I haven't begun using Scrivener because I wasn't sure it would allow me to do some of the things I wanted to do to organize my manuscript but this lesson showed me that I can have folder and sub-folders, change the icons used to give visual queues, etc. Now I am confident that Scrivener will allow me to have the kind of flexibility I had hoped.
This course provides details on tips to optimize Scrivener for writing novels and especially series. In writing a series, keeping track of all of the characters, settings, etc across multiple books can be a problem. This course shows short-cuts to manage this. Also, James shows a neat trick to use the split screen to help the writer use visual aids such as pictures, maps, and house plans, to increase realism.
David demystifies the Scrivener process clearly and consisely...I really enjoy his courses
