About This Class

Make a fun lap-size quilt by following the rules of Sudoku number puzzles. Blocks are sewn as traditional nine-patches, but the layout depends on Sudoku!  This quilt can be a special gift that is easily personalized with choice of fabric.  Holiday themes, animals or colors sparkle and draw you in because of the seemingly complex arrangement of squares.

Supplies:

9 fat quarters in different colors or prints

1/2 yd solid fabric for sashing

Rotary cutter, mat, ruler

Sewing machine in good working order

Basic sewing kit: Thread, pins, scissors, seam ripper

At the end of this class, students will have a finished quilt top, not a completed quilt.
