About This Class

PDF Workbooks/Worksheets totaling 32 pages of resources and practice are available in the Additional Files section of the Class Project. If you'd prefer to download them to your iPad using Procreate here is the link to all 5 lessons. This will give you Procreate files to draw and letter on instead of having to import PDFs. If the link doesn't work, here is the link again.

Hear a piece of information and 3 days later you’ll remember 10% of it. Add a picture and you’ll remember 65%. This course will provide information about sketchnoting and get you started on the road to becoming a sketchnoter.

Be the end of the coursework you will be able to:

  1. State the benefits of using sketchnoting in personal, professional, and educational settings.
  2. List multiple tools (analog and digital) to use when sketchnoting.
  3. Gain hands-on experience.
  4. Produce several doodling and sketching products.

You will create several short activities that will prepare you for the final activity -  an illustrated Sketchquote.  To get a sneak peek at Sketchquotes search for the hashtag #sketchquotes on Instagram. Or visit this link to see one of my recent Sketchquotes.

This class is for the beginner. You don’t need to have artistic skills or even know what sketchnoting is to benefit from this course.

ALSO, I created several of my examples while I was participating in Diane Bleck's #21DoodleDays Challenge. You should check her out at The Doodle Institute. Great resources and activities.
