1. Introduction: Welcome to my skill share class on Tick Tick. Tick Tick is a free task manager that's available on Mac OS Windows. It's available on IOS. It's available on Android, and it's got a Web version. If you're on Lenox and need a task manager, they're very good Web version that basically copies everything. You have any other platforms and this feel share class, we're gonna focus on the Mac and IOS versions of Tick Tick. We're gonna cover everything from the convo on view. It has to integration with shortcuts and Siri Teoh just how to use it in general on how I use it in my actual day to day life with a content calendar also gonna go over some of the extra stuff like how it integrates with sappier and give you some ideas of how you could use that in your day today. Workflow maybe like me being a program with a lot of my time, I consent all of my updates from get home over to my task manager so that I see them there and make sure they get filled with really excited for you to join the class so I can show off the task manager that I use day today to run basically my whole life, including my YouTube channel. Platforms & Free vs Premium: Let's start by taking a look at what we get in tick tick us for its platforms go and as faras the features on paid verses unpaid or versus free. As I said earlier, we have platforms for Mac. We have an application for Mac. We have Android and phone. We have iPhone and iPad. There's an apple watch integration. There's a Windows integration for just Napa's. Well, there's the Web. Web is a really capable version as well. Basically, the full thing. There is a chrome extension and a Firefox extension. I've tried these. Both of these really just give you a view into the Web view, so I don't find them to be that useful. They don't make much faster, really, So I won't even bother with those at all. And I don't think you should, either. It is also, and look at in don't have that look, haven't tried it and a Gmail at home. So I also don't use Gmail, so I havent tried that, as well as faras features between premium and free and the premium you get the monthly calendar view a timeline, view, a grid calendar view. You can subscribe to different calendars there's different calendar widgets you could do with your durations. There's some other stuff around. Sub tasks, Siri integration and extra themes. There's also some limitations around what you can do right and free. You could do nine lists in premium. You can do 299 lists in tasks you could do. 99 per list are 999 per list. Both of those excluded the completed tasks or exclude the closed lists. Sub task. You can do 19 or 199 for premium. You can have two reminders and free. You can have five reminders in premium, and you can upload one attachment per day and free or 99 per day in premium. You can also have members of a shared list. That's one of the interesting features of tick Tick, the collaboration and in free you gonna to which include the owner So it really only one or you in premium you have 30 or since it includes the owner, really only 29 not to create your account I want to do is click get started and then you can fill in your name, your email and your password and click get started, and that will automatically log. You're right in. You will have to verify your account to start verify your email so that you can get started with your account. You can also use Google Log in Apple Log in Facebook or Twitter. If you'd like to use those options as your log in as well. In the next lesson, we're gonna go over the interface for tick Tick so that you can see what it's all about and just get familiar with the application. 3. Interface Overview: This is the basic interface for tick, tick. You can see we're using my account literally. So you can see that I have a bunch of tasks in my Today view already. We have a next seven days view, the calendar with different day month views in it. This is kind of a feature that I loved the most. We have an inbox which is fairly standard. And we have our lists, right? So I have my development clients, different business tasks, personal content calendar, templates. We'll talk about the content calendar and templates later and closed lists. And these are just lists for things that have already done. We can look at our local calendar items and he completed tasks are trashed down here and then the summary of what we've been doing. Alright, so this gives me a list of everything that I've done. In addition to that. And Mac, if you hit Command the comma, you can find the general preferences. So give us stuff like how we choose to count tasks and are today view. Choose well the window tight when we're launching it for editor window or mini window. I just keep it as window languages. What we do with the app when we launch it, whether it's minimized. This is one that I've changed about keep text in tasks or removed text in tasks. We'll cover that later in more detail and how we deal with time zones. There's a few other settings in here as well, right? Login to our profile, that is how I signed into my account. We can see premium if you haven't upgraded to premium like I have, this will give you a view to upgrade to premium. And you can look at your smart list. You can see I've hidden some of mine, right? I could show the ol list and you can see it's showed up over here. I'm going to keep that hidden cause I haven't found it useful or show me today list or my Tomorrow list the next seven days, then anything that's assigned to me that's under the collaborative tasks which we'll cover later in the calendar completed. And these other ones that I've already shown you. And I'll set our task defaults here, right? Default date is none. You can set the default date or duration here. And we can set the default date mode being set through how we're gonna deal with reminders are priority, the completion sound and how we wanted to do overdo tasks. How they're gonna show at the top of the list or at the bottom of the list. And we can also change how we're gonna do the default addtwo at the bottom of the list. We can set up our calendars here. You can see I have a bunch of calendars already as my local calendars that have sinks. And we can subscribe to third-party calendars if we wanted as well. Or you can subscribe to Google or another calendar if we'd like. Premium also offers Pomodoro features which we'll cover in a later video. And it offers habit tracking, which again we'll cover in a later video. You also get themes, right? You can set your default theme to white, gray. And you can set it to the blue. And I like the darker gray myself. Or you can use any of these premium themes if your premium member. Finally, we have our shortcuts. So one thing that we'll cover later is the Quick Add bar, which I activate by control option space. You can see I can enter tasks in here fairly quickly. And that's a global shortcut on Mac OS. We can chain how are we going to hide the windows and just our general keyboard shortcuts. So make sure when you open up tick, tick to go through these things and have an idea of what you want your settings to be in tick, tick. In our next lesson, we're gonna go over how to add tasks and Mac OS. 4. Adding Tasks in macOS: Non-silicon adding tasks for MacOS. I'm gonna start right in my inbox because this is the default place that tasks will end up. And we can start by clicking in the new task box at the top. And we can just add a tasks. So let's add a task to. It'll delete this task after recording. I can type that in and then click Enter. Now we may have more details on this task. And here we can add those in. Because I write, I don't need this task. And we can put it in a list if we want. We can put it in a bulleted lists. Another interesting thing we can do is we can actually turn some of these into subtasks by clicking on this three lines up here. You can see I've turned every line into a subtask and, and we could still fill him to description and can resolve these. And then we can actually turn them back into the bullets if we wanted. Now, so come in here and set priority, right? High, medium, low or none. We can set our due date and say this is tasks is going to be due on Monday. So we can set reminders if we want. So one day early or on the day, or customer reminder. You can set if we want this to repeat. So maybe you have to build your clients every month. And you can also set the duration of the task. You can say it's from 12 to 1230 if we wanted or we can say it's an all day task. And if you don't want to set Ps, you can hit clear. You can also see your formatting options down here where we can go to the immersive writing or it's going to take up our full window, go back out of it. And he said our headings, set bold. If we wanted just using Markdown syntax of double asterisks. We could highlight tasks or highlight information if we want with the double colon. And you can set up our check items are lists if we wanted or italicized straight into a horizontal line, create links. Or we can add code if we wanted as well. And it's something that I might use a coder. So I could put it in here and I can say, say git command get in it just to represent that this is a code command, not general text. And you can also add quotes as well. So you can use a quote just by typing the greater than sign and then typing in your text. For that, we can also add comments on here if we wanted. This is more useful when you're doing collaborative tasks, which we'll cover later. You can throw the task and the trash if you want. And you can also see some other stuff in here. You can add tags, which is a premium feature. You can set up your Pomodoro. If you wanted to start a Pomodoro specifically for this task, you can upload attachments to the task like images, PDFs. You can click task activities and it'll show you a log of everything that's happened. We can duplicate the task. We could copy the task link as well if we are going to put it somewhere else and also print the task if we'd like. And the interesting thing with tick, tick is at the top, we can actually start setting duration just by dragging this line. And if we have checklist in here, it will automatically do it for us. It'll start showing us the amount that we've completed of this task. Everyplace we can add tasks in Mac OS is from the menu bar. You can see I've already selected my inbox or I could change two on the list if I wanted. And I could just add a task in the exact same method here. And I can change even how I sort the tasks. More my settings opened the main window or even sign out. Our Pomodoro feature is accessible here, which we'll talk about later. In the next lesson, we'll look at our quick add syntax because instead of clicking all around the interface, we can greatly simplify our time. If we learn the quick add syntax. 5. Quick Add Syntax: In this lesson, we're going to cover the quick add syntax for tick tick. So you can enter tasks faster. Click Add syntaxes available anywhere you can enter a task. So I can use it here in the task box, or most often i use it from the Quick Add toolbar that can pop up anywhere in Mac OS. And this case I'd add a task. We'll call it quick add. And now we have our different options. So I can assign it to a list by using the carrot or the tilda character, and I will assign it to inbox, just let it's there. You can also assign a tag to it if I wanted. So I can say this is an in progress task or QA. You can create your own tags as you go. You can also set a due date if I want. So there's two ways to do this. I can use the smart date parsing, which I've turned on in my general settings. I can say this is due tomorrow at 02:00 PM and that will make it due tomorrow at 02:00 PM. And he also set the priority if I want write high, medium, low or none. So this one to a high priority task. And if we're doing collaborative tasks, I could actually use the at symbol here and then it would autocomplete the people that I'm collaborating with. Let's click enter. And we'll see our task added right to our inbox now with our tag, it's in the proper list. It's got a due date already set for us without us needing to click through the interface to make it happen. So learning this walk is really going to help you increase your speed as you enter tasks so that you can enter it as you're doing something else and just move on with the thing you should be doing. In our next lesson, we're going to look at some of the Organization features that tick. Tick provides. 6. Organization Features: In this lesson, we're going to look at some of the ways that you can organize your tasks according to tick, tick. Start by resolving the quick on-task. And let's just process my inbox right here. So the first thing I've got to do is add posts to spreadsheets for Patrick. You've selected this task. We can go in and we can add it to a list or we can add our due date to it. I should probably do this today. So I'm gonna select today. Ok, so now we have our due date set. And I'm also going to move this to a different list. I'm going to move it into, Since this is for an excess One of my reading clients, I'm gonna move it into next s. That's going to process that. And that way we can do this is go into drag and drop so I can say chores. I've already set my milk chore that I have to get later today and I've already tagged as an errand so they can see all Aaron's in one spot. And I can drag that and drop it into chores. Now this is an idea I have for content for the future on my YouTube site. So I will go to my content calendar here and mark it as ideas. So you have multiple things here to organize, right? I have what they call folders and then I also have what they call lists. Two of my clients, proud pubs and Honda. We can create a new folder and new lists at the same time by clicking Add List. Here I'll put new list. And you can choose our color if we want, we can choose our folder. And this is how we create a folder. So I can say New Folder and we'll call it. Now you can see our new folder over here. You can also choose if this is a hidden list. So anything in here, this list or this project that if we click hit in will automatically hide it from our next seven days and some of our smart lists. In this case, I'm going to leave it because I'm actually going to delete it fairly soon. And we'll save. And now if I look at my new folder, I have a new list here as well. To close a list, I can click on it and hit delete, and I'll delete my list. We also simply close IT. Volunteer has finished working with this client. I can just close it. And it will show up in my closed lists right here. To delete a folder. Isn't quite clear. It doesn't say delete anywhere here, but what you have to do is click Ungroup and Ungroup. And we deleted our folder. So if I ungrouped dev clients here, those two lists would become their own projects with on their own. The other thing we can do is tags. So looking at this, this is for a client. I could tag this as work. I can do tags down here by clicking tags. And I can choose my tag or and put a new one. So this would be an email task. And I should check on this and on the tenth. And this is also a business task or business admin. The final very interesting view is the con bond. You go into business and you can see my list for this tick tick course. And you see the Kanban view. We can cycle that by clicking up here to ListView. This is say, all the tasks that have to do or Kanban view. Then here I can go through and choose what I want. So I already recorded the video for adding tasks to Mac OS. I can move that over to edit. I've already done quick add syntax. And I'm just now doing your organization features, so we'll drag that over there as well. And this lets me see as I go through all the videos that I have to do, I can go through and say what has to be edited, What is ready to upload and what different tasks or in project. In our next lesson, we're gonna take a look at iOS and see the few differences and how we can use it to add tasks or to tag our content because it is just slightly different than the Mac OS version. 7. Adding Tasks in iOS: Now an iPad OS, there are a few differences in our quick add syntax. So we can add a Quick Add task here. And MacOS, we can use the caret character, but that's not going to autocomplete a list and iPad OS. So here we'll type that tilda character and we can start searching. So let's say this is a skill share task. And then we can use our trackpad or we could touch with their finger to add it to that list. And we can set a tag here. We'll call this a this Week one. We can also set a due date with smart date parsing. So we can say Morrow at 01:00 PM and we can set a priority if we'd like as well, call this a medium priority task. And I want a little nice things. If I click Enter here, press enter. It's actually keeping all those things I just entered so I could add multiple tasks very quickly to iPad OS from this view. Other, a few other things here that are different. When I want to go in and continue organize a task. You can see right now I have no ability to tag this task. I can set my priority if I wanted. I could change lists if I wanted. There's no autocomplete from this list view. And I can also see things like there's a photo or I could add a photo, I can add attachments and I can share it. I could tag it. I can comment on it, add location to it. So I could actually say this is at a local store to me. So I could say it is down here. Pinch. I can scroll all the way down and it is next time I pass this area right here. So this will alert me that that task is available when I pass the outdoor store in kilowatt here. If I want to tag this, actually have to click inside. And then I can come over here and click tag and then I can choose my tag. So I can say this week. And you see here as iMac or iPad OS bug when I type this week here and then try to select with the cursor, it doesn't work. So I actually have to use my finger to type, to select this week. And now we've tagged that task which will show up right down the bottom, right there. And our text formatting is available by clicking the underscore a. We could also go in and create a list here. Right here if I wanted to or a completion list if I wanted to, by clicking that right there, taking these three lines and I will turn that back off because this is just text of an email from my email client Spark. And that's really the main difference is outside of not having a Quick Add box. So we can't type control option space here to get that. Although there are shortcuts for tik, tik, they provide six or seven of them. And I've got a couple of my own. Later on in this course, we'll actually cover the shortcuts that tick tick provides you. And I'm going to provide a copy of my shortcuts so that you can see them for your work later. In the next lesson, we're going to look at some of the integrations that tick, tick has with stuff like Alexa and zap. You're just talking about some of the ways that you could use those integrations to get tasks into your task manager. 8. Integrations: There are a bunch of other ways to get tasks into tik, tik with its integrations. So we go to tick, tick.com slash integrations. We can see some of those because he's happier at IFTTT. Those are both automation platforms. So they would allow us to detect if a, say a new comment is made on a GitHub issue. And if that happens, we can send a task over to tick, tick and IFTTT does the same thing. Gmail has an integration, Spark has integration, which I will show you my spark integration. So integrate with the Amazon device, which I have sitting behind me. So I won't mention its name. Google assistant shortcuts, which I will show you in a later video as well. Outlook is coming soon as is slack. Let's look quickly at our integration in Spark. So you enable this in Spark by clicking more or this little three dots up here, then you'd add a service and you can see a spark has other applications that would work with. And then you select tick, tick and Azure information. I want to add a task at tik, tik, I would click tick, tick. And then I can add in my extra stuff. This is get back to my friend John, who instantly does excellent SEO work. And then we'd click Save. And this will now be in my inbox. All right, you can see right there and I'd actually should title it properly to reply to John. Now I have this task for later. That's really it for integrations as far as we'll cover today. But if you have an Amazon device or a Google device, you could actually set it up so you can call out to your device and add tasks to tick tick without needing to touch anything. So this can be happened If you're in the kitchen or something like that when you hear your tasks it. So certainly if you have these devices or these applications, explore how tik, tik integrations can work for you. 9. Templates: Now let's talk about the templating features that tick tick provides. Unfortunately, templates are not currently activated on MacOS. They are however, available on iOS, Windows, Android, and the web. So to add a new template, what you're going to do is go into General Settings, your settings over here with the gear. And then go to general and click template and make sure templates is activated. And then you can see I have a checklist here of subtasks for our main task or for a trip. Then we can click apply template and the bottom. And that will successfully at this task to our inbox. Go back to your inbox. You can say, I have a task, things to pack for traveling. We can also activate that by going to add a new task and then clicking this little paper icon in the top corner. And then we can choose a template that we want. So let's say to-dos before work. And now I have to do is before were. I don't love this templating feature as much because I like to organize my task a little differently. But we'll come to what I have in my templates folder and how I use that with Siri shortcuts later. In fact, our next lesson, we'll be covering Siri shortcuts and how we can use that to integrate with tick, tick. 10. Shortcuts: Tick, tick has fairly good shortcuts support. That's what we're going to look at right now. You can see under their support articles, they actually list all of their shortcuts that they have to have one that you can download to add tasks from a clipboard. Or few of those, one that will add it as a description one and add that add subtasks for me and I was 14. That doesn't work at the moment because of an issue with text parsing that's not tick ticks vault. We can add a few different ways. We can also add from the system input box. We can go to today's tasks. Specifically. We can open a specific list. We can open our monthly view or even start one of our Pomodoro timers. It also goes a little further than that. If you want, we can use a URL scheme or an x callback URL to call directly in and use the parameters in tick, tick. So if I wanted to open the list, you can see I have an example right here. We do tick, tick colon slash slash v1 show question-mark Smart list equals today we'll open that up. And you can combine these and you can loop through them in shortcuts to create your own shortcuts. Now one that I've done that I'm going to show you right now is my duplicate tasks shortcut. So let's go into tick, tick to open this up. Let's start by opening our lists and create a new one called dupe. I'm going to call it that simply because there's an issue with iPad was 14 and text parsing. And now I'm going to open up shortcuts and I'm in my TT duplicate project titled everything as T T so that if I wanted to run from shortcuts or from the quick vitamin D, I can say like that, duplicate ten that I can select it. So here I'm going to click duplicate project, and I'm going to pick one of my template projects. That's going to be a video project. And it created all of my tasks in here out of my video project. Now I can edit the title of this and it would be best video idea. And I could choose whatever color I want it in here, usually do purple for my projects and this would go into my content calendar as well. And now I have duplicated a project inside tick, tick, write C the best video ideas right there inside tick, tick will actually cover how I use my content calendar in a future video. So you can see exactly what I use here. You'll find a link to this shortcut in the course materials. 11. Siri: In this lesson, we're going to look at how tactic integrates with Siri. So now I can hit Settings. I would select Siri and then I would add tasks via Siri and then click OK to allow this. Then it gives you some syntax, but I can say add CO2 library to tick, tick. Let's try that. I'll click the lock button on my iPad per hold it and get milk to tick, tick. We can see that I have this in my inbox now. Gets milk. Now I already knew I needed to do that, so I will resolve this task for now because I don't actually need it. This will work with Hey Siri in your phone or via headphones as well if you like that. And it can be an easy way to add tasks to your list while you're driving or doing other things like that. 12. Calendar: In this lesson, we're going to look at the calendar that tick, tick provides and some of the different things that you can do with it. Really, this is one of my favorite features of tick, tick. So you can go in here and you can select if you want to, Dave, you week view for month view. One of my favorite features, if I click into next month, you can see all of my different items, but I can also filter them. I could filter them to see only show me stuff with a certain tag like my content calendar. And I only see items in my content calendar. How should cover my content calendar in a future video? And this view, I could also go in and CO2 arranged tasks. And I can drag tasks off my lists out of tags or by priority directly onto my calendar. Now lets clear our filters on the calendar. And let's say that I need to find that task to reply to my friend John. So I'm gonna take that and drag it right off and drop it in to later today. So remember to reply to my friend John. It's important to remember that calendaring is a premium feature. But I've really found it invaluable in planning my day and doing effective time blocking with my tasks that I really can stay on track and know what I'm doing at a certain time. 13. Pomodoro: In this lesson, we're going to look at the Pomodoro features that are provided in tick, tick under the premium account. So define those. You can hit Command comment and Mac to get to your Settings and go to demo. And then we actually have to enable them to make them work. So we have a daily focus goals we can set. So how many pomodoro cycles do we want, right? I think six is generally a really good one beacon set. How long our duration is. He said our Pomodoro duration. So 25 minutes is standard. If you're having trouble focusing that and cut that down, there's generally a five minute break between and then every four, you get a long break of 15 minutes. That is the general way that this works. To access pomodoros, we can either do it from the menu and where we focus and we choose what we're going to focus on. And it even gives us graphs. If we go into our overall, we can say this is daily. So let's look at weekly. Let's see, I've done some of them, not all of them. But to activate this, we would go into a task. And then we can come in here and hit Start focus, and they'll hit Start Palmer. So it started, you can see a counting down in our top bar. And it will run for 25 minutes with you focused. And you can even set some sounds for it if you'd like where it ticks in the background or how it completes. And you use this when you need to focus on a task, he's wanna focus without distraction. This is a good feature to have lots of people use to get more done so they stay focused. In our next lesson, we're going to look at the habit tracker that is included inside tick, tick. 14. Habit Tracker: In this lesson, we're gonna take a look at the habit track. To activate the habit tracker, we can hit Command comma and put her how it tracker and turn it on. And you see there's a new item in our menu on the side. Now, let's say I want to add a new item and I need to go to bed at go to bed at 09:30 PM daily because I really do need to do that and I can set a reminder for myself at nine o'clock. Pluto, remember to go and I can display of log as well. So now I have a daily reminder or daily item to say, did I go to bed? So last night, did I go to bed? I can log it and I can actually say here, I did not at ten o'clock. And that's not good because I really don't want to go to bed late. And if we click on the tasks, you can see how many times I checked in with it. And it even gives you my little cry face and gives me a log of what I did. So these can be really good. If you want to say drink more water, you want to watch less TV. You want to go to bed at the right time. All those things can be kept in tick, tick as you have it log as well. And you can even make sure or check here for your have a log to show it in your calendar and to show it is a task to do and today or in the next seven days. So you remember to log these everyday alongside the rest of your tasks. In our next video, we're gonna take a look at collaborative tasks in tick, tick. 15. Collaborative Tasks: If you're working on a team, then tick, tick allows you to collaborate on lists. And we can do that by going to our ListView up on the top. And we can click share. So we can enable a sharing link, which is Solomon thing we'd just give to someone they would have access to it. Stop shared link or we could add someone that we know. So let's just add my other email. So now I have added this person and they are appending seven shared now. So we'll join, sign in to create a new account here, but then I would have access to the list. You can see now that I'm signed into my personal account, I can accept the skill sharer list, not the verify my e-mail. Let's come back over here and confirm my email. That ought to sign in. Again where I'm already signed in, I can skip this and then click on Join now. Except the list. Accept it. And I can see the notification in my own personal tick, tick. And I have the same skill sharer list right here. We can see what's completed. This also allows me to assign tasks, right? I can assign it to me or to other me at this point. And that could also comment on it, right? I could say, hey, at curtis, You need to off. And then you can see right here, I can open it. And I have seen this notification here. And I can see that there is a comment underneath the content counter for tick, tick. And I know that I need to do it. And I would say, okay at Curtis, Personal other curtis. So if you have light collaboration tasks, say you have an assistant doing some of your things. I used to have an assistant doing some of my email work. Then you can assign Taft's back and forth in this way with light collaboration inside tick, tick. Remember on the free planar lab to collaborators. So one of those is yourself and one of them is someone else. So that can get you a long way if you don't need a wide collaboration. In fact, for almost all the collaboration I do that would be perfect. In our next video, we're gonna go over literally how I plan my weekend, tick, tick and you'll get to walk through most of what I do. 16. Planning A Week: In this video, we're gonna take a look at really how I use tick, tick to plan my week. So first off, let's reorganize this slightly. And I've already done this and this and this, and I'm actually working on this video right here. And what else do I have to do next week? I need to go that one's already done so I can archive this list, close that list. Automatic wordpress deployment. I need to look at writing that again, actually require some testing, so I need to create a new task and here, check the that's actually a blocked task right now until I do, I don't wanna go to my tags. Actually wanted me back here. Automatic word plus deployment. And I'm going to delete this tag right now because that is not this week task, that is a task over here for this week. So I need to do this first. And if I don't do this, I can't do the rest of it if this doesn't work or there's a bug in a UI that I can't do anything about. My sights to argue any site tasks. Nope. I'm Men tasks. That doesn't have a due date, so we'll plan that means I'm going to tag it as this week again. Here. Tag this week, right? That's not this week. That's already has a due date. So I'm gonna do my iPad. Owe us 14 likes. So I got that right. And that will be right. I was like, I'll take that as this week. Vce amount on plywood base amount. That's also going to get this week. You have to build that this weekend. Sunday. Pre-built that Sunday. The build apply what VCE amount for the iPad and keyboard shoot out. The next one I need to write keyboard shoot out five iPad keyboards to look at. And that will also be this week. Alright, now we can go back into my calendar view. And I'm going to go on to look at week. I want to go into the next and I want to look at this week. So this week, here's some of my tags right here. I don't have a lot of tags. I really only use it for this week. And then I also have to click here to see could I started work very early, as you can tell, that 515 in the morning. So some of the things they need to you need to pick up Cynthia socks and we're usually do that on a Friday afternoon. That's my heritage time. Check the user interface to see if I can write that. This is a writing task. I usually do those on Mondays, so we'll do that on Mondays. And if this isn't done, then I will find the next writing project for that car. For that client. I'll whitelist V card that will actually take a longer let's grab it and give it the entire afternoon. That's how long it will take. Somebody I can stick at the end of Monday is the caste OS email. Do you need to reset my apple security questions? Let's make that a Monday task as well. I should actually probably make that a my wife works in these times. I can probably put that right here. Something I can do while I'm watching some kid. So these blank areas my wife is usually working on these days. I had to write the iPad OS 14 likes, and I'll go into a writing block and will give this and our money to write the VCE amount. That will be mainly just pulling together like links and stuff because I'll be doing it all on video and write my keyboard shootout. And how we'll probably use the keyboards during this time. So I'll bring that into finished video script prep. And it'll be right here. Again, this will probably weren't links to anything than, than anything else. And I know I have some other projects in here, so let's just shrink up these lists. Skill share tick, tick will get done next week. I'll grab some of the rest of these. And again, whatever writing will end up in here for next S will probably flood into these other times and I know that. So I'm just going to totally leave them blank and not worry about it. And really, that's all I do every week to play in my day. So Friday, I literally planned it with you. It took about ten minutes of recording right here, and I have planned my week, so when I wake up Monday morning, I know I will read at that. I'll work on these two things. I'm not sure why this is still on my calendar color don't go anymore. Can archive that. They go and lease blanket. Then I'll do client work in this afternoon. Tuesday morning, I will write I will work for Ronald and I will read I'll read again on Wednesday and then finished video script prep. So that's if these need to get finished or if this video needs to get finished. I would do all that kind of in one shot on those days. And that's I play my we quit tik, tik. I love it because you can actually put your tasks directly on your calendar and just see what real-world time they'll take up. In our next video. I'm gonna give you a tour of my content calendar in tick, tick. 17. Content Calendar: In this lesson, we're gonna look at how I do my content calendar and tick, tick. Let's start because I only need to do this is I will use my duplicate project and we'll go to Duke, which we already showed you. I'll create that and then let's find my idea, my content calendar, and I will find my idea here. And let's do a keep it quick look. That's the one I'll do right here. So that means I'm going to start by going to shortcuts. And I will use duplicate project, my video project. And it's been created here. And now I will edit the title. Keep it. Quick. Look, goes under my content calendar. Done. I'll change my title here to schedule. Quick look. And then I will also add a tag for the bottom area. This is my content calendar. That tag is an important part of this. Down here. Keep it quick look and then I can actually resolve the idea because I'm going to do it now. Now I come over to my calendar and I going to actually do my filtering first. You go to view options, change the range. And I want to go find my tag. And I only want to see things that have content calendar as a tag. That's gonna make a bunch of things blank. I also want to go to a month view. So now you can see that I have content all the planet, all the way into September already. Go over one more. And I can now click here to arrange my task and say keep it quick look. So now I have my next piece of content sitting right here as we keep a quick look and I can actually go in and no. So I want to know like what projects I'm working on lately, what do I have to do? What is my next item on my content calendar? How far I have planned ahead? I'll have to do is go into my calendar view, adjust my view options, and see which projects are coming up. So you can see I have an iPad was 141 VCE amount and under desks headphone thing and some other stuff or week of activity for running and other stuff like that. So you can see more into my life and what I do. That's really all you do for my content calendar. Tick, tick makes it super easy to deal with a content calendar. 18.
