1. Welcome to this Class!: Hello, everybody. Welcome to this class. Thes class will include practical lessons to improve your singing. Our class objectives are to starting your voice or gonna have voice build your mix voice and learn how to warm up with simple exercises. You will find videos with scales to practice with examples and ex assesses according to your voice. At the end of this class, you will be able tow work actively with your voice. Learn how to warm up and you will start again. Endurance and flexibility in your voice so welcome and let's start singing. 2. How to warm up: Now we have to warm up and to know how to do it. So let's imagine that our voices like a runner and these little runner is going to have a race today in two hours, and it just woke up one hour ago. Do you think that is going to win the race or in the worst case scenario, it will finish it? I guess. As we can imagine, the answer is no. This little runner needs to train every day to be able to gain an DRAMs. And for sure, like any athlete in the world, you should never. And he will never, never start a daily training session or a big race without having warm up. We have to remember that our voice and all its system around is made of muscles, and these muscles are half their own memory. That is why we need to stretch these muscles every day and every time we're going to start our practice session are a hustle and off course. Our concert. These will help us to get our body ready to start without risk of injury. Like any other athletes. After having warm up our body, it's time to continue to warm up our voice 3. Tuning your voice; let it flow!: Hello. Welcome back in this video, we're going to practice exercises to start to June. Your voice. We will start with simple exercises controlling our breathing and support. Now we're going to let the air flows through our throat in our vocal cords. Every time you're going to start to sing, breathe deeply, taking your breath to the lower part off your APS, and you have to feel how it feels. The back part off your lungs breathing, imitating the reflects. When you are surprised, it's going to help you to get that deep inhalation without any effort, our diaphragm and our lungs are expanded. So we're going to inhale to and se Ah, uh, keep your support with your naps with the lowest part off your APS, as we learned before. Now again, Breathe, dude, and try to keep us long us You can, keeping the air in the voice with your abdominal muscles in the lowest part off your APS 4. Ahh & Support! : in this video, we're going to practice exercises to start to June. Your voice every time we're going to start to seeing, we have to repeat the same process off breathing, which means that we're going to breathe deep. Try to feel how your rips open. Avoid always to breathe in your chest. Never lived up. Not like this. This is not good thing that you're breathing with your back. Now we're going to ask three notes. It's a little scale off. Three notes going up and down. Breathe us. We learned. Ah, and this keeps their rips open, The body is open and the sound is going to be bigger. Ah, uh, no. Do it yourself repeating with the scales, followed example in the video and keep practicing with the scale. If you feel it's too high paged, stop and don't force your voice. Remember that your voice will be more and more flexible with practice. Let's get started 5. U tune! : in this exercise, we're going to use the vowel. Remember, the best way to understand how to breathe deeply is to remember the feeling when you're surprised is very important that you feel that every time you are lacing the year your abdominal muscles are working their active. Oh, you now do it yourself repeating with the scales way, way. 6. Why your Soft Palate is your Ally?: when we seen without the help off are soft palate. The voice can sound a little bit open metallic, and it's very difficult to get your high notes. It's quite hard toe Reach high notes When your soft palate is not rised up. Sure, we need toe balance. How much we're going to use it if you don't want to go through the classic world. But I assure you that when you know how to use all your mechanism, singing pop is going to be very easy for you. Now let's see the difference when we don't rise up or palate. Ah ah for my taste always needs more resonate. Er's needs more run to be more rounded. Needs to have more more colors. It's very different when you rise up a little bit your soft palate and then the magic starts. I'm not singing like I would sing with my soprano voice. In that case would be something like that, Yeah, but what we want is something in the middle. If you're not through the classic. If I do without the's, Yeah, it sounds like I'm screaming. Actually, it doesn't sounds like I'm doing a beautiful sound. At least it doesn't sounds to me and off course. When I want to go to the high note, it's gonna be a problem because my landings is going to go up and then this is not going to work. And the worst is that I feel that I'm hurting my voice and I don't want that. So forget about it's not nice. We need something in the middle, something that is a little bit more a vertical way off. Our voice is not a is Ah ah and in this way I can sing whatever I want. What do you want that he have no time to regret? For example, we only second by Woodward's I done 100 times. If I wouldn't rice off my palate, these wouldn't work. Let's see the difference. We only said goodbye with Waas. I died 100 times. You go back to her and I go back to well. But the point is that when you want to toe create more colors and create more character in your singing Being mawr artist, you have to use all your mechanistic been Ah, go back to, uh, my palate is dry stop and I go back to block it Sounds like flat like no color, some childish. Think that these techniques are going to help you to seeing what you really want to sink. In the case of the girls, maybe you cannot reach the notes back with the Houston song, for example, the Theo. What I'm using is my head voice. I feel exactly here all my residence in my head for sure. If I will try to sing without this technique, I would be already hurt and my voice would be really bad in that condition. For me, it's not the way I'm absolutely sure that learning the basics off the classic technique classic technique that we're going to use here are going to help you allow toe thing whatever you want into reach whatever high notes you want to hit. 7. How rise up palate: the perfect way to understand when your soft palate ease up is when you feel a little little crack in your years inside your years, like when you are in a car and your ears get blocked, stop and then you breathe and do this. And then it seems like you're years are open. That's what we need to feel that little noise inside your years. Remember? Don't go in. Yeah, vertical. Now look at this example. Observe how myself ballot is rising up on the back of my mouth. You have to feel how the base off your tongue goes up and down. Absurd and repeat. I feel the cracking inside my years. Now it's time for you to practice. Dress up your soft palate and leave it up for four counts. Relax and repeat. Though three sets off these exercise, the next exercise is pronounced the continent's N G. And try to touch her. Overlap with the base off your mouth. No se And uh huh uh huh Repeat this movements until becomes natural. But we want to achieve is to be able to live off the soft ballot where never we want by expanding these natural reflexes. So keep practicing. Enjoying the process. See you in the next video 8. Exercise for high voice. Find your Head Voice. : the vowel is an excellent tool to find our head voice. It help us to get your voice forward. We need to feel that the vibration off your voice is getting in. This part is in this part off your face. Try toe. Always feel that your soft palate is rising up. It's different if you do this, or if you do e a no way that's not gonna happen, followed example in the video and keep practicing with the scale. If you feel it's too high paged, Stop and don't force your voice. Remember that your voice will be more and more flexible with practice. Let's get started thing Theo, - I think, - uh 9. Exercise for low voice. Let's get started thing Theo, - I think, - uh 10. Realising your jaw: the next X of says it's going to help us to keep our Joe relaxed. We have to be very conscious of the movement off our job. Avoid intention. We're going to say, yeah, in this exercise, we don't have to move or Joe like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that creates tension as well We're on Lee going to move internally your tongue Yeah , yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Try it, then repeat it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I I, uh e I, uh e I now do it yourself repeating with the scales followed example in the video and keep practicing with the scale If you feel it's too high paged Stop and don't force your voice. Remember that your voice will be more and more flexible with practice way. - Mm . 11. Liproll: Now we're going to work on the marvelous liberal Orly bubble. This is one of the most important excesses that we can learn just is helpful in several ways. Let's see the bandages of this simple but powerful exercise. This is a dynamic exercise, excellent to start or warming up routine because it brings several benefits. For example, discover your head voice. What we're looking for is to fill the residence in the head, and when these exercises properly made, it can help us to feel immediately the residence in what we call the mask. It help us to connect both registers. The liberal helps to make easier the transition between the head and chest force. Taking us dinner smooth and comfortable. Way allowed ing us to make the change of her Chester easier. It regulates the year pressure. It helps to control how much air you need, and this is important to the transition between each register. When you learn to use dis exercise properly, it can help you to work on the pass, a Jew or the bridge off. Our voice relieves tension when you learn how to manage your air and to control the pressure you implied to this exercise. The liberal will be very, very helpful. Why? Because he norther to make the exercise right. You're faced. Muscle must be relaxed. It help you to concentrate the sound of the mask. At the same time, you're helping to relieve the tension when you're singing. For the nature of this exercise is one off our allies to start a warm up routine. Even when you feel that you're losing the focus off the boys, it will refresh you and give tone to your body into your boys. Now you know the advantages off, learn and master this simply but effective tool in singing and now it's time to put it into practice. 12. Liproll exercise: as we said to make it this exercise properly is necessary to have a good control off our breathing in our support. What? It means that having a good control off our air is going to allow us to relax our face muscles. If this is not well prepared, this is not going to work. Okay, so after making a lot of that, success is so breathing and support. Now we are ready to go into the world off the the role. We said, This must be very relaxed. No tension here. No tension here and no attention in your name. Correct anything. Okay. Now what we have to do is breathe deeply. Yes, we learned before and then just released year. That's always. But this time we're going to this year with our lips together and without open now, mouth. Okay, The trick is to think like a baby who was playing, and he's doing just this. So just make this in a very comfortable central sound and just practice first. But it has to So this thing, these parts, it seems that we're not saying anything any bowel, but in fact, we are. And this exercise is going to help us as well. To control how we articulate the bowels of concerts is very helpful. I think in yourself by Lapides Rice up. Then start to release here. No, we will board some music on it. Okay? Just that he knows very C and softly now, only you the No, let's go toe a register with Lee Role toe race attention here. Okay, As we said, this is going to help us to connect both registers. Now we're going to heat towards the lower part of our voice. Okay? Every time, without pressure, without washing abortionists, our worst enemy. So we have to avoid that. Okay, Pushing Never just released year. Okay, I feel that iss the chest voice, but I still feel it in here. See, I feel that is very low, but I feel the residence in in this part. And that's what we want to achieve the mixed voice now. So keep working and see in the next sex of size 13. Liproll exercise 2: another good that society is it in the liberal is to start in a big to the Donica the first raid. Or, in other words, if you're going to stop from the scale of C major, we start from a G to Z nature, that's all. When you're not making it right, you may feel something like this, which means that the voices here the residence is not coming in the mask in this part off the off the face with who we're losing pressure off year we're losing stability is that that's why they're liberal risk. It can be made who can set doing just random. If the air is not well control, what it can happen is our have so much tension in this part of our mouth off our face. That is a common mistake. I always find students that they are pushing so much they cannot because this is not ready . Okay, so it's better to concentrate in our breathing in our air rather than where is my voices in which part off the head? Because when we are thinking Onley in position, we lose a lot of a lot off concentration off what it really matters, which is the sport. If the bus is not well supported, then this when we have the problems off Meg off attention in our back, the key is the year and how we manage it without the well support were basically most so let's start with now you way . So keep working and see in the next sex of size. 14. Scale for high voice. Softening your passaggio! : Now we're going to add e feel that the year is going low and how your Reeb's expend he ah, keep always the feeling of yourself, pal it up with yourself, repeating with the scales, followed example in the video and keep practicing with the scale. If you feel it's too high paged, Stop and don't force your voice. Remember that your voice will be more and more flexible with practice thing thing, I think I think, - uh 15. Scale for low Voice. Remember that your voice will be more and more flexible with practice way through Theo Way UH. 16. My Daily Warm-up Routine that you can apply to improve your singing! : So what I like to do is just starting with coming, for example. But what? I like ISS liberals alike the mosque Because I feel that the voice is going out. E remember, always Teoh have this connection with your muscles in your abs that is going to make your liberals and everything way easier. You have several exercises based on liberals that you can practice any time you have just to go to the part of your exorcises. Um just tried. After that I start slowly, slowly, slowly. I can start on Lee with very e c exercise way e. I never start toe seeing so high at the beginning I go always on the middle part of my voice and then I start to to sing on Lee a little scale. First I start with a three notes and then I move on toe, uh, scale of fifth. I like to warm up a lot with the e way, Theo, in very smooth, very slow and start to gain and start to do more difficult, difficult things. But when you are a beginner, I really recommend it to start with a progressive. I never tried to do so much. Then I started moving toe the staccato because for me, this guy staccato, it helps me a lot to feel my coordination with my muscles. In my abs, that helps me a lot. So as we talk about the support of the voice and what we learned about the reflexes off coughing and laughing, laughing, for example, I tried to remember all the time. How is to laugh? And then I start to practice the staccato with that. And actually, I incorporate this movement all the time when I'm going to sink. But this together is something very useful to understand this movement in this feeling. So you know, huh? Staccato is like laughing so on. I feel it here. In my abs, that really helps me. That's more or less my base routine, my daily routine off warm up and I recommended that you do something like this is not so much at the beginning, right? Start with Les Pros. It's going to help you lot, then move toe a little scale off. 3rd 123 notes and go progressive, then with five and then och, tough scale or a nine scale and then make our pages off course. It's literally like running every time you are every time you want to run. In the beginning, maybe you start running in two minutes, you're out. You're a couple on. But with the time you start to do more and more and more and more, and then it's getting better and better and better is the same with the voice is absolutely the same. This are routine warm up routine that you can apply to your daily workout. You have a lot of Faxon sizes in a lot of scales that you can use to practice and to warm up juice those that suits you. And again, I recommend it to go in the progressive line. Okay, so practice and see you soon.
