Project Description

Capture your regional landscape in 3-5 photos

ASSIGNMENT

Imagine you've been commissioned to take over your state, county, or city’s Instagram feed for one week to promote the region. This assignment is inspired by the time I was commissioned to visit Turkey with a group of fellow photographers. Show off the natural beauty of the place by discovering, photographing, and editing the scenes all around you into 3-5 compelling, dynamic images. By going through this process you’ll learn how to scout locations, capture the light, and tell stories. Your goal is to inspire people to come and visit you where you are.

DELIVERABLE

Post 3-5 photos of the landscape of your region in the project gallery. A finished project should include a diverse range of photos that show off different aspects of the region.

Note: If you share your images on Instagram, be sure to use the class hashtags: #timlandisXskillshare and #skillshare.
