things which you are extremely grateful for, showing gratitude towards the things which you have will have immense effect on your positivity, on your positive mindset. I am showed you have shown gratitude towards the things which you have, but occasionally and now consciously, you are implementing this gratitude techniques towards your life and you will see a drastic improvement in your performance and your productivity, how you approach your life and you will attract a lot of success and opportunities to words you because you are intact frequency you are in that vibration of happiness and joy. For developing positive attitude, you should have positive mindset. And before positive mindset, you should have a positive thought pattern, positive thoughts. So you will have the outcome which you are looking for, which is improved productivity, improved performance, and overall success in your life. And you will see immense growth in every sector of your life. 26. Crucial Habits : I hope you had amazing learning experience till now, and you have learned a lot of things. And now it is a time to learn some crucial habits which will help you grow in your profession, as well as it will help you improve your performance. I understand you know, a lot about habits and which are the habits which needs to be adapted. In this specific video, we will learn some core habits which will help you build the foundation. And if you have a strong foundation in the form of habits, you can build any scale and you can build a stash scraper offered. But for that you should have a foundation which is strong concrete. The first habit is sharpened. The acts. We all have heard about the story of woodcutter, who is cutting trees without sharpening is ax. So any skill you're working towards can't be natural, a risky can be developed if you're willing to work on it. If you're willing to learn, if you're willing to implement and improve your skills, you will able to improvise it, and you will be able to reach the next level of your career, of your passion, of the things which you're working towards, upgrading your skills, sharpening your ax. The first crucial habit you need to develop. The second habit is declutter your space. If there are many things in your workspace, in your home, which you have just saturated, which is of no use. Then it will also reflect in your mind because you have saturated some thoughts, some feelings, some things in your mind, but actually it isn't serving you. So start clearing the mess. See the things in your home which is not needed, CDA file which is not needed, and scrap it, also declutter your digital documents. It is good to have memories. But if there are things in your physical or in digital format which are distracting you and which is taking away your attention and your time, then it is time to de-clutter it and keep the document the things in prioritize form so it won't take your much time. Maybe they're in the same type of relationship again and again. So it is essential to know how to enter a state of flow because it will improve your productivity, to improve your performance and util help you to produce the optimum result. So there are four tasks which you can do to enter state of flow. The first thing is monitor your state of mind before starting any task, you should be in a happier state of mind so you can do any activity before actually are important task. So you are feeling much better, much happier, and more content to work towards one task. The second thing is. C, cs, which is challenging, clear and specific. You should be absolutely clear what you want to do and what outcome you are expecting. It should be challenging us kills. You don't have to do lot of things at once, but you should be specific with what you want to do and stick with that task. The third is supporting and wireless. And you should have that environment created in you, which supports your vision, which supports your task. And the fourth is setting deadline, setting deadlines. We have discussed Pomodoro principle of 25, five for 25 minutes we have two straight to work on a task. Five minutes, we should take a break and we should repeat this cycle for four times. In the next section, we have discussed top productivity rules. The first was to men are true and which we have discussed. Any task which takes you less than two minutes to complete it. You have to complete it right now, but you have to do it in the morning. The second was 80, 20 principle on the task, which will you maximum results with minimum effort. This is for a task which takes more time to accomplish or you need more time to do that particular task. And seventh, we have discussed about a, B, C, D, E principle a is your very important task. B is your important tasks which are not important as a, C, E is nice to do task D is that which you need to delegate to others and ease the task which you need to eliminate. To master the art of discipline, we have learned four things which we can do to improve our self-discipline. The first is make your present tasks, the tasks which you have on your hand, more important than the other task. The second thing is make a mindset shift.
