Huggy helps us to disconnect from circular patterns of thought on connect with the heart, emotions and our breath. When we reach out and hug somebody, a number of amazing things happen to us. Endorphins and serotonin are released into the blood vessels. Instantly lifting are moved on, making us feel great. Our muscles relax, which releases tension in the body, taking away pain and soothing aches by increasing circulation into the soft tissues. Leaving us feeling calm and oh so relaxed are the biological events take place, including our blood pressure being lowered and the risk of heart problems are significantly reduced? And did you know that just 15 minutes of holding hands with a romantic partner can help reduce stress and all its harmful physical effects? And let's not forget our furry friends. We also launched the campaign simply to bring about the awareness off positive benefits of being hugged. Just two seconds of being hugged, even by a perfect stranger boosts our bodies levels of serotonin, the chemical responsible for lifting our moved and helping us to feel happier. A study by Harvard indicated that receiving eight hugs for day stimulates the production of oxytocin, which contributes to one's overall sense of happiness and well being. In addition, the famous family therapist Virginia sat here said humans need full hugs daily for survival , eight for maintenance and 12 daily for gross.
