1. Trailer Speed Branding For Non-Designers Series: you don't soprano with lots to offer a little time. Little Bonnie and the total body. If you want to get out there quickly, your role, my way. You, you're offers. Hey, I don't do the trick. They're compelling. And all these funds, they're they're just know, fits your on so frustrated you want to do it yourself. But you just don't know how they're targeting just about anyone. Seriously crystal clear that you're selling to you totally can't predict guest running on your own wreck spurs. So I never made me these big bucks. Just be happy in this. No, I don't. Your to sell your only child, you go. 2. The quickest way to find your perfect font combination: Okay, So far, we've covered the basic look and feel of your brand, and we found the perfect colors for your future client. Now it's time to look at your perfect front combination. Now the good news is that you don't need to buy your funds. There is a fantastic resource for weapons that is free, easy to use and open source They're not. So good news is that with hundreds off funds to choose from, it's easy to feel overwhelmed or to lose your focus or pick a fund combination that doesn't actually fit your brand. Which is why I've put together for you as special done for you. Typography workbook. Now, before we're taking a look at the workbook and how to use it, I want you to know why off all the free fund resource is out there, there is actually just one that I personally used and that is Google funds. Because Google phones are Web based forms that you can use on your website, you can also download them to your computer and use them with any software year using to build your business. You can use them for your commercial projects, which is incredibly important because worrying about licenses is the last thing you want to dio. And there is something for every taste. I know there are other. Resource is out there. But if you are just a little bit like me, your problem is not finding free. Resource is your problem is not getting distracted by way to many options and then wasting time without actually getting results. So to help you speed up the process and find a great front combination for your new brand I've put together for you this workbook with 30 done for you combinations and I'm going to show them to You know, what you see here is our typography workbook and I have included in this workbook three categories off fund combinations. The 1st 1 are just Google phones. The 2nd 1 is Google phones and can VA funds can. Va is a great design show that many people are using. If you don't know yet, don't worry, I'll come back to that later on. The third category is just Canada France. Why have I included these three categories? I've done that because, like I said, many people are using Kendall, but nothing sucks more than picking a great front combination than you can use for your website and on your computer, but not in the free Ken, Va. Where is it? So if you want your branding to be 100% consistent for each and every design, I want you to pick a fund combination from the yellow or orange category. If you don't use Kenya at all, a view using your front combination on your website on your computer and in the free can version, I want you to pick a combination from the orange category. And if you were only using Kenya for your designs, just take a combination from the orange or blue category. Now let's take a look at the actual fund combinations. There are 30 of them. Roll on every page and in the bottom quarter. I've always indicated the brand category. Then there is a fund for your headers. That's the actual fund name rocks all, and this is the fund size I've used in this very example. The second fund is used for the sub header, and the third phoned is used for your text body. What I want you to do when taking a look at all the different fund combinations from your relevant category. That's important. I want you to mark all the fund combinations dead you like, and you do that very quickly. This is nothing to think about. This is just a gut feeling exercise. And once you've put together a short list, no, down the top three concepts that you associate with the look and feel off this font combination. Once you've done that, I want you to think of the look and feel that you want to create for your own new brand, our product. And then you pick the fund combination that matches this brand look and feel the best. Once you've decided on one or two fund combinations, I want you to check out what I look like on the Web with a very cool too, that I'm showing, you know 3. How to test your font combination on the web: the jeweler want to show you now is perfect. If you're not only looking for funds you can use in documents or pictures, but also for your website. Off course. You can simply create a word document to play around with fonts and colors or sizes. But on the Web funds, my look different. And with the Web fund Combinator, you can preview fund combinations in a fast and browser based manner. Do you remember the aspired look and few for our example? Health Coach. It was sunny, sexy and self confident, and I didn't want to use a combination from our typography workbook. So I came up with a new set off Google funds. Now let's check out what the combination looks like on the If you want to change the head of fund, all you gotta do is click on the headline. You can see that here in this drop down box, then you click on the drop down box under fund, and he's simply enter your fund name. I always is called. Nothing you could do with this slider. Here you can change the size, and what you can also change is the color. Remember, I already told you it doesn't necessarily have to look black. I actually prefer a shade off. Great. Let's move on to the supper. Just click on it again, enter your front and play around with slider to see what different sizes look like. I actually like it at 20 pixels. He can change the font color again. And finally, let's enter the body text. I like it like that. If you're now saying I don't need sufferers, I want to know what my funds look like with just a headline fund and about you. Click on the subhead a box and you can hide the box to see what your combination looks like with just two funds. That's all I wanted to show you in this video, and now it's your turn. Pick your front combination. Try it out on the Web. If you have any questions at all or want me to create a couple of more fund combinations for you, just leave me a message in the discussion board and I'll get right to it. 4. My #1 free font resource and how to use it: in this video, I want to give you a brief introduction to Google phones and show you how to download your phones to your computer. He confined Google phones at google dot com slash funds, and if you already know which fund you want to download, you just enter the name here. Now there are different ways to have your phone's display eight as a word, a sentence, a paragraph or as a poster. And all these different options give you a great idea as to what your chosen formed is gonna look like. You can also change the preview text. For example, you could enter your own text. You can change the font size, and if you are looking at a number of different funds, you can have them sort it, for example, by alphabet data, edit or popularity if you're still looking around for different funds, there are also some filter options. For example, there is serif and serif means that the end off the strokes show these little decorative flourishes. Then there is a sense serif, which means that your letters are very simple and do not show the flourishes than there are display funds, which are used to catch the eye, create a model feeling or to announce important information. Hen writing is pretty self explanatory, and then there are Mona space funds, and Mona is based means that all letters and characters each occupy the same amount off horizontal space. As you can see here, you can also filter according to thickness slant or with and different scripts. No. Once you found a couple of funds you like, you can take a closer look by havering over them and then clicking on this, I can hear which says, Pop out. This view is very handy of you are writing in a language other than English and, for example, need specific letters or symbols. I once started out with the drone website, and I had chosen a fantastic fund combination on Lee to find out later that they didn't have all the letters I needed, which was kind of frustrating. When you've made your choice, you can add your phones, do the collection, you just hover over them and click on the blue button. Then the phones you selected will appear here in the gray area. To download them, you click on the download button here choose the first option, which says, Download the fund families in your collection, as is it you click on the Zip fall, click on Safe. You give your folder a specific name. Once the funds have been downloaded, you click on the folder. Just click on the relevant form name and click on install. Once you've installed your phones, they will automatically appear in your different software, such as word or Power Point, for example. And you can even use them in pic monkey, which I'm going to show you later. So much for Google funds. If you want to mix and match your own formed combinations, make sure to check out our fund combination guide and I will see you back in a bit. Now there is one more thing I'd like to mention.
