Project Description

Use the attached dataset to try it yourself. In the future more exercise videos will come.

Okido, little exercise without SPSS:

If my hypothesis is about students and party behaviour. And I have a student of 80 years old. (all the others are 25 or lower). Would the 80 year old be an outlier? And what to do with it?

----------------------

Answer:

The 80 year old is an outlier. In this case he should be removed from the dataset, since he doesnt really belong within the population of students who could possibly party. If the hypothesis is about age and seriousness in study behaviour, you should have kept him... but lowered his age to the second oldest student ;)
