About This Class

For a small-bite challenge, create this stunning pendant using a wide array of different bead shapes. Learn something new as you take on Spikes as well as two hole beads such as Crescents, Tilas, and Triangles! Advance your beadweaving skills to create one in every color combination!

 Play with colors and create your own personal rainbow while learning intermediate beading techniques.

ASSIGNMENT 

Create a pendant using your favorite bead colors.

Materials:

Focal Pendant Supplies:

  • One (1) 18mm Rivoli or Round Cabochon
  • Four (4) 8mm Rondelles
  • Four (4) CzechMates 2-Hole Triangles
  • Twelve (12) Crescent Beads
  • Eight (8) SuperDuo Beads
  • Sixteen (16)  O-Beads
  • Four (4) 6mm Disc Pendants (like Swarovski Xillion 6428), or Dragonscales, something flat
  • Ten (10) 3mm Rounds
  • Twelve (12) 3mm Bicones 
  • Four (4) 7x17mm Spikes or drop pendants (3 color A, 1 color B)
  • One (1) Focal bead (I used a Metal Skull bead and a Swarovski Scarab)
  • Size 15/0 Seed Beads
  • Size 11/0 Seed Beads
  • Size 11 Delicas/Cylinder beads
  • 4-6in of chain
  • 1.5ft of 22ga wire
  • One (1) 3-4mm Jumpring
  • Size 12 and 13 needles
  • Thread
  • Wire shaping tools (Cutter, round, and chain nose pliers)

Part 2 Beaded Chain Materials:

  • Sixteen (16) Crescent Beads
  • Eight (8) Tila Beads
  • Two 8mm Rivolis or Chatons (Swarovski SS39)
  • Two 6-8mm Rubber Rings or jumprings
  • 11/0 Seed Beads
  • 15/0 Seed Beads
  • 11/0 Delica Beads
  • Six (6) 8mm rounds or rondelles
  • Two (2) 6mm Bicones
  • Four (4) 6mm Rounds
  • Tw0 (2) 4mm Rounds
  • Twenty-Four (24) Metal Spacers or O-Beads
  • Forty (40) 3mm Bicones color A
  • Thirty-four (34) 3mm Bicones color B
  • Twelve (12) 4mm Bicones
  • Two (2) 3mm Rounds
  • One (1) Clasp
  • Needle and Thread
