very great course loved it thank you Jason Candy another way of escaping a wrist lock is don;t wary about escaping through the thumb it will automatically happen only if you learn this technique although it can take some time to master it so practice the following rotate your wrist around the wrist of opponents grab and it dose not matter which side you rotate ones you do that you got to simultaneously strike the opponents wrist with a palm strike this works great for me even among-st strong grips but you can do it as you explained also is another way experiment see which way works best for you but the method i said above takes time to develop properly but ones done is very effective OK from there ones you palm strike the wrist as said above will leave a opening in upper head of opponent thus creating a opening to opponents head or chest you can also as you palm strike the wrist as said above at the same time palm strike a bit above the other palm strike with other hand to be added power for a even stronger grip escape but the 2nd part takes even longer to develop properly you can do this simultaneously also if you are grabbed on both wrists at the same time but only one palm strike on each grip held wrists you can escape even against a tight strong grip but the idea is for any grip or hold so on to escape before opponent has a tight grip or even still strike them just before they can grab you hold you so on yes that fast alertness awareness is the go in other words whatever attack it is a grab punch kick hold so on your reflexes must be trained to respond instantly to the attack but respond professionally thus this is what BRUCE LEE called his style jeet kune do which means the way of the intercepting fist in the same meaning you intercept any attack yes that faster still simple as that but relaxed that is without paronoier like thinking someone is attacking when they are not you must know the difference to when they are attacking to when they are not attacking. ye that fast
