About This Class

Modes are an incredibly important part of guitar theory. We’ve broken this complicated subject down into an easy to digest Master Class for all levels! Before diving into this comprehensive video series, make sure you know the basics like the musical alphabet and notes on the neck.

This course will take you step-by-step through each of the seven modes. You'll begin with an introduction to modal theory in general, and then go in order through the modes as you learn the theory and application of each (with a chance to practice along with a custom backing track!). You'll also learn how to combine modes.

You'll find free print outs for each mode showing you all the shapes.

Ready to take your playing to the next level? Check out our other course on the CAGED system, too!
