About This Class

Song structure is the composition of sequences in a form such that the end result is a song. Students should enroll to find out about structure types and how to better evolve your Hip-Hop records. In this class, I will be going over elements of a song and the utilization of creative freedom in your songs to give them an identity. In this project, I will be diving into an instrumental I produced and breaking down each section. After watching, you’ll be able to structure your own song! This class is geared towards artists and producers alike to better understand song structure. No prior knowledge will be necessary as I will be explaining the process using beginner’s terms.

DG placed his first radio record with ‘Bout Dat’ featuring Grafh and Jim Jones. The single accumulated a total of over half a million listens online. To date, DG’s music has been played on radio stations such as Shade 45, Power 105, Hot 97, Pandora, and more. His material has also been on blogs such as, 2DopeBoyz, Vibe, HipHopDX, and more. He also placed as the top producer in New York State with the iStandard Producers platform in 2013. Now, after collaborating with notorious names such as Joe Budden and Fred The Godson, DG’s success continues to grow. As he continues to work with his team and build his accolades, DG is sure to surpass even his own expectations.
