About This Class

live streaming?
want to live stream?
thinking of streaming to facebook but want to up your quality?

I've been using OBS Studio (free) on mac for nearly six months now for a variety of things and I love it, recently I've been playing with newer versions and other platforms which have opened up a bunch of really interesting areas.

I thought I would cover the software a little, show you how to capture system/game sounds, some power tips for putting more than two people on screen at once and some other power tips in the process.

this course is especially useful to people wanting to stream games as well - don't forget to watch all the way through, leave comments and also do the class project. it's a good one! :)

  • what is OBS Studio, why free can mean good, why you want to use it and what it can do?
  • quick walkthrough screencast of the features it has and some standard settings to use
  • how to capture system-wide audio using iShowU Audio Capture and SoundSource ($10)
  • why and it’s FTL protocol and interactive element could change the game!
  • how to display multiple remote webcams on one screen with a nifty trick! :)
  • how to setup browser sources like onscreen chat, tickers, soundboards, donations & more!
