Project Description

PODCAST HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Without a microphone, there is no podcast. Earlier we said that all you need to produce a podcast are a microphone and a broadband internet connection. These are just a couple tools needed, but there’s more podcast equipment needed.

The type of microphone you use can greatly affect how your podcast is perceived.

A low quality microphone will generally produce a low quality podcast. While a higher quality microphone will give the podcast a professional sound.

Because high quality audio is the most important. It’s smart to invest money into a Blue Yeti Microphone.

The software you use for your podcast primarily comes into play for recording the show and post production (to improve the quality and professional as possible).

One of the best recording and editing software is Camtasia Studio 8.

While designed primarily for video, but you can quickly and easily improve the audio quality. Also, easily edit out mistakes.
