About This Class

Have you ever thought of publishing your own book? Maybe it’s a manuscript that’s been secretly sitting in a drawer that you’ve never told anyone about. Perhaps it’s a story that’s been rejected one too many times but you know it has merit. It could be a work of non-fiction on a topic you feel passionate about and you’d now like to share it with others. The once frowned upon pursuit of self-publishing is today totally acceptable. In fact, some self-publishers have started their own companies or even made their way to the bestsellers list and got a publishing contract in the process. Others are making a living doing what they love most. While this three part class won’t delve into the topic of what sort of book you should write and what’s profitable in today’s market, it will show you how to format, upload and maneuver your way around most of the publishing platforms. It will tell you about the dos and don’ts and the pitfalls you might encounter along the way. Some of the topics I'll be covering in part one include- Pros and cons of self-publishing Amazon KDP Select Uploading Your Work to Amazon
