Project Description

Design a Calligraphy Stroke Tattoo

ASSIGNMENT

The class videos will walk you through the following steps:

  1. Complete the three exercises provided in the Exercises and Guides PDF.
  2. Sketch up ideas for your own tattoo using the strokes you have learned and one of the four suggested approaches 
  3. Design an elegant or dynamic asemic (without words) calligraphic tattoo. Shapes and strokes of the tattoo to be created using the Pilot Parallel pen.

DELIVERABLE

  1. Upload your exercises - Exercise 1, 2 and 3
  2. Upload your design sketches and work-in-progress
  3. Upload your final tattoo design! Requirements: design should include a minimum of two different calligraphic strokes derived from the exercises and all strokes done with the Pilot Parallel pen
