Project Description

Use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create a puppet face, then import the piece to Adobe Character Animator to record a short video!  Post the results (jpg of the face or video link of the puppet) to this project page.

1. draw out the elements of a face either digitally or on regular paper.  Remember each mouth shapes (Neutral, Smile, Surprised, Ah, D, Ee, F, L, M, Oh, R, S, Uh, W-Oo), eye parts (pupil, blink, eyebrow) and any separate parts you may want to animate such as pieces of hair.

2. assemble these pieces within Photoshop or Illustrator and keep the folder hierarchy that Character Animator will understand.


3. Import in to Adobe Character Animator through "File-Import"

4. Do a short recording with your webcam/ computer microphone and "File-Export" the video as a H.264 file.  Post the video as a private link to YouTube or Vimeo and share on this page!
