1. Introduction: Hello and welcome in the spot on X and graphics in after effects. In this serious, I want to teach you useful after effects, tips and tricks. How you can create interesting X and graphics, circle bursts, pop ups and all those little motion graphics which can update your video and make it look a bit nicer. I'll teach you this design from scratch from an empty layer toward a finished animation you can use for your videos. The entire workflow will be really fun, efficient and great to learn. Please join me inside the class and we will have a lot of fun designing together and roll now. And I'll see you on the other side. See you then. 2. LECTURE 1: hello and welcome you in today's tutorial. This will be a really cool and interesting thing in after effects to learn. So let us start right away without wasting any time. I'll at first select a color scheme. Let me select a few viable color schemes, and I want at least two strong colors, like red and the yellow or green and yellow something, for example. This also draws my attention. Well, it doesn't have to different colors, but I like this overall cold and bluish scheme. It's like my favorite color. I always go ahead for the blue ones. Um, but let's maybe be a bit more creative here. This is also interesting. It may be a rectal style. Um, what else do we have? This looks kind of nice. Well, they do have selected. I think they are really great. So I work with them, maybe even this one. This one is really cool, and I will simply on the right side, had safe or export. I'll just make a print screen or hold it in the background because my screen is bigger. I have after effects in the part of my screen and the bottom part of my screen can be this color scheme, so I'll just remain with the color is OK. Open up after effect. Please create a new composition. As usual, we create a composition for now. Call it Camp One. It doesn't matter. HD size 30 frame rate and consideration off five seconds will be completely enough. That's even too much. Okay, select OK, and please create at least your background and the composition and select a color scheme. And this will be it for the first lesson. So in order to make a background, I'll go to my timeline. I'll select right click New. I will select a new solid. Then I will take the Pickwick I select Pickwick. I click and I select my background core. My background color will beat the darkest color from the scheme I selected. Once I have this repaired, I'll lock it down so it doesn't go in the way. And this is my composition preferred for work. Let's follow to the next lesson where we'll create our animation 3. LECTURE 2: Okay. Welcome back. The second lesson will be to create to shape layers and in orderto somewhat be around the middle. I'll open this this little box and I'll open title action safe. By the way, this box is to open up. You great. Your guide. Your rulers, You can change the grade. You can make those those objects bigger or smaller. You can add rulers like that. But this is not necessary for now. So let me select a short card and also get rid of the great. Okay, I've opened title action save and I'll select my pen tool. Now I want to make sure that I have no feel selected. If you have NFL click on the text, select none and select. Okay. And for the stroke, I want one off the colors I selected for my color scheme. So I click on the color I was selected Pickwick, right? Click anywhere and I try to see my color. Okay, this PT one now come a bit closer with the scrolling and my first object will be like that . And my second object will be to the right side. So the first object will have three points and I don't have to be exactly the middle because I want to freestylers a bit here, So boom, boom! Oh, sorry. Boom. Have it round it. And it sounded like that. Okay, you should get an object like this. You can still adjust those points. Don't worry about that. But I can do this later or I can stay with them essays because I think that's an interesting shape. Now I want to make this trip layer number one Police create also a second shape layer. For this you need to click away. You need to select the second color you have preferred. So I set up my second color and the second color WAAS. More like pinkish or I had also Violet called last year. But let's say that the pinkish will be OK and the pinkish object, a pinkish line, will be only with two points. This had 3.1 to treat, but the 2nd 1 will be one click and drag, click and drag, drag, drag like this so this object will be a little bit more equal because those two points will determine how does it look off course. This also has determination by those three points and I could make it equal. I think those made with two points is a bit more equal, a bit more clean. But that doesn't matter that it is better because later on we'll use or point. Okay, this would be my initial object, which I will add it here in the shape layers so I'll maybe call it with. Enter Right pink and this left peach. Please do the same, and you will be proper to continue the work. I will see you in the next lesson where we'll continue going forward and trying to finalize those animations. Thank you for listening in this lesson and let's head over to the next one. 4. LECTURE 3: Hello again. Welcome to lesson number, Tree. Now this will be finally the animation. Let's say that you have the color scheme. You have those two layers prepared right and left. And let me start with adding repeater and adding trim Pat. Okay, I've opened up the right one. Please add a repeater. Open up the repeater and this will be very, very simple. You see, I have 123 because I have three copies here that maybe make it 66 Should be okay, I'll open up my transform repeater, and you need to make the position zero, because by default it's always 100 0 so it is shifted like this, But we want to have zero 000 everywhere and in the rotation. Press your left, old key, click on it. And right here on the right side, 3 60 divided by Take this big whip. Oh, I don't see it now I need to go a bit up. Let me go back here. Take this big quip and link it to the coffee's. Now, No matter how many copies you have, it will be always divided by 3 60 degrees. I'll maybe make eight. It's no problem. Now. You need to do the same on the left one. Please open up the left Ed repeater open repeater. Remember that you have three things to do in the repeater. One change the position to zero to make the rotation like this with the left old G. It's called an expression. Open up the expressions and tree right here. 3 60 divided by Pickwick Copies. Okay, click away. And that it? I have three copies. Maybe make it five. And the previous one. Maybe I was a bit overeager with eight ones. Six, because I don't see many things here on the screen now, but that doesn't matter. I'll adjust that in a second. Let me close both of them. And let's proceed to the next lesson where we will work with the twin Pat and we will finally start to shape this animation in tow one fluid motion and try toe. Finalize this entire Tink. I hope I'll see you in the next lesson. Let's go over once you have preferred those repeater options 5. LECTURE 4: Okay, this will be finally the fun part. Once you have the right and left, report like this, please select for example, the right. Open it up, select Ed and select through him. Pat, Once I have trim PET, I'll open the trim pets and will work with start and end. You can notice that start in and allows us to animate this this line. So my trick here is what I usually do if we want the lines to quickly disappear is to make boat 0% boom, boom at a key frame. Go to one second or where you want this information to finish and 101 100 and you have a prepared animation. The only thing you have to do is, for example, to select the start key frames. You see, you have four key frames, start key frames and the end key frames. I can take the start key frames, place him a bit forward and boom, the animation is prepared. Maybe you'll see it better if the 2nd 1 is invisible. Boom. Okay, it really, really nice motion. And we would like to make it a bit nicer. That why we select all key frames right click key frame assistant. Eazy E's easy mayst emotion have it more fluent, a bit nicer, and we can still adjust this motion. I think it looks very interesting, but I want to select all Keep rings. I want to go to the graph editor. Press vetoes have my selection to open, and I'll make a motion like that. Let's privatise. So it's a bit slower at the beginning and then it fades off. Maybe maybe the end should be also been adjusted. So it gains speed in the middle about here. It's on top speed and then it slowly fades off. Okay, let's preview the animations. Boom. Yeah, this looks pretty nice. And the cool thing here is that Trump at you can copy them over to the left side. I'll open the left peach. I'll just at trim pads. I can open the trim pat, and I don't have to do anything. I just take okey frames control. See? Click on this trip. It control V and boom! Those triplets are copied. Now, just make it visible again. Uh, okay. And this is the initial finalized animation. Well, a bit crazy. So now we can work with it. At first I want to kick on this layer and press my left old and page donkey. 12345 So I have it. Five frames later. Okay? Okay. This already looks a bit nicer. Then you can work with the key frames. I think the 2nd 1 is too quick. Let me shift the key frames forward and beautiful. It really starts to become beautiful. You can work with the key frames F you please to create a different motion. I think they shouldn't start together because it's to equal on the screen now. It's really beautiful. And in the next lesson, I shall show you the best trick in after effects that you can possibly imagine how you can adjust. Edit this innovation, Toby. Really better and better. Please follow me to the next lesson and you'll see something interesting. But first, please make sure that you have trim pots prepared like that. And you're animation. Looks about like this. Okay, This is what we have so far. Please head over to the next lesson. Once you are preferred 6. LECTURE 5: Hello and welcome to this finalizing lesson and this will be something super interesting. At first I want to close down my title action safe. And now what? Those animations. Well, let's say that you want those to be a bit different, a bit more around it, a bit more edited and watch what you can do during the animation. You don't have to change or stop anything. I can. For example, take this place and I want to adjust the peach one because I think you know the beach one. It's a bit too plain, too simple, and it's too close to this one. I click on the peach. I opened a peach. I click on the shape, I opened the shape and I click on the path. Clicking the pad will allow me toe change its point and now watch. I can click appoints. I can edit the points like that, and what's even more amazing? I can click my pen tool, and I can simply if I click on the right place at new points to this object now, boom! I have those new new points and I make a point like that like that I make this more around it. Then I take the second point because I wanted to end like this and I make a totally crazy motion. I even don't have to care. How will this look in the place where I am editing it? I've just received a motion like that in a matter of seconds. I don't need to do anything. I just Oh, I do like the peach control D I place it on top, I move it to the right side, and I changed the caller. Okay, I changed the color because I have also other colors prepared like the violet one. And I don't want to be as crazy, but I'll open left contents shape Pet, you don't have to click here. You only have to select the pad. Selecting the path allows you to edit the point if you have your move toe or your pencil selected. Now I can decide that this was a bit too crazy. So I just hit delete this point. I make emotion like that and like that, Like a flower or something. And the flower and here and here. Okay, now let's preview. I'll select everything. Depress you Not many key frames only a few key things like that. And what an amazing motion did we achieve? I have close everything down and boom, and you have to flower at the end. I really do like this motion may be the last one is a bit too long and a bit too quick, but you can fight with that. You can fight with that by selecting those key frames and placing them further away. Okay, this one also further away, and the animation will be a bit smoother, a bit slower. I really do like how the animation unfolds. And if you have any trouble or any adjustments, you can go to displace and like, work with the key frame. Then you can work with the stroke. You can make it tenor. You can make a ticker like that. If if you'd like, it's no problem. Let's preview. How would this look? Pretty decent, pretty decent. And if you would like to have this round it, this would be made in the shape in the stroke filled so I would open the shape. I know that that's pretty much thanks to handle, but I could open the stroke, but this is only address mints once. I'm already finished. I don't do anything. I just I just changed around Cap and I have rounded objects here. Okay, I don't like this beginning, so stroke should be smaller. Of course, a few more adjustments could be made, but I don't really need them. I have emotion like that, which I am very satisfied about. And I've really adjusted it in a matter of minutes. At this point, just remember, you can duplicate each object. You can change the color off each object, and you can change the points off each object as you please. So please take advantage of that to create really interesting and custom motions for your designs. If you do like this tutorial, please give me a positive review. It comes up. I will be really happy about that. And I hope that we see each other next. Tutorials. Thank you very much for watching this one. It was a really great journey. And I think I'll play a little bit around with it. Maybe I come up with something else. Maybe a different color scheme. Different Imation. I Do you like how it turned out from the very basic shapes. We made something completely different and useful 7. Thank You and how to submit a project: it would be really awesome, and I would appreciate it. If you would like to leave me a review, just click here, click the Time's Up and select Submit Review. You can also click here on the top off the site. Now let me explain how to submit a project once you have the animation completed, for example, like in the first part and you have the composition here ready, you go to composition. Add to render queue. Once you are in the render queue, just select an a movie fight. For example. Quick time the information coded It's OK, Select OK and select where the file should be saved. Won't you render the file? Then you can import the file into photo shop. Simply go to file, say for Web. You can lower the size here and said the looping options to forever you have here some basic options. Just make sure that the gift is fairly small. I'll go for 600 pixels because this is a amount that I know that showcases well and then just clicking forever and saving the file. This ready gift file can be uploaded to skills her as a product file
